quite good product
I bought this as a supplemental heater during the recent abnormally cold temps here in albury. It works great and I am sure the AC will be good this summer, but if you are planning on using this to maintain the heat in an area, there is a problem you need to know about. When the unit is not running, there is nothing other than the thin filter to block the cold outside air from entering the house. Here's what happens: you set the thermostat, the room reaches that temp, the unit cycles off, then 30 seconds later it comes back on because so much c...Read more
old air starts pouring through the front of the unit immediately. We use it only in extremely cold temps--we just set the thermostat high and let it run continuously. As soon as we turn it off, we insulate the front of the unit and close the curtains. Not exactly what I was expecting or wanting, but we are making it work for this big, old, cold brick house. I emailed the manufacturer about this problem and they told me this was normal.

Luv my air conditioner!
I Installed this for my bedroom. It does a great job - cools the room very quickly and it is quiet. I don’t tend to use it to heat the room during winter. The remote control is easy to use. It also has an economy code which will save power.

Good Buy
I bought 2 units (2.5 kw) from Harvey Norman and their price which included a visa cash gift card was very competitive.
These are pretty stock standard units which operate quietly (heat or cool) and are of the generation of units that can allow the energy provider's control to reduce peak load on the grid if you accept their agreement (I think it was $100 cash). I didn't, I really want these working at 100% when they are needed rather than at a reduced capacity.
As I was picking them up from the warehouse I had a chat to an installer who was...Read more
picking up Panasonics and he told me they had better circuit protection from geckos crawling across the board and burning out the circuit. I didn't know about Panasonics but as I manage a building in S-E Qld we know geckos do this and it is a sometimes expense that is probably preventable with a corrosion inhibiting spray paint that is easy to apply to your circuit board and available at some specialty paint shops around here. (about $45 for a can) I sprayed the circuit boards. It is very easy, unscrew the top panel and you will find the boards easily accessible. Stock standard install is not so expensive for a typical house but shop around for an installer and you might save serious money. I saved $1000 (on install for 2) by going with my own people. The warranty is 5 years but you must use a registered installer and have the warranty card signed off . In my experience with airconditioners it is worth it to have the assurance of a big brand. The building I manage has Daiken, Fujitsu and LGs and from time to time we have had problems with all these brands, though as a commercial building, they run 5 days a week so you can expect a home unit to have a fairly long and trouble free life.

Great air conditioner.
No complaints with this air conditioner. It’s very quiet and easy to use. Standard controls with a useful timer so don't have to worry about on and off. Only thing is there is only swinging function for up and down not left and right like the bigger units which can be useful but not fully necessary for a small room.

Great unit for bedroom
Purchased this unit in May at a great price from Harvey Norman and was also able to take advantage of a $150 cash back offer which made it an even better buy.
The Air Con unit has been great through Winter and now coming into the Summer months, it's lovely and cooling. Nice and quiet, especially compared to our old unit, I would recommend to all.

Good Aircon
Bought this last year in the middle of the summer heat. Did do a great job of keeping the whole house cool. The multi functions makes this a great all purpose aircon. Able to go into quiet mode which is great for when you are trying to sleep. Great aircon overall.

Energy efficient but noisy
I put this unit in at the same time as we put a larger unit into the loungeroom. It is not a quiet unit, and I had to get Fujitsu out to look at it. Surprisingly, the larger unit in the lounge is quieter than the bedroom unit. It has been energy efficient during summer, when we flogged the a/c pretty hard. I was expecting a scary electricity bill, but Fujitsu is true to its word about energy rating. We've used it a bit to heat this winter, and it fills the room quickly and quietly. The unit is unobtrusive and the filters easy to clean. Would recommend, based on energy efficiency and appearance.

Brilliant product
These 2.5kw systems are in my bedrooms. The heating function takes the chill out of the air very quickly. The timer function allows me to set it so that when I go to bed at night, the room is toasty warm. This works in summer as well. I am very happy with how quiet they are. When outside you can barely hear the out door unit going. All of the controls are easy to use and set up. I love Fujitsu for air-cons.

A great addition for our home
The unit is very efficient when in heating mode - we haven't used for cooling as yet. It runs quietly and is unobtrusive. It was installed easily without fuss. The control is stylish, with most buttons behind a sliding cover. It is easy to use. The instruction manual is helpful and logically set out.

Keeping Warm
I purchased 2 of these units for the office from The Good Guys and found them to be fantastic. I find it heats the office quickly and we have used the timing function so the office's are warm when we arrive and then they turn off automatically at 5pm to prevent units being left on overnight and weekends,. Settings are easy to use. The only fault is the condenser unit is a little loud but it is directly above my office.

Perfect for our master bedroom
It's powerful, quiet and reliable. Outside unit is quiet as well. It being a reverse cycle means we can use it as a heater and ac which is perfect. There's also a plethora of options and timers you can configure and those work just as well. We love this unit!

Love love love!
We actually own 3 Fujitsu air-conditioners, we own 1 2.5kw, 1 5kw and 1 7kw system. They are quiet, they're energy efficient, they're sleek design makes them look good in any room. I love the sleep mode on them, if it's too hot or too cold when I'm going to sleep, I put it on a 30 minute sleep mode and I know that soon after I'm asleep, the unit will turn itself off. These are excellent air-conditioning units, I wouldn't get any other brand knowing these truly do serve us well.

Love it
I love the way it looks (very sleek not bulky yet powerful) when it opens up and slide down so modern and different from other bulky machines; quiet to run; it looks small but it quickly heats up/cool down the room; so far it does a good job and i am very happy with the purchase.

Very good Product
We had this installed in our home and its been 2 yrs and still works well. It is energy efficient. we purchased 3 of them. One of them is a bit noisy than the others and the reason being that it does not have a strong support at the bottom to hold it in place and can be re installed again. But we have been happy with the way it operates as it cools our house well in Summer and perfect during winter when it warms up our house.

did a good job for my room
Perfect solution for our remodeled game room. It was a previous 2 car garage and didn't have central heat/air ducts so it was so hot or cold we couldn't enjoy the room. We decided to remodel the room and this was a must have. I researched every mini-split system on the market and based on reviews this Pioneer system seemed to be the clear winner. I couldn't be happier and as other reviews state, if it weren't for the LED temp readout being on you couldn't even tell this thing is on. It is so quiet and so efficient that this room is now the most...Read more
comfortable room in our house. The room is 600 sq ft and we went with the 18K BTU and it seems to be perfect for the room. A smaller one probably would have been sufficient but I figured for the small price difference, it was better safe than sorry. You can't go wrong with this system and you won't be disappointed!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
