Classic H.Classic Holidays

Hi Swivel, this all depends on what type of booking you made. If you've purchased CPO and your cancellation is made up to 72 hours prior to confirmed arrival date, then no penalties with apply and your Points will be saved for a booking at a later date, up to the Points original expiry date which is 2 years from the date of issue.

Please contact us directly on the numbers listed here if your booking is within the next 30 days as we do have special provisions for those affected by the COVID-19 situation: http://points.classicholidays.com.au/special-pages/valued-member-announcement

Hi Maria. I am a classic member and have these figures. 1 point = 0.038 so 20,000 points would cost approx $760 AUD or $800 NZD 20,000 points would get you a week at some resorts depending on the room size and pricing at the resort. Hope this helps : )

Ron I guess it depends on how much they were asking upfront and how much your maintenance fees will be over that time. Classic have some good location and are you intending to spend time at them. If you intend going elsewhere particularly overseas then you have to add exchange fees to the equation. How then does that equate to just taking a normal holiday at a resort. Something you could probably do through a company called DAE.

Hi Ron. If you are looking at joining up with Classic then please contact me on FB as we would be happy to sell you our membership at a very reasonable cost as we have not been able to use ours. Thanks. Margaret C.

I signed up last month, and have not been happy with the product at all. Really wish I had read some reviews before I forced my unwilling husband to attend the presentation with me.
We were promised the world. We were not told about the cooling off period and that we could not cancel the membership at all, ever. I have contacted Classic a few times and have been told a flat out NO you can not cancel. We spoke about the places I wanted to visit during our presentation and they hyped us up making us believe we were signing up to this awesome membership. I have searched and searched the website and can not find any accommodation to the places we spoke about. I was mislead and I am now stuck paying off this product I will never use. What an expensive mistake.

We attended yesterday and singed to buy, after reading the reviews we took the the stuff back today and took the cooling of period, I’m pleased we did that, my husband said he was rude at first but we got our deposit back, the annual fees seemed a lot cheaper than people are saying on here, it confused me so we opted out, so lucky our flight is tomorrow so we could return everything, not interested in the so called free holiday, our financial adviser told us don’t do It use your cooling of period and get out

Hi there,
Have heard that you can change to points from weeks. Is this true and if so, will this cancel the 99 year contract currently held and what is the cost?
Many thanks

Hi Lynne we are a standard timeshare owner and they came and offered us to take that off our hands so we don;t have to keep paying the maintenance fees. But instead of this being a straight sway/ asset for aspire membership (pretty sure land values in Queenstown have gone through the roof) they said we could do this for $18000. and hen we only pay a fee that was less than maintenance fee and got to use timeshares for nothing. $18000.00!!! They are basically classifying the timeshare as having no value. Pretty sure if I bought an apartment in 1992 and sold in 2022 there would be not only equity but also capital gain! - BEWARE

My sister-in-law ‘gave’ us one of her timeshare weeks. We did not understand that this was an ongoing commitment when we took it on. Can you please advise where in our documentation it states the DURATION of the contract?

Hi Sandra, I can't answer questions on Timeshare, that is not the product I have. You would best be answered by calling the company. I'm not an employee.

Is it true that you can buy into The Classic Holiday Points system for a 10 year contract which then cancels our week of timeshare ownership and we won’t have to pay the yearly timeshare fees for the next 66 years of our 99 year contract that Grandfather bought. He did not realise this until I went to a seminar last year. We just want to get out of Timeshare. A salesman tells us this can happen but I am wary. Barb Reilly

I think this is a scam - today my in-laws were offered a "deal" to pay $20K for a 10 year contract to get out of their timeshare and were told otherwise they will have to pay $500K!!! which will come out of their estate! ASIC needs to look into this again

We are wanting to sell my Mothers classic holiday membership, as she is unable to use it to its full potential.
We have been told we can sell it and classic holidays will help with the transfer.
