Hi! I have a quick smart that is about 3 months old and flashing drum clean. I've read how to do it but I'm not connected to hot water. I only use cold. So what can I do? It won't let me change the temperature setting.

Fault code 12 means the water level has exceeded the flood protection level, the load may have been too large. Please try again and see if the machine faults in which case you may require service.

To clean the filter: This should be cleaned out approximately once a month. 1 Turn the power off and unplug the machine. 2 Use a coin or key to open the filter cover. Place the edge of the coin into the slot and tilt upwards whilst levering the cover open. 3 Unhook the pump outlet hose and pull it out (about 150 mm). Remove the plug and allow any water (approximately 250 mls) to drain into a shallow dish. 4 After the draining process is complete, replace the plug into the hose and refit the hose back into the housing. 5 Remove the filter by turning anticlockwise. Clean and rinse under a tap. 6 Replace the filter by turning clockwise until the white mark on the filter is in line with the white line on the pump housing.
My waher somehow went out of balance careering across the room. When I look inside the rubber gaskit is okay for half of it but twisted for the other half. What do I do? Does it need replacing?

We have top loader washing machine. When we put on spin. Machine half spin after that little bit shake then start washing from start.

We have the Washsmart 8.5kg front loader. It is only about 8 months old, but it has always had extreme vibration and noise during the spin stage. We have had a technician out, and he seemed to think nothing was wrong with the machine, but I am worried about our house structure it is that bad.
The dryer was initially placed on top of the machine, but it shook so violently that it threw the dryer right off onto the ironing board. Windows from the other side of the house vibrate when it is on spin cycle, and our house is a decent size.
Is this normal? as I said I am worried about the house structure, as my husband has just noticed a crack in the plaster near the laundry, and in 15 years we have never had cracks in the plaster.
My previous front loader sounded like that but this new one is much quieter and more stable, so I reckon there's a problem with the alignment perhaps? I can't imagine why it would behave so differently to mine.

Is the machine correctly levelled and feet locked?
Just got my new fisher and paykel front loader on the weekend and my once fluffy towels are coming out like cardboard! Is this a front loader thing? My previous Simpson top loader seemed to have them coming out a lot softer. I've tried different water temp, different spin speeds, and different wash programs with no success, even our clothes are coming out rough and ragged looking. So upset :(

Machine is flashing drum clean but will not do anything. Key lock light is on, but can open door. Press any button and machine just beeps. Have cleaned filter. Machine is couple of months old. Can anyone help?
