Nothing is better
Bought 2 of them. 1 for the bedroom and the other dor the living room. Both units run efficiently with auto cool function at 24degree Celsius. Run smoothly and quietly all night long. Very happy with my purchase. It's the best investment ever since Sydney temperature frequently reached 40 plus.

Great airconditioner, works a treat in our bedrooms.
Def happy with this aircon, have two installed in the bedrooms upstairs and they work well.
Installation was easy, although I obviously needed a electrician to install it and they fitted it perfectly where I wanted it to be installed.
Easy to use, easy to operate and doesn't take long for it to cool our bedrooms down in Summer.
Quite unit, and you can set it on auto to adjust to your comfort level. Outdoor unit is quite also.

short lived and messy to remove = not good value
good while running, i had one early mishap when mice got into the external unit and short circuited the wiring [why anyone would manufacture something vulnerable to this is beyond me, i can only consider that fujitsu consider these to be very disposable. i live alone, so this unit has not had a great deal of use, it died yesterday, cost 180.00 dollars for a refrigerant guy to tell me that the main circuit board has burnt out, as is a minor one also the fan motor has gone the same way. this is just in the external unit. he gave up then and told ...Read more
me' not worth fixing'. insurance tell me that they don't want to know about it. 3000.00 plus to replace. and i am not going there again. so considering cost of unit, running costs, life of unit, not good value and disappointing when i thought that i was buying a quality product. i am left going into winter with no heating.. oh, and expensive to have' decommissioned, not to mention the brickwork...Similar opinion? Good product with strong fan
This review is for the Fujitsu Spilt System Air Conditioner for indoor unit model ASTG30LF. The outdoor model is 8 KW cooling and 9 KW heating.
I like this product but I have to say that the main reason for buying this is that I need it for strong heat during the winter in a large living room area or open floor plan. This unit operates with an Inverter and the heating is a 'pump & heat' action.
The fan can also operate on Auto setting for economy but this reduces the fan speed to Low. There is also Quiet fan setting and this particular ...Read more
setting is a super quiet fan speed and very Low. I keep in mind that a very High fan speed setting of the Indoor unit is not quiet. The Outdoor unit is beside the window and is quiet. I hear a click sound now and then as the unit adjusts it self but that small click sound is not loud and not a problem to myself. I wanted to be sure that the outdoor unit is also not going to disturb my next door neighbour with noise - So no problems there. I had this air conditioner installed several days ago by a suggested qualified installer by Fujitsu. So yesterday I tested the Heat setting at 25ºC with the fan setting on High. And wow, this does push out heat with a powerful fan. The heat is nearly hot and it does produce the heat. So I've also tried the cooling setting with the fan set on High and it is also powerful. It is important to note that High fan speed is not available on all Heat or Cool settings of this unit but its sufficient for my needs. • The cooling and heating of most air conditioners is relative to the outside temperatures. Most Air Conditioning units such as split systems will operate on their own cycles in weather conditions as not to overheat the unit or so it operates effectively. Or if it is very cold outside, the unit will take a while to reach the desired indoor temperature setting.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fujitsu have lost the plot
I thought Fujitsu air conditioners we supposed to be a good brand but I had a split system installed in my room a year a go and have had nothing but problems with clicking noises, generally noisy and does not really cool my room on a hot day, which I installed an oversized system for the room size. Im now considering pulling it out and getting something else, I've had enough of it.
Update credit Fujitsu for sticking with me after the warranty period and issues with serviceman and parts to eventually fix the problems

Bad indoor tube connections
Installation a nightmare, tube from indoor unit dosen't even get through the wall cavity. Tube connections let go, re.Leaseing r 32 to atmosphere. Have rang fujitsu rep many times and left messages to call back. Am still waiting for reply( 8 weeks still refuses to call). This company will not be installing any astg 24's
Its a Fujitsu

Ordinary
I'm very unimpressed with this unit. It often takes 5-10 mins to get going properly and makes a lot of noise in the process. It even stops and starts on occasion. The 'quiet' setting isn't so quiet but the other settings are so noisy they are useless. The remote is cheap plastic and the batteries corroded after less than a yr. I bought it because I thought they were the best brand for air conditioners but don't believe that anymore!
The outside unit is small and fairly quiet.
Inside can be noisy and erratic

Worst Unit ever! DONT BUY
I've had the worst experience with this unit.
On day one, water was dripping down, damaging my carpets.
day two, it started making ticking noises everything i turned it on. Its loud but disappears after a few hours. And it happens randomly.
Worst part is Fujitsu wont fix it because everytime the technician comes the noise is not there. I've got VIDEOS to prove this but this is ignored!
It also has the worst remote ever. Have fun figuring how to set timer. You cant set a timer without the turning the aircon on! Really silly.
I don't have all the time in the world to take a day off everytime the technician wants to drop in. ...Read more
BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!!! QUIET if it works. Simple design poor service, worst remote in an aircon,3 comments
I sadly just bought one of these units without reading any reviews- big mistake! The unit is at 27 degrees on 'heat' and i'm freezing. Where did Fujitus get its good reputation from?
Chances are you guys have just got bad installers... there are few bad reviews and everyone else seems to have great things to say?
What model please?
