Excellent to clean air.
Bought it during the smoke from bushfires. Had a smaller one but it wasn’t on wheels. This is easy to move around and very efficient. Also have used to move air around in hot weather.

I love this Australian Made + Owned Air Filter
We have had out E20 air filter for over 12 months now. My mum has purchaed one and now two of my friends have purchased one. This company is amazing and I have dealt with the owner Shelley on numnerous ocassions as she has had to field many questions from me regarding the capabilities of the filter. It is unbelieveable how much dust this machine sucks in! We unfortunatley have a dusty home and this has been a game changer. With a product that works, is high quality, Aussie made and owned... and with an owner who is patient, kind and helpful - you cannot go wrong! Highly recommend! For mould, smoke, dust - and even viruses and just to have clean air! Worth the money. Oh and no cheap plastic components!
Purchased in April 2021 for $1,795.00.

Too expensive and filter lasted only one month
I bought this DE20 because it was advertised to last a long time before needing to change filters. However, just after using for a month, the filter needs changing. It started to smell funny. I contacted them and was told it's based on usage. I live in a small apartment and rarely cook, I don't have pets and I clean everyday so I cannot understand why my filters need changing after a month of usage. Granted, I live next to the main road, but still, one month seems far fetched when filters cost $600 to replace.
I was told if I buy the filters a...Read more

What a beast !
Purchased this to the bushfire smoke that engulfed Canberra for much of this summer. The company bent over backwards to deliver this, as it arrived at least two weeks before I was expecting it. So hats off to them.
Compared with the temporary purifier which I'd bought initially, it's a super solid piece of kit. I get the impression that it will last many years.
The staff were super helpful when I rang them.
On stinking out days, I typically used it in conjunction with my reverse cycle ducted, and stuck the unit just below the return air, so...Read more
that the clean air is pushed into the return air and then out my 4 ducts. This seems to work pretty well. When I went to work, I'd take it downstairs and stick in the hallway. The only downside is that it is noisy, especially on high setting. However, I think it has to be in order to pull in all the air.I should also qualify that by saying that I am a very light sleeper, my wife's breathing wakes me up so I am sensitive to noise at the best of times.Purchased in January 2021 for $1,640.00.

Excellent air purifier for bushfire smoke
I purchased the E20 for my house to reduce the risk of exposure to bushfire smoke, particularly for my two children. I purchased the E20 to complement the E8 unit which I also purchased to address the air quality throughout my entire house as I live in an area badly affected by bushfire smoke. I mainly run the E20 in the living areas and the smaller E8 unit near bedrooms of my house at night, but also during the day when the smoke is a problem. I have decided to leave a review because the E20 is excellent for removing fine particulate and the ...Read more
smell associated with smoke. To deal with the smoke risk I was previously using a reverse cycle air conditioner on recirculate and a Dyson purifier but being an engineer I wanted to test the fine particulate measures using an air quality measurement tool and found that I was still exposing my family to dangerous fine particulate. That is when I decided to purchase a proper air purifier and after extensively researching the market I purchased the E20 for my living areas and the E8 for bedrooms and couldn’t be happier because it has reduced the level of fine particulate to a safe level and removed the smell as well. Also as an engineer I am very impressed with the design and build quality, not too often these days to get a product manufactured in Australia.Purchased in December 2021.

Fixed my asthma and dusty apartment air
I have severe asthma at home and at work. Hits hardest at night when trying to sleep.
I've picked this purifier today and within hours I have seen an amazing improvement in my breatheability. I haven't used a puffer and my airway feels relaxed for the first time indoors in decades.
It's got an incredible lineup of features. I've posted the chart with my other photo of the E20 Plus.
It has what's appears to be commercial filtration including Hepa13 (hospital grade+), with two other filters that I can see. Two of the three filters have a 5 year life. It's sealed, lightweight metal construction and wheels around. It's got a dial at the back and on low settings I can't hear it. Perfect coverage of 100m2.
Purchased in December 2021 for $1,595.00.

