Everything it took to build our house was of poor quality or the level of seconds as "brand new" items were chipped, scratched or damaged and no responsibility was taken to correct this even at the time noticing this. items were not installed and were signed off as having been. simple things like double glazed windows which constantly fog up and have a slight chips from installation, fitting downlights and smoke alarms fell apart or fell from the ceiling. plaster sheets not secured (don't lean on our walls they very well may fall), walls not pa...Read more

This is the first house I have had built due to horror stories I have heard about building but would do it again without any hesitation because of the team at East West homes. The slab went down fine.Then it was all down hill.We had severe acid burn on our brickwork.When the brick cleaner tried to rectify this the bricks were pock marked and chipped.Some of these bricks were replaced.We are still looking at damaged brickwork 1 year after moving in.The plumbing was blocking post moving in. this was brought to East West homes attention.This was not rectified properly on 2 occasions.Subsequently we had an internal flood.The carpet became mouldy and smelt.With some arguing(East West Homes stated that the carpet seemed fi...Read more

Nightmarish experience, was promised a 6 month build,and it took 18 months, incurring loads of construction interest which defeated the purpose of saving on stamp duty by building from scratch. The final product was VERY poor condition, loads and loads of issues, building inspector couldn't believe it. The builder missed expansion joints, did a very very rough job on the finishes and the landscaping was atrocious.
