watch HINO WARRANTY Guys its Doggie
purchased a brand new HINO truck and sent it to its first service at 29000 km .
I was complaining about the breaks been noise and after they checked it they found out that front breaks were finished...? At 29000km
rear breaks were still 7ml left
I then claimed warranty on faulty breaks and got declined,
Then I called FAIR TRADING and the SMALL BUSINESS COMMISSIONER OF NSW they haven't even bother answering their calls.
My next option to go to tribunal to solve the issue.
Anyone out there driving brand new HINO STREET SMART TRUCK that's what they call it, WATCH your breaks

Over priced, over rated and over them.
My truck went in for the warranty replacement of the airbag and a standard 60k service.
The cost of the service was nearly $1700 which was 3 times the previous service. I was also told that the air bag was replaced.
3 months later I received a letter to say that the airbag still required replacement. Adtrans Hino could not find any record of the airbag being completed even though that is what it went in for.

Disgraceful experience
Being the owner of a small transport business took the plunge in 2017 to buy a brand new Hino 500 series. When the truck was delivered from Sydney I was told to meet the Adtrans employer at Gosford in the afternoon, when I explained I had just finished work and would be in soon he told me to “not pull myself off too long” as he had to get back to Sydney asap !! That employer was dismissed but that’s only the start, there were problems with the pantech body eg leaking roof, holes not drilled for walkboard, toolbox couldn’t be opened, clips to ho...Read more
ld rear barn doors were faulty and didn’t work, walkboard broke due to bad welding within 5 months etc etc this list goes on and on, when I told them of these problems it was up to me to go and sort it out with truck body builder but they had already gone into liquidation and then was told it’s not a Hino problem!! This is a brand new truck with a 1 year warranty on the body that means absolutely nothing, after numerous emails and getting nowhere I went to the top and all I got was a heated conversation about my word vs there’s and the truth is somewhere between ( my point being the proof is in the truck but they just brushed me off)so after a year of trying to rectify these problems ended up with me having to pay out of pocket to get this truck functional, eventually I spat it and told them I’d never be back to Adtrans, so now I get it serviced at a different dealership ( not Adtrans), now 2 years old and 80000kms on the clock has an engine oil leak!!! It’s under warranty and they are going to fix it but is very concerning since the truck is near new and and has only been drivin by the owner operator ME, when I questioned the leak apparently it’s common and usually happens around 120000 kms!!!!, it’s a new designed 5 cylinder engine obviously with teething problems, there is so much stuff I have left out but just wanted to write a review about my experience with Hino, they have the sales pitch but at the end of the day there sneaky salesman all about $$$ with bad customer service, the truck body builders they source are the cheapest they can find and you will be left to pick up the pieces, if I had my time again Hino would be my last choice behind UD, FUSO and ISUZU,Similar opinion? The reason we hate car salesmen
Mascot, NSW
So after much consideration research and time we decided to go with Adtrans for our Hino 300 616 tradeace.
What a nightmare!!!!! At the time of writing, we are STILL waiting on our new truck which has been paid for in full for the past MONTH! Excuses range from the truck is part of a backorder to our delivery trucks are running behind to its at the warehouse getting "put together". What the... Adtrans??? So many excuses for a basic run of the mill vehicle and they have made this experience extremely stressful. This truck alleged...Read more