Average for price
I purchased this air purifier after a lot of research to remove the musty smell from my bedroom/reduce smoke that comes into our house from the neighbours. It does work to remove some smells but it adds it's own smell into the room which I can't stand. It's a sweet heavy smell not fresh air as others have suggested. This has happened from day 1 (had it for 6 months now) and I can't sleep with it on because I wake up feeling sick from the stuffy smell. Apparently this is due to the 'carbon filter'. At this point some nights I'd prefer to have th...Read more

Although I believe it works to remove the smoke, this smell and the fact that I wake up feeling more allergic after using it compared to when I sleep with the windows open, I don't think it's worth the money! I hope this helps someone to reconsider spending the money if they are chosing between a few purifyers.Purchased in April 2021 for $1,700.00.

in your review the majority of users describe it as a 'clean" fresh smell. It is very effective in removing stuffy odours along with volatile organic compounds, smoke and general chemical pollutants including road pollution. We do have a different type of impregnated activated carbon blanket filter which is made from coal based carbon instead of coconut shell and is designed for light duty applications, where the 6kg carbon filter you have is for heavy duty removal. I believe that this product helped heal my daughter's Asthma.
My daughter had Asthma when we bought the InovaAir AirClean E20 Plus in October 2016. We supported our daughter with GP prescribed natural supplements and installed the AirClean in our upstairs hallway, after having taken it through the house a few times in different areas. When we first turned it on, it was like fresh mountain air had taken over. Quite incredible. The unit runs 24/7. At night we turn it down to the lowest setting and during the day we ramp it up and open the windows of the house to let fresh air in. The noise level at night is...Read more
very comfortable - minimal, you can hardly hear it. Within a few months, my daughter's Asthma cleared completely. I personally subscribe this to the InovaAir AirClean E20, perhaps in combination with the natural supplements my daughter takes. I use all 3 filters (6kg Carbon Inner + H13 HEPA Outer + the white pre-filter on the outer edge), and when I swap the pre-filter every 6-12 months orso, it is PACKED with grey dust. I am yet to reach the point where the inside filters need swapping, that only needs to be done very 3-5 years. Well done InovaAir! I stand for their product. Besides this, the customer service has been more then excellent. Truly a great company, great product, and great team. Thank you & God bless. -- Roel Van de PaarPurchased in October 2021.

E20 AirClean the best air cleaner but!!
No doubt this air purifier does as it is intended. After six years of using the E20 it is has been excellent. The only down side is the cost of the pre filter at $50 a pop they only last 3 months in my case. I would suggest that this is their life in any situation an air purifier is deemed necessary in spite of the manufactures claim of 6 months. I am looking for an alternative pre filter material to make my own as their is a limited market for a third party to manufacturer to make and market as such.

Fantastic filter
Purchased the E20 and absolutely love it. Great quality unit, all steel construction and long life filters. The air smells really clean and I am definitely sneezing much less. At first I found it a little loud at night but I got used to it after only a couple of nights and now hardly notice it. It actually makes my tinnitus less bothersome as it is a really gentle ‘white noise’. Am going to move this unit into the living room and buy two smaller E7 units for the bedroom.

Best air purifier on the market
After doing very thorough research and getting a recommendation from a healthcare professional I trust I was led to the InovaAir AirClean E20. I am so pleased I took the time to do the research as the product that was recommended to me at a leading household whitegoods store doesn't even do the job that it is supposed to as an air purifier. A great solid and efficient unit
An excellent and well built unit. Has made a big difference to my home in a coal city. Now it's nearly 4 years old, the only thing I've done is to replace the pre-filters each 6 months as recommended and with an occasional vacuum of the exterior. It is clearly working efficiently as you can see the dust the filters have collected. The unit runs all the time on a medium speed - in my living area it is mostly not noticeable. A solid unit that works efficiently. My hay-fever has improved and the house smells fresh. Excellent!

Life changing product!
Was a bit of skeptic when it came to air purifiers but decided to give it a go on recommendation from a friend who already owns one. I initially purchased the E8 system for my daughter’s bedroom as she is asthmatic and we live close to Sydney CBD so the air quality isn’t great. The difference it made was incredible, her reliance on medication has reduced significantly. A month later we purchased the E20 Plus and this system is now covering the rest of our apartment. We can also see less dust on our furnishings, the air has a noticeable fresher smell, it’s hard to explain but our apartment doesn’t feel as stuffy and has lost that "Urban, city smell". Overall a great Aussie company to deal with, couldn’t be happier!

