Reliable, good speeds
Been with Clublinks Telecommunications since we moved to the Sandhurst Club 6 years ago.
Have had very few internet issues, barring a couple of unforeseen estate wide outages.
It’s been very reliable, with good speed at all times.

I'm on a 50Mbps plan and consistently get around 48Mbps, I rarely have any issues and when I call them....I get to speak to someone in Australia who speaks English!

Probably the worst telecom company in Australia
We have been out of internet service for over 2 weeks, they are still waiting for a module that's taking for ever. Why don't they keep spare modules. One of their support guys "M.." is the worst ever to talk to. We know technical faults do occur and it can take a day or two to fix but not having a spare module for so many weeks, and the support person so rude in an " apparently " nicer suburb like Sanctuary Lakes Point Cook... Horrible....

Worst Internet Provider Ever!
Worst Internet Service Provider Ever, Very Unfriendly and Poor Customer Service!! Internet and phone line Dropouts all the time! Never call back and return phone calls! When we get someone on the phone they hang up if they don't feel talking .. They are saying if we are not happy to go somewhere else even-tho they know we can't use other service provider except them. There should be a organized legal action taken by all Sandhurst/Sandarra residents against them....

Clublinks Internet Review
Very expensive, slow/dropouts, very poor customer service.
Worse internet service provider ever.
Unfortunately Clublinks is the only Internet Service Provider in my area.

GREAT COMPANY, EVEN GREATER SERVICE!
I am perplexed to say the least at reading some of the negative reviews of ClubLinks on this page. My connection was done on the very same day I enquired and they even waived the $70 connection and set up fee. When I found that I was missing a small quick guide manual, there technician drove all the way out to our home to give it to us the next day. That is service! We dealt with a lady named Yvette and from the first call right through to connection, she was amazing. Regarding the connection and speeds, it's fast and without problems at all thus far.

excellent service but not cheap
I had the internet connected about three months ago, and whilst the cost of connecting was fairly high, my family is more than happy with the service and speeds we are receiving. We can stream movies etc without any buffering or problems with dropouts etc but we also have a top of the range router and up to date computers and phones.
The customer service is a different setup, sometimes you have to wait to speak to someone, but I like the fact that you are talking to people in Australia who know what they are doing, and not someone in an over...Read more
seas call centre who is reading off a script and who I have trouble understanding. They could perhaps be a little more competitive on prices, but that being said I'm getting download speeds of 90-95Mbps at the moment. Compared to my last house took Telstra three visits and nearly five weeks to connect - and then I only got download speeds of about 15 Mbps, my experience with ClubLinks internet has been excellent!Similar opinion? Absolute Trash.
Incompetent and senile.
Absolute disgrace since we signed up around March this year from Point Cook. I was concerned (and rightly so) after hearing from our real estate agent that there was a direct connection already in the home (after we signed the lease damn it) and that Clublinks was our only option. A tech in his late fifties came out to setup the connection - all that was needed was for the modem to be configured and it was good to go. I was at work at the time but left instructions for the tech so he could set it up if he wished. He i...Read more
nstead left a generic modem and decided that taking it without asking (this was a $300+ modem/router) back to the office for them to configure was a good idea and that he would drop it back in 2-3 days. I was annoyed (it's a 2 minute job and the instructions were right there) but gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited and waited and waited. I didn't see that modem for a good 3 months after numerous calls, including calls where the tech said he had lost it as well as that it had 'already been delivered.' Don't get me started on the rest. Atrocious download speeds (<10% of what was offered) - far worse than ADSL2, constant disconnections and dropouts (up to 10+ hours at a time), average support, all while paying a premium of 3 figures a month with no form of compensation. I must say that speeds have improved since an upgrade a few weeks ago but regardless, I would avoid at all costs. I do apologise if this review sounds harsh. I'm quite passionate about areas such as this and have a low tolerance for incompetence. My experience actually has me hoping that Telstra moves into town so that I can sign up with them. Now that's something.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
The worst ISP ever!
Just move to the estate since September this year, I signed up for the 50Mbit/S plan, but the actual speed is way below what I expected, I usually get 10-20Mbit/S at best, has been with Telstra for 3 years, they actually provide much better services.Oh, btw my internet service randomly drops out at least once a week, and they never attend to your emails, maybe we should do a class petition or complaint to ACCC.

