I tried to write a bad review and not even that worked would never recommend this company or any companies affiliated with itrek. Had to call more than 4 times to get anyone to even look at my claim that I was not covered even with a police report and the contact details of the hostel my belongings where stolen from due to a locked hostel room apparently being classified as a public place, also any cash stolen has to be physically stolen off you for it to be cover. Overall disgusted in the experience.

I like to know that my daughter has a comprehensive insurance policy when she travels, which is often! I am happy to choose iTrek and have used them many times now.

this was the cheapest cover that i found that covered all of what i needed including lost or damaged passport and phone. Will deffently use again on my next trip

Couldn't leave home without it. Simple efficient and by far the best policy system any young person travelling could ask for. Pricing is perfect and appeals to anyone that wants to go overseas.

Easy policy to understand. Nice choice of policies. Seemed good value for the coverage. Included transfer of remains in the event of death. Easy to buy online.

Didn't need to make a claim but great that skiing was included in the product for no extra charges. I just need medical and this fitted the bill. Definitely recommended and will use again.

Fortunately I did not have to use travel insurance on this trip, but I found that iTrek gave some good value choices to customise my insurance needs around the sort of trip I was to make. Many areas covered by others I di not need, so I could reduce the cost by selecting just what I needed. It was easy to buy online, so I will be using them next time.

I am always happy with the staff when I call up . They speak english and are always very nice and helpfull. The price is much cheaper then others that is why I keep coming back .

Buying on line was easy. Thankfully I did not need to claim and therefore I can't rate - the proof is in the pudding if you need to claim. This review needs an option of Not Applicable such as in my case.

I stated I was travelling Iran and paid premium. Policy wording excluded Iran, then had to pay an additional $100 approximately for cover. Attitude was poor by staff. Attitude was take it or leave it.

This is the second time I have used itrek and they are cost effective and purchasing insurance is simple and easy. The claim I had was handled quickly without a hassle. I do have another claim pending on my latest trip but this should be just as easy to get sorted.

Easy to purchase and provided cover we needed. Chosen because of other reviews and was not disappointed. Price was very competitive for older travellers. Will consider using them again when travelling again.

I have used ITrek for quite a few years now. Unfortunately a few trips back I had to make a claim after an unforeseen accident and iTrek handled my claim promptly and efficiently. I won't use any other Travel Insurance other than iTrek when I Travel now due to their professionalism.

Had $3500 our possessions stolen from car in Italy.

Claim denied as 'the incident did not occur during day light hours'.

I will go to ombudsmen.

I love the quick and easy buying policy on line and price is great too. We have used iTrek for the last 5 or so years and will use them in the future too.

Half the price of any other travel insurance company, have been using them for the last couple of years. Really easy website & level of cover is simple to understand.*.no nonsense*...insurance is also underwritten by certain underwriters at Lloyd's.

I really can't comment on any claim issues as we have never had the need too...but I trek`s pricing is the best in Australia.

Best priced travel insurance that I could find which covered all the potentials that were possible in my travel. This appeared to be a down to Earth, practical cover policy for all the situations a normal traveler could experience.
