So Glad i bought this Brand, I'am very pleased and would highly recommend it .
The Best product i have ever brought, It is a very quiet unit, and it cools the rooms very quickly. In winter it warms and the heat flows evenly around. It has many features built in the control Panel, very happy .Installation was very quick, and customer service was Excellent.

Amazing job over HOTTEST summer on East Coast Australia
So very happy with this Unit. With the impossible, hottest temperatures on record this year for summer, we just wouldn't have survived without our Daikin A/C Unit. Quiet, efficient, Easy to use - multiple fan speed, temperature control just perfect. Would definitely recommend! Has timer feature which was brilliant. Can't wait to see what this unit does for winter, using the reverse cycle feature.

Quiet and efficient. A Must have in summer
Took only 5-6 hours for a Daikin technician to install and he tidied up and vacuumed before I got home. Efficient cooling. Temperature control good so it is economical to use. Perfect for a small apartment and takes less than 15 minutes to cool the bedroom and lounge from 33 to 26degrees .

Changed my life
I love my Daikin air conditioner. I live in an apartment so it was very important that the outside unit be very quiet as well as the inside unit. The outside unit sits on my balcony and not one neighbour has been able to hear it. It was installed by Ben Rafferty Air and they were supremely professional. Not having to suffer through hot summer nights any more is a god send and I wish I had bought the Daikin years ago.

At last!!
I never thought my environmentalist husband would agree to aircon, but this summer has been a scorcher. He capitulated and we quickly had the unit installed by a local cooling specialist. It is unobtrusive by view and sound-whisper quiet in fact! It has s great thermostat and seems quite cheap to run.
It's quite small in size but effectively cools our large bedroom area which includes a bathroom and dressing room. Obviously it complies with all the "green" criteria and has been a big success.

Great Airconditioner
I'm very happy with my Daiken airconditioner. It's fantastically quiet both inside and out. It cools the whole of my 2 bedroom unit. The installation was quick and efficient no complaints. All controls for the unit are easy to use and if your a bit confused whe controls also have pictorials. Couldn't be happier.

Can't live without
Having just had this unit installed, it is working perfectly and coping brilliantly with 44 degrees over the last 4 days. I will strongly recommend everybody and anybody to purchase Daikin reverse air conditioning to cool their house.
The installation process was seamless and only took 5 hours to install from start to up and working.
This unit is ultra quiet and easy to use the controls.

The only solution after 2 years research
I needed about 14 units of various sizes for home office and accommodation for shorter and long term workers. We have had daikin's installed at the office in 2003 of which haven't got a lot of use but been trouble free. Here we relied on the old heavy expensive central unit. this was recently replaced by 2 new daikens of 4 and 3 KW so as to heat/cool in the rooms we use. The older Daikin ones are in rooms not often used. Upstairs unit installed daikin in 2002 also when 2nd floor added and is used hard. Old daikins from then have performed fault...Read more
less for 13 years and are inverters. Most new units installed in the last year are at accommodation home where abuse is often prevalent. Original units were cheap Chinese non inverters, were turned to highest and windows left open or even while they leave for work day and most failed in a short time. Power costs high. I needed a solution to counter abuse and accepting installers recommendation n sizing was questionable given no matter what size installed, it would be set at the highest temp for winter or lowest for summer. Samsung was my first choice as I could thru wifi oversee the temps and adjust from ipad remotely. Then Daiken finally introduced a wifi option for $120 to each unit, to do this. Initially they advised I could only oversee one unit per ipad and all sales areas had no experience with this new option. Working with Daikin Australia, we found that I could indeed monitor all units from one ipad once they played with it at their home and work etc. I cant believe companies haven't woken up to the unmet demand of remote surveillance of abuse to units. Places like hostels would benefit greatly. Guess what? I haven't been able to work this feature out on wifi and despite awesome new router hub, I still have not utilised this power saving feature to monitor use. Its a 6 bedroom home with about 8 tenants. power bill shocked me with winter use and abuse to be a quarterly bill of just $1040 which was far lower than expected. Given I have an indoor pool of 45,000 litres and pumps running 6 hours a day, 12 months of the year. I have to say these new systems are absolutely the bees knees for performance and savings!!! Office had 2 fitted as said far up above. Both a 3.5 and a 4. I should have gone for a 4.6 and only 50$ extra given my negotiated pricing structure. With old 35 year old out door unit no longer working, I now save about $7 a day, as per my bill compared with previous year and time period. Both the installs above will pay for themselves over a 3 year period approximately in power savings. Now my personal Home. A 7 kw in lounge dinning run for about 6 hours a day and a 2.5kw in bedroom that may run 50 hours over a year. We obviously don't use it much in bed room and have great evaporative for cooling. We switched off our underfloor heating which covered exactly what the 7 kw split inverter was to replace. The underfloor heating usually cost $1.100 for 3 months and was never set at a comfortable temp, rather we still rugged up in cold weather. Our account dropped by $800 for our period this year of 3 months in winter and we enjoyed a warmer living area at a fraction of the cost with the new inverter. This install may have a pay back period of 1 or 2 more years simply because they are used as a heating only solution and savings are only in winter. Am I satisfied? 100%. I didn't go the Samsung route as threads in other sites like whirlpool were quite damning. Many need to also realise that warrantee and extended warrantee are not so important. Paying for the extended warrantee is throwing away money.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Big disappointment
I have a 6.5 star rated energy saving home with insulated roofline. Bought 3 Daikin units, each 4 years old now. Good cooling capacity although not icy cold, however living in Gippsland that didn't worry me. Heating was ok to start but is now so poor I need extra floor heaters to keep warm. Units used to be fine now they just will not heat up to selected temperature, they level out at around 20 degrees. Sensors were turned off but didn't help. Energy costs are high and I'm still cold. Will never recommend split systems - cooling only from now on.

Good for small to medium sized rooms
I've just recently had two of these installed into the residential premises, despite being somewhat of an older discontinued model. The number one thing was something that had a very high energy efficiency rating and this does tick all the boxes in that region.
We have just recently installed this into a master bedroom and a baby room and so far on a 30 degree day or so, I've only had to use the minimal setting to allow the medium size room to be tranquil and cool. You can barely hear that its on which is good, however; apparently, with our...Read more
master bedroom unit, there is a clicking noise that occurs approximately every 30 to 45 seconds... I've given it a bit of a smack on the head unit which is probably not a good thing to do; although I don't think its done very much to reduce the sound. So far I'm relatively impressed with it, on the plus side, it has an illuminating LCD screen; which is much better than my other split system in the lounge that does not have this function despite being much more powerful. Haven't had any other problems so far (touch wood). Energy efficiency, illuminating LCD screen if you're lazy to turn on the light, easy to use, Quiet Clicking noise every 30 to 45 seconds on the head unit (on our one)Similar opinion? Super super quiet! Perfect!
The FTXS25K is the perfect size for my bedroom. It has hardly made any difference to my electricity bill and i can hardly hear it at all.
Quiet, energy efficient!
