Easy Travel Insurance
Itrek gave me easy affordable travel insurance. It was very easy to obtain online, it was clear in letting you know what type insurance you were paying for and I will use it again next time I go travelling outside of Australia. Thanks Itrek.

Easy to use and cheap
I didn't have to claim but found iTrek to be the cheapest travel insurance option I could find. Also they had plenty of options for cover and the site was easy to use.

Very easy process
I like the way that the different insurance types are compared when choosing which level of cover to go for. It was clear and easy to read. I have not needed to make a claim, but the buying process was very easy.

Rates are good
I have found that Itrek always seems to have the best or close to the best premium of all the travel insurance companies. Also occasionally they send me special offers which I appreciate. Their terms and conditions are reasonably easy to understand. I have never had a claim so I do not know whether they are good or bad to deal with in this regard.

safer than sorry
Happy to say we didn't need to use our insurance, but is always safer to have some, We found ours on line and at a reasonable cost, will look at using itrek again and recommend to others.

Great So Far
I've used these guys three times and I've had a good experience so far.
I made a claim after being delayed due to a blizzard and was reimbursed accommodation expenses.
Just make sure with any insurance policy that you *read the fine print* and take the steps indicated.
(eg. I had to get a letter from the airline confirming the delayed flight. I was informed after the fact by the insurance agent, and it wasn't difficult to get the documentation from the airline, but I have noticed lots of people saying that new insurance policies with othe...Read more

Travel Insurance
Last September (2012) I travelled to Micronesia (Chuuk) on a dive trip but was unfortunate to become ill. I found iTrek great in dealing with my claim and ensuring I receive the medical help needed, thanks iTrek. I was so satisfied with the service I will use this company again this year (2013) for my trip

Hi Daniela,
Unfortunately, iTrek do not have a policy that would appear to suit your insurance needs, as it is an Australian based company.
However, our sister company 1Cover Travel Insurance offers an 'Already Overseas' policy. Please note, that to qualify for this policy you must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen and your trip must end in Australia, not Colombia.

I am a UK citizen who has been leaving in Australia for the best year. I need insurance for travelling home. On the way back i will be in Malaysia for 10 days and in Nepal for three weeks. Who would i best insuring myself with that cover trekking but also cover a non-Australian resident?