Disappointing to say the least.
I purchased two of these (E20 Plus) for a small three bedroom home.
After six weeks the air flow reduced quite a lot, so I checked the pre filter
and it had about two centimetres thick of dirt on them. I replaced the pre-filters and six to seven weeks later the same thing happened. I was told by the company to look at six months before changing them before I purchased the units. This has proven to be incorrect in my case. At $50+ a pre-filter this works out to be $800 a year to change the pre-filters, this is ridicules. In the same week as I ...Read more

n the surface area of the pre-filter, you accumulated 6.84 litres of dust per system in 6 weeks or 1.14 litres per week. Double this over the 2 systems combined results in approx. 2 basketballs of dust or 8 vacuum cleaner bags. InovaAir E20 Plus (with 6kg carbon)
I bought the unit (E20 Plus with 6kg of activated carbon) hoping it will get rid of smoke from incense and cigarette (coming from the neighbour) but it’s not quick enough to clear the air and get rid of smell. For a 20sqm room, it takes about 1hr (running on full speed) to notice the difference. By that time, we already have inhaled a lot of the smoke. Although still better than nothing.
I don’t mind the noise but for some, it can be noisy on full speed.

Be assured, these are great
It's that time of year. Out of hibernation comes our InovaAir E20 air purifier. We have had this unit for at least five years now and it has provided us terrific service. The previous owners of our home had gas bayonets (LPG) installed so we naturally purchased a gas heater. Never having had a gas appliance before we naively purchased an unflued unit. ffects of these heaters and began to research our options. Although the unit was around the $1500 mark it was the most economical option for us at the time, even if we were gambling on it achieving a satisfactory outcome. We not only have the Hepa filters but the optional Carbon filter which is the key to removing the toxic pollutants created by the burnt gas. A quick light Dyson of the pre filter a few times a season is the only maintenance I perform and the main filters are still fine to the best of my knowledge. The control knob failed within the warranty period and the factory were helpful and the machine was returned and repaired satisfactorily. I cannot speak highly enough of this machine. So simple. There are 3 airlets that in my case build up bit of dog hair thats to big to pass thru which i brush off with my hand or vacuum every now and then.
In terms of filters themselves all you gotta do is undo 2 latches, lift up casing from base and replace outer prefilter ( velcro) which from memory is around every six months. Filters themselves just lift out. So easy
Very easy, unclip cover and replace pre-filter, cuts down on dusting elsewhere too as it's all trapped, not recirculating.
Very simple. Just unclip, remove the pre-filter and dispose of it, take the carbon filters out (just lift up), vacuum it out a bit, then place new pre-filter in. Every 3-5 years the carbon filters need replacing, and that's even easier - get them out and swap them. Easy.

Hi Pseudonorm,
Unfortunately there appears to be a misunderstanding with how the filters work in your system, please see below for further clarification: ... Read more
The 6kg carbon filter in your system has been saturated which is why it started to smell. If you have not saturated the filter from smoke exposure due to the bushfires I would be concerned that you have high levels of VOC's in your apartment as it takes a significant exposure to use up a filter as large as 6 kilograms. No other other air purifier on the Australian market has a filter of this capacity and we are proud to supply a quality system which is able to be effective in filtering both VOC's and smoke -most air purifiers only contain a few grams of activated carbon. As noted on our website filter life depends on actual usage and exposure to dust and chemicals. From your review the only filter which needed changing was the 6kg carbon filter. So not sure why all of the filters where “tossed” out unnecessarily, when you only needed to change the carbon filter. While we do offer discounts from time to time on replacement filters to existing customers, we do not offer 1/2 price filters, all filters are handmade in Australia from steel casings and are expensive to manufacture. The carbon filter is $195 to replace and on average from thousands of customers in our database most get approx. 2-3 years of service life running 24/7. Please see the following filter maintenance guide for further information https://inovaairpurifiers.com.au/pages/filter-maintenance-guide Regards InovaAir
