Be warned, do not go through this company. Received holiday vouchers which offered free flights to one of 5 locations, if you stay a minimum of 7 nights. Long story short, was charged an additional $700 over what I could have payed if I had booked the holiday myself, and that is if i also purchased flights! A total fraud, scamming innocent people of their money. Stay away, throw your vouchers out.

I paid nearly $500 for two from any destination to any destination within Australia.
I was told, i could choose my trips dates (3 return trips x 2 people and to choose my own preference of hotel stays /accommodation. I understood that i had 3 years to use it up. The airfares were locked for 3 years, regardless of fluctuating market.
They never said that the hotels were of their chosen chain group with expensive rates for x number of days and to have them paid ahead before traveling. They're absolutely a smooth operating scamming group, alarm bells should ring...they should be made to refund to unsatisfied customer, and current affairs should investigate this company.

Don't purchase these vouchers!! We paid $700 more through Up and Go then it would have cost us if we booked the same holiday ourselves. The 48 hour cancellation is NOT actually possible once flights are booked... When I pushed the issue, I was told that they couldn't do anything about it, as there was a sale on the accommodation at the time and it was unfortunate. We could only fly out of Sydney (we don't live in Sydney-we live in a different city that also flys direct to the Gold Coast). When I refused to accept their pathetic explainations, I was given another voucher to use in the future as compensation, with a 'promise' that next time we will get a good deal. I don't think so 'Up and Go'!

I booked 3 return flights to Sydney to take my children on a holiday last year when I was in hospital with cancer.
Last week I rang up n go travel to book the flights and was told there was no flights available and
I would have to book hotel rooms at a cost of $800 per person per room in March next year.
When I paid for these airfares there was no mention of a requirement to book hotel rooms.
This is just a scam to rip travellers off.

The vouchers sound too good to be true...guess what they are. Trust your gut feeling and don't buy them.
They only offer expensive accommodation and they don't have cheap flights. It's cheaper to book your own flights and accommodation. I did and it was $700 cheaper than up and go's price and that including their bogus vouchers. I asked for a refund but they refused. I think everyone who have had problems should report them to Fair Trading and let them deal with them.

I decided to purchase 2 of their packs which were "encouraging travel in Australia". When i went to use the flights i couldnt unless i used the 7 nights accomodation with them and they were quite pricey. I didnt end up using them at all and am quite annoyed by that.

This is nothing but a scam, I am trying to book to go to the Whitsundays for the end of July and they reckon there is only 2 options left. He did the massive sell for Peppers resort, which they must be agents of and he gave me a really expensive price.
I Went on Peppers own website after the conversation and for the same dates and number of nights, I could get it for nearly $900 cheaper than they wanted to sell it at.

I will never be going through them again!

I'm surprised at the reviews here, as I had the most positive experience with Up & Go, from a customer service point of view and value for Money. I have just had my holiday in Cairns, staying in Port Douglas, which as you may know can be an expensive place to holiday. I asked Up & Go for a quote and once I receive their quote jumped online to do some research. Up & Go were clearly the cheapest! Even when comparing on those accommodation deal sites. I stayed at the Mantra in Port Douglas, was beautiful, breakfast included no problems. Paid up & go, got my travel itinerary... Just really easy! Thanks guys!

Don't go near this company! I've tried to get my money back after feeling like I didn't get all the details correct. It all sounded too good to be true during the initial phone call (was a telemarketer so should have known better!) I would never have booked had I'd known about all the restrictions, like having to book for a minimum of 2 weeks & giving them heaps of notice before even getting a quote! When I did attempt to get a quote to use my vouchers, I didn't hear back from anyone! It's a joke! Anyway, my vouchers have expired & they are refusing to refund my money. It's been a complete waste of money & time talking to rude people on the phone.

Just completed our bookings to the sunshine coast. First big family holiday with the 2 little munchkins. Steve was very knowledgeable and able to handle our strict travel dates. Everything ready to go and didn't take any effort on our part. Looking forward to some sun and surf with the kids. Thanks Steve!

I read the reviews and gave them the benefit of the doubt, I asked for return flights to Melb - 8 nights accommodation and supposedly I was meant to get return tickets for 2 for the Initial $236. The quote came back at over $2400 the hotel should have been $1000 so what is the other $1400 for?? Flying the budget airline and horror time flights. Thanks for nothing, I booked online elsewhere for same hotel, full service flight and saved money. Avoid at all costs.

The Airfares are very good value for money.

We were already planning a break at short notice when I heard from Up 'n' Go travel. I was initially concerned that it would mean compromising our plans and having to change the dates we had available in order to utilise the voucher, especially as it was school holidays where we were travelling to! No problem for Steve though, he did a great job finding cancelled flights and accommodation for us. Not only did we not have to compromise our dates, but he even saved us money to get a better holiday for less! Very happy with that. Keep up the great work.
