Extended Warranty that covers nothing
Do not take up an extended warranty with AWN. The Claytons Warranty. I took up an extended 12 mth warranty on a 2nd hand vehicle purchase in sydney. It was a Peugeot 308 and the ECM(Engine Control Module) has packed it in after 10 mths. This item is covered on the warranty but comes under additional components. When you bury down into the policy this component which is a $3000 fix is covered up to $300.00. They also cover towing up to $100 however this included in the $300 additional components as well. Please. This is money grabbing at the very least and if you are going to participate in the warranty space then be Fair Dinkum. Do not go near an AWN extended warranty.

Can't fault AWN Warranty, great and speedy service
My gears were playing up and it was clunking down into gear when slowing down. I phoned AWN to see if this would be covered( it was) it was suggested to try Gidman mechanical repairs at Hatton vale, they came back that the transmission was stuffed and it was going to cost just under $8000 to fix. I asked AWN if I could get a second opinion and they said it was fine. I went to Gilroys transmission in toowoomba and they took it for a test drive and confirmed that it wasn't the transmission at all but the torque converter, which would only cost $3...Read more

I was and am very happy with the Service and speed on how things were fixed. As for Gidmans mechanal repairs at Hatton Vale, I will be contacting AWN about how appalling there miss diagnostics and cost were to me and would not recommend anyone to use them full stop1 comment

No car for 2.5 weeks
A few days transporting car from compulsory mechanic to ford as they couldnt fix it. Then another few days for quote from Ford then another few days for AWN to approve quote then told parts had to come from MEL but (someone) refused to pay extra few $$ for parts to be overnighted so they took a few days. When car was finally ready was told by compulsory mechanic that they had no one to go pick it up. I said I would go straight to Ford and get it but told that was not an option so had to wait another day. Had to borrow cars and catch Ubers the whole time. Sold to us as new car warranty like 4 like but far far from it.

r 4 days to diagnose and quote the problem with your motor vehicle. Once the dealership found the problem, they ordered the new part from Melbourne as none were available in WA. The required parts needed to repair your vehicle took a few days to arrive in Western Australia. Customer service excellent
Human beings answer the phone and their empathy and urgency is great and yes it is actually good to speak to someone without being on hold for hrs.
They have already paid a claim via the statutory warranty and were quick to do it that's all you can ask for. i have a second one pending will see how that one go's but can't fault them for now.

Excellent peace of mind insurance
Policy was easy to set up, though some guidance on the level of cover you may require would be necessary for the mechanically illiterate, as they offer three levels of cover at different costing.
Have been with this insurer for nearly three years and having made several claims I am pleased to say their service is prompt professional and helpful. The claim process is simple and the feedback from the repairers themselves was encouraging to hear as they referred to them as the best insurer they have to deal with. Highly recommended.

Superb customer service & value for money
Got my used car repaired twice with them. Both times, their customer service was prompt in receiving and addressing my claims. They provided confirmation to my garage guy within 24 hours of receipt of my claim. I am glad I paid a premium and good an advanced mechanical breakdown warranty.

Amazing service and absolutely no fuss on our claim with AWN.
* We purchase the policy 12 months to cover our Land Rover Discovery 4, it was a very simple set-up process
* Our vehicle broke down and the call out mechanic informed us what the problem was, we called AWN straight away and they confirmed the break down was covered by our policy and suggested a preferred repair shop to quote the job.
* We dropped our vehicle to the work shop the following morning, the car was fix that day with a new part and it was ready for pickup by 4:00pm the same day
* The workshop which AWN recommended (Crawford Automotive) was also very impressive, not only was their service amazing with a prompt turn around on fixing the car, they also ran a very clean and professional workshop.

They've paid more than 10x my policy premiums. Worth every dollar!
Paid just over AUD 1.3k for a 3 year extension of mechanical warranty when I bought my vehicle and gosh am I glad I did. AWN have paid 4 claims during a 3 year period (over $10k in claims) - each fully covered. On each claim, AWN have dealt with my AWN approved mechanic directly who has lodged the claim on my behalf with little or no intervention from me. There has only been one occasion where I had to push quite assertively to get my claim covered, however, on all the other occasions, AWN have been a pleasure to deal with. Easy - good value
Unfortunately I bought a lemon, car broke down on the Thursday, the set me up with protech auto and we took it in friday
We had a response that afternoon, and the warranty covered a huge amount of the repairs

If you're ever really determined to buy a car, but your gut tells you it could be a lemon, don't hesitate to buy awn's deluxe warranty. In my case, my bmw 320i turned out to be a hydroponic lemon, but AWN sorted me out, reimbursed my towing charges, paid for repairs and labour. My claim was approved on the same day. Thank you for how you handled my claim and how quickly it was done
My engine blow up on the 28/12/18 and no one's open at that time of year so they towed me home for the holidays and got the car re-towed on the 2nd at no cost to me to get the car fixed
Took only a couple of days to have the car tested and approved for the claim with out any problems
