Service
The fine print caused some concern in regards to the application of the drinks package. Our drinking preferences are different to each other meaning having to have the same package required some personal adjust meant.
The Cabin allocation was a most pleasant surprise - Deck 10 - terrific.
I spoke with a few of your Staff as well as Vanessa over the last few months. All were patient with my sometimes cranky comments, which I apologise for, and ultimately went out of their way to calm me down and provide sound, sensible answers.
The wait time on the phone exceeded an hour, and was about 90 minutes get a hot ear. While an extended delay was advised due to the Coronavirus it was still a very long time.

Refund due to cruise cancellation.
Due to the cancellation of our cruise due to coranavirus, a full refund of the entire package was promptly received from Cruise Cafe. If we had not booked a Package (cruise, airfares and hotels) we would have had to do battle with the Airline and Hotels ourselves.

amazing results given
on 18Feb at 10am I went to Perth office very very unhappy with how I had been treated by various people at Imagine. THEN I MET BECKY, within minutes she had listened to all the problems I had had and set to work to FIX THEM. Astonished to find the dump of a hotel I had been booked into Becky began to get results. By the time I left at 11.30 I was an extremely happy person, wonderful hotel reservation, pickup from airport was in place and escort to hotel arranged, apologies given for the people that had not called me back.

I would stay well clear of Imagine Cruising
We booked a combined Mediterranean Cruise and Swiss Lakes tour with Imagine Cruise and regretted it within months. Firstly they charge you exorbitant deposits ($6000 ) for these cruises/tours that are well above the deposit you would need to pay if you booked these tours directly with Norwegian Cruise Lines or the Italian Rail Tour suppliers. Imagine cruising make these deposits non-refundable and use that to then treat you in an appalling manner.

us an extra $1000 for the different date and $2000 for the transfer. They tend to treat a transfer as a cancellation. I objected because we were well before the times where their suppliers would charge for any transfer. As long as you changed 120 days prior to departure the Imagine Cruising suppliers would not charge you a transfer fee. Yet Imagine Cruising insisted that we pay $3000 extra and refused to provide any proof that this was what their suppliers were charging. The fee just coincidently happened to be the cost of the next highest fare. In the end, Imagine cruising stopped using the term cancellation fee when I pointed out we were well within their own terms and conditions and started using terms like "You won't have enough money in your account" to be able to proceed. There is just no transparency with their dealings even when you comply with the contract terms. With some of the suppliers such as NCL you can book a cruise for a $100 deposit, not $6000. Despite objecting to what I felt was extortion they refused to listen to anything I said. They treated us like we had no legal rights! I explained that I would be taking this to Fair Trading. Fair Trading is a toothless tiger but the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal were not and made a judgement in my favour requiring the company to refund all monies paid. If Imagine Cruising think they have you over a barrel you would be wise to use the Civil and Administrative Tribunal in your state to get a result. So all the people who have complained on review sites about Imagine Cruising not refunding their deposits should register with VCAT, NCAT QCAT or the tribunal in their state and for a pensioner this just costs about $14.00 Another issue is that Imagine Cruising also have their own Terms & Conditions and then require that you sign a second contract with Norwegian Cruise Lines and then NCL have third level contracts with every supplier for each day-tour that you use during the cruise. This means you have to provide your credit card details before NCL will even let you board the ship and their T& Cs give them carte blanche to charge you whatever they like including extra fuel costs, port charges, day trips etc etc. Even when the Imagine Cruising advertising states that you don't have to pay these fees you still have to sign the NCL contract saying you will.2 comments

We were on the Vasco Da Gama where the Cruise was cancelled 6 days after departure. We were returned to Perth. CMV has promised a full refund to be paid through Imagine Cruising. Our experience with Imagine Cruising prior to the cruise was one where we had to chase them for information. However, when we did they always got back to us. Nevertheless, from the cruise, through our quarantine in Perth and finally, our flight back to NSW Imagine Cruising kept us up to date and worked very hard to support our repatriation. We were very impressed with this. I would advise that you keep contacting them to ensure that your cruise is, indeed, happening.
Hi Martin, our flights from Brisbane have been cancelled and NCL have suspended all cruises until July, so I’m fairly sure we’re not going anywhere, my issue is we’ll be forced to take cruise credits and not given the option for a full refund
