impossible to keep clean
Why does this manufacturer make a fantastic product, only to make it impossible to maintain it when it gets clogged? After vacuuming well before using the machine it will inevitably have some fibres sucked up, especially with wool carpets. Took me an hour to clean the carpets a good hour and half trying to clean the machine!
They simply don't make things to go the distance anymore, but why? probably so we have to bin it when it stops working and buy another.

Passable. Cannot recommend though
I saved and saved all my 180,000 points for this machine. I decided to use my points in case i was not happy. And im afraid im not.
The components are plastic....and not the thickness or quality i expected. Even the upholstery hose feels cheap. I purchased additional attachments for just over $100 for the sole purpose of wanting only one in the set. Which broke in a short time. I also purchased prior, the hand stain remover machine, again the plastic let me down.
The filter and components needs cleaning out alot. To do it perfectly...tak...Read more

An great domestic carpet cleaner
I am very happy with the Bissell Powerwash Powerbrush cleaner. It is light enough and very manoeuvrable in corners and around furniture. I have so far used it on three rooms that have alpaca carpet fitted and I am happy with the outcome. The water tank could be bigger, as you are constantly refilling the tank. Spend the time cleaning the appliance properly to remove lint etc from the rotary brush otherwise it will spit the lint back onto your freshly cleaned carpet. A little maintenance is worth the end result.

ust water in hopes to reduce chemicals in the carpet and my house in general. I do this at the end of the last room or the next day. I find that it’s a better clean and healthier. After using my machine further, I still abide by my previous comments 100%. I do have a lot of carpet and the job is prolonged by needing to clean the components . I do however do a run of j... Read more
