With our discussion to retire in the country after many years working in Adelaide we decided to build a new home on the block that we purchased some five years ago . We had a fair idea of what we wanted and when we sat with Meg and a slab layout was shown to us which suited what we required and the changes were so easy for Meg to present exactly what we wanted within the price range . Any issues were minor and dealt with without issue, this is the third home we have built and this one is by far the best quality, we love it . As for cost to the estimate any variation was our idea and pricing was reasonable, we ran a budget and it was easily met. We can only thank Meg, Rob and the team for the best home we have ever had .

We have been living in our new home for about a month now and we are loving it. The GJ Riverland team made the building process very easy. The whole build was a lot quicker then we initially had thought it would be. We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome! So glad we chose to build with GJ!

This build was mine and my fiances first build. Heidi kept updated weekly on the progress of the build. Britt was excellent to deal with in regards to the floor plan and selections. Rod's communication was excellent, he met us at the site quite often to discuss the happenings of the build. All our questions were answered well. During the build we hit a couple of issues with our soil report which meant we needed extra footings put into the concrete, and the septic needed extra work. But these were at no fault of GJ, it was simply where we chose to build! We admittedly went over our budget, but again no fault of GJ, we made many changes to the original plan :)

We chose GJ Gardner Homes Riverland due to the solid reputation of the professional & friendly team in the Renmark office, combined with the high quality local tradesman. They guided us through the minefield of options available these days for all parts of the build, including colour selections. We honestly couldn’t have done it without them & are thrilled with the final result.

The whole process was smooth and stress free from start to finish. Quality products and quality service. Any complications were solved quickly with a friendly chat and without issue. Change of mind or ideas were easy and staff offered small changes which has made all the difference. Final cost was nearly spot on! I chose to build with GJ as they had a good reputation. Right from my first consult to the end of completion, everything was handled professionally and with smiling helpful staff. I love everything about my new home. I stuck to a budget and the team at GJ were helpful in ideas and ways to stick to my budget. I'm very happy with the workmanship, looks better then I imagined. It was our first time building and we found GJ Gardner Naracoorte/ Mount Gambier to be incredibly helpful. They were able to accomodate all of our ideas whilst suggesting new ones and able to fit a plan around our needs and within budget. As first time home builders, we found that the entire project was well managed by great staff at Renmark. We chose them because of their friendliness and welcoming approach. We would like to thank GJ Gardner Homes Riverland for building our new home. From the very beginning of a dream to the beautiful reality; all of the team helped us in a professional and caring manner. The build was managed very well and we feel we were involved every step of the way. We were always given indication of when things would be happening next in the process. We had a unique situation with our land subdivision which GJ helped a lot to have it moving forward. We had to wait for our slab for a little longer than we hoped and there were a few hold ups at the beginning of the build but we were in a hurry due to the pending birth of our first born, otherwise the customer care was second to none. Helen in the front office was absolutely incredible, she helped to ease my mind on a daily with any concerns. I can't explain enough how amazing she was to deal with. Sam was extremely helpful throughout the build process and we felt lucky to have his ongoing care. If I built again I would not hesitate to choose GJ once more. Amber

Everything [name removed] said and more. Couldn't make building a house any more difficult. Extremely unethical conduct regarding the timing and demands for progress payments to be made, issuing of stop works notice without justification and threats to charge interest. I also had to waste money on a lawyer. Heaps of things remain unfinished on my home and they never fixed the maintenance defects, even though hand over was some time ago. I communicated all this to GJ head office along the way and they never got back to me on any of it.

Right from the start of the process with planning the build through to the hand over the GJ Gardner team were great. The home we have is just what we envisaged.
