Comprehensive, Essential, Last Minute, etc...Waste of money. Go elsewhere
Policy was not worth a cent. Tried to submit a claim for a cancelled flight which in turn cost us a day on our trip and added expenses for accommodation. After continued calls and unresponsive emails The claim was rejected. Waste of time and money. Never again.

Dodgy ing insurance company
Pls stay away from Ing Insurance one of the dodgiest company,they will find Any reason to cancel the claim. Shame on you. They will find any reason to cancel claim

TRAVEL INSURANCE - Lack of empathy
DO NOT TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY WITH ING. We have been overseas on what started as a holiday to visit family. Not long after arriving, our mother had a serious heart issue and was sent to hospital for emergency valve surgery. The surgery failed and she has been fighting for her life in acute care for three months. We had to change our flights to be with her until she recovers or passes away. We provided evidence from the hospital doctors and simply wanted some financial help to survive all of this - but they are pointing to a ridiculous policy gap regarding where our mother resides! What amounts to a drop in the ocean to them, would be a life saving amount to us during this horrible time. The Travel Insurance product that's a front for a much worse Insurance Company, Auto & General/Allianz
We didn't know on purchasing this policy, doing so by ING's customer portal, that their insurance products are managed by Auto & General \ Allianz \ A&G. and even to today we don't know which company we're dealing with in every call.
We've since had the worst experience of any insurance by far, having to make a claim for stolen luggage on the way back to the airport we we're flying out of.

ng all the documents they need only to be stuffed around with dates, settlement amounts, excuses and poor customer service. Would strongly recommend you choose a provider that is actually known for good service and good business, not the complete opposite. Go for Auspost or 1Cover instead.Similar opinion?
