I booked insurance for myself & a friend however she forgot that someone else had already booked her insurance. I rang to cancel but because we were out of the 15 day cooling off period it cost us a quarter of the original sale. This is despite us both having Covermore insurance. I will never use them again.

So I was online and had one simple question. I rang the call centre and selected what I though was the right option. Got the sales team and when I asked the question they refused to answer and told me if I wasn't going to buy from them then they couldn't help me.
I was going to buy from them but had already entered everything online and just wanted an answer to my question so the call centre guy just dumped my call back to the menu.
Still purchased but I still don't have an answer to my question.

Policy was excellent value, very easy to pick the cover needed.
Have lodged a claim in the past, covermore was excellent they couldn't have done more if they had tried.
Excellent phone help when needed always ended their call with "Can we do anything else for you" they were fantastic. They had it all covered with nothing being a hassle.
Have used covermore a number of times and wouldn't travel without it.
Highly recommend.

Easy process even if you have existing medical conditions. We have used this company several times now and at present see no reason why we should change our CoverMore Travel Insurance company.

I always use Cover More - it is easy to set up and provides peace of mind. A friend once needed to make a claim in difficult circumstances and the process could not have been easier. I have used this company at least ten times when travelling.

My family and I have used Covermore for years and on countless different trips. I recently made a claim on a camera lens that was damaged in transit - in the hand luggage compartment of the plane. I thought the claims process was going to be painful - but it was really efficient and straightforward. Cover More kept me well informed throughout the process, and were remarkably understanding. I couldn't be happier with the service and outcome!

We had a minor accident with our hire car and had to pay the insurance excess. We submitted a claim about 2 months after we returned from holiday, because we were waiting for the hire company to supply the required documents. The claim was submitted online and processed in about 4 days, we could not have asked for a better service. This was the first time we have used Cover-more but will certainly use it when we travel in the future.

Won't cover all but a few minor pre-existing conditions and will insinuate no other company would either. Which is far from reality. They want easy $$$.
After being asked 5 questions to establish my risk - even answering No to all of them resulted in absolutely no offer of coverage.
When I asked for a personal assessment, the process offered was ludicrous.
A competitor offered complete coverage with absolutely no hassle, just a higher premium as expected. Search elsewhere for coverage

Well had always believed that Covermore was one of the best insurance for older travellers however my Nanna has returned from trip and had to make a claim due to a stollen passport and what a joke!!!
As someone else has said in feedback it is the most drawn out process where they keen emailing saying 10 business days then ask a question then another 10 days again and nothing then only to have half her accomodation covered for her hotel room as she had to stay longer is just the company excuse to not pay!!!!!

Go somewhere else for travel insurance. This company is a joke.
Edit: Received a reply 16 days later after originally contacting apologising as they had a "high volume" of messages and my case was closed. I guess with so many people not getting responses that's to be expected.

I had to claim for damaged suitcase whilst travelling overseas. Very easy online process to create a claim and upload photos. Communication was received when it was due and the claim paid in a very timely manner.

I recently had to cancel an overseas business trip due to a medical condition and submitted a claim for expenses incurred. I followed the on-line claim form and submitted the relevant documents and was fully re-funded all monies (minus excess) in a very speedy and efficient manner. I would highly recommend Cover-More Insurance to anyone.

Process was good, but if you can please put a larger separation between the assessment commencement line for a first applicant and the commencement of the second applicant. I miss it every time because it sits separate from the first person and immediately above the second applicant. Just a small improvement suggestion only!

I went through air nz recommended insurance cover thinking if something was to happen it would be easier. Over a month to complete an outcome and I had to follow them up. Beware if someone passes away and they currently had a condition you will not get your amended ticket reimbursed. Insurance is for unforeseen circumstances happening and it can happen at anytime like a car accident how can you knock this back not a very human policy.
Cover NO more from this company.

Received free travel insurance via Commbank credit card.
We were a family of 4 delayed in HK recently due to the protests and had to spend an extra 3 days there with no luggage (as we had already checked it in via the Airport Express Checkin Counters), so therefore had to buy clothes and toiletries as well. We kept all our receipts for all expenditure including accomodation, meals, clothes, toiletries and transportation and then made a claim when we got back home. The claims process was straightforward, sent via email the completed claims form with copies of receipts and claim was processed within the week including payment hitting the bank! Couldn't fault them. An excellent experience.

My wife and I purchased tickets with Cathay Pacific in March 2022 to take us via Hong Kong to London. As we all know, the past 3 months + have been rather tumultuous in Hong Kong. As our attendance in England is conference related we needed surety in our transport. We therefore cancelled our Cathay Pacific flight and went with another carrier. Cover-More were very understanding of our situation and refunded the cost of our tickets (the amount being the difference after the refund from Cathay Pacific was received). We have had a very positive claims experience. Thank you to the Claims Team.