Terrible
Internet speed is worse than dial up, sometimes i have create a hotspot with my 4g iPhone as its faster. They refuse to accept responsibility, they think they have monopoly on the market. This is not fibre optic internet, its rubbish, so save the stress and join with someone else

Excellent service and speed.
Got connected 4 days after submitting my application.
The speeds have exceeded the plans limits with really low latency (as tested by speedtest.net). Customer service is a breeze and everyone is very approachable.
In saying all of that though the frequent drop outs make the service a nightmare to use. Streaming a video on Netflix is one example. You can have the quickest connection but dropping out every hour keeps pausing the video. Over the last couple of weeks I've been getting download speeds in excess of 80Mbps.

Premium price, non premium service.
Newer resident to the area and despite significant prices for a promised speed, speed is way below expectations. Was notified of known issues recently but nothing has happened for a month yet I notice the bill just arrived with no mention of lower delivery or compensation.
Their website is constantly down through non payment which makes me think their finances are as dodgy as their speeds.

Poor product, poor service.
Not a great service and support. Very poor speed and they won't bother responding to your requests, you hardly get one response a day if lucky otherwise just keep waiting. They could be better if they have someone to manage it properly.

Great Service.
I was a little hesitant in signing up after reading the reviews, but I have found the internet service to be faster than the ADSL i was able to get and i have not had any problems to date - but I'm a technically capable user as well. The support side of things is interesting, it does sometimes take a little while to get through BUT i like the fact that I'm not speaking to someone in an overseas call center reading off a script, the people actually work from the estate and seem to have a fairly good rapport with the community. So again, its an interesting setup but overall i cant fault it.

ClubLinks Sanctuary Lakes..incompetance and unprofessionalism at it's best!!!
I wish to warn people who are thinking or are in the process of moving to Sanctuary Lakes estate in Point Cook, Melbourne, about the local security and internet company by the name of ClubLinks.
Firstly, would you believe they make you pay $1,329, just to connect phone and Fibre Optic service to your property? Nobody in the whole country charges this much for this type of service! They charge this much because they have a service monopoly on the area and can charge as much as they like as everyone wants Fibre, it's actually very unethical wh...Read more
at they are doing by taking advantage of the situation! The Fibre service is terrible also as it's very unreliable at times and speeds are way below expectations considering the high cost you pay for it. And god help you if you need technical support, if you are even lucky enough to actually get a response to your problem, chances are it will not be the response you were anticipating as they never seem to read the question properly before answering, they're very unhelpful and show very little attention to detail most times! Just lazy I reckon! Their security division is no better, you pay a small fortune a year for monitored security around Sanctuary Lakes and you're lucky if you see any security at all throughout the day (I assume they exist but are more of a myth I reckon because they are NEVER around), Clublinks are more interested in charging fee after fee for commissioning alarm systems which one minute they say is compliant, then the next minute they say it isn't and can't wait to charge you another call out fee to come back again if they find the alarm is "non-complaint" to begin with even though it's listed on the Sanctuary Lakes website as compliant, the whole thing is a joke! $99.50 for every call out fee, what a joke!!! Hopefully this incompetent and unprofessional company will go out of business sooner rather than later (it's sure heading that way judging by how bad their customer service is) and give someone else who's up to the task a go, they couldn't possibly be any worse than these Clublinks clowns!!!Similar opinion? What is Clublinks like in Sanctuary Lakes Vic. Are the speeds as advertised on their plans?

No, they drop all the time. At lease a couple days in a month you will have no internet.

I just purchased a house in sanctuary lakes. My part of sanctuary lakes has a Telstra, there is only one service provider that is ClubLinks. After reading above reviews, I am afraid to go with ClubLinks, is there any other options available for me to get connected to the internet other than club links?
More over they are asking me $1350 to connect the phone and internet, this is ridiculous! I have cinduite conected to pit and internal wiring done, communications hub fitted in the garrage then why the hell I need to pay 1350. I don't understand, I feel like I am in the third world country. Can anyone suggest me any good alternative? I guess I don't have one but let's try.

I can't remember what I paid for the connection fee, but no where near that figure, probably around 200 dollars. If Clublinks is the only internet provider, then I am afraid you do not have a choice here, just have to stick with them.
We have been in Sanctuary Lakes for 18mths and yes this is what we paid to connect $1350, I work for Telstra and cant even have them as a provider. Club links is the only option. It's a poor service which drops out or slows down to a speed you can not use. Support is Mon to Fri 9-5. Which is not acceptable in this day and age. I've been home on sick leave since Dec and can see just how often the Internet drops off and you can have no internet for hours. on several occasions I have had no internet all weekend.
Then I call them Monday from work to which I have to go home at night to reset modem or something, then because it's after 5pm, I have to call them the next day in work hours. It's disgraceful, premium fee for terrible service.
