Great from start to finish
After considering renovating our existing house we contacted Mark King and discussed the feasibility of knocking down our house and replacing it with a custom built house. Mark's advice could not have been more honest and accurate. Using King Homes to design and build our new home was a great decision. Mark and all his staff (including contractors) were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The quality of the materials and workmanship that went into the build was first rate. After living in the house now for just over 12 months, we are glad we built with King Homes.

Honest and helpfull
After been played around from 2 other builders we went to see King homes in Emerald Hills. The guys there have been very helpful from the very first moment we started. They helped us with advices and also in making our custom design plans. Our house plans ended up with exactly what we wanted and to our surprise also well within our budget.
We have accepted our final tender and moving to our contract.
Thank you guys and hoping that our building journey will continue to be pleasant just as it has been this far.

Built with King and moved in June 2018.
I purchased a block of land that was just slightly narrower than what all the volume builders considered “regular” width/frontage and therefore saw my choice of house designs limited to single garage or double story (totally out of character for the street and not what I was after)

Quality home as promised- Highly recommend King Homes NSW
My partner and I began working with King homes to build our home. From the beginning we could tell that King Homes were honest and genuinely cared about their clients, which was non-existent from all the other builders we visited. The team at King Homes were happy to adjust all our plans as necessary until we achieved the plans we wanted. Nothing appears to hard for them.

David was approachable and was always there to answer those dumb, first time builder questions. The quality of the home that King Homes NSW built for us cannot be faulted. Everything that the team promised they delivered. Whilst there were a few minor defects here and there, but they were all fixed during the warranty period without any dramas whatsoever. If you’re looking for an honest, reliable and affordable builder to build your dream home talk to these guys.

Real promise with no fuss
Mark the king of king homes does what he talks.He is really a man of his word. He was absolutly confident of making my lot as zero lot where I have used all my space wisely where as some other very known builder didnt even wanted to take my project.

Mark and his team are great and always look forward to see their customer all the time. I remember when we met first time with Mark, he came with us to see our plot, if plot was good to build the house even he do not Know us and we did not pay him single penny.
Then we thought to go with him and build our dream house which he made it happen within the time frame and we did not have any issue.

Highly recommend King Homes
After searching high and low to find a builder that would build our narrow lot home under our budget, we stumbled across King Homes. I wrote to them in a Sunday night and quickly got a response within a few minutes from the Owner Mark, to my delight. ir *budget homes*. Once our build started and the inclusions they offered it definitely did not look like a *budget home*. Even a friend of mine who paid over $100k more than us to build with another local builder was shocked at what was given to us as standard inclusions. The selection process was also conducted with the owners wife which was fantastic and highly professional. We had a few hiccups with handover however this was quickly rectified and the owner also came out for our handover to ensure we were totally satisfied. I would build with King Homes again. Great Experience from the Start - Would Build with Again
Being in the building industry myself, I was very picky when it came to who I was going to choose to build my first home. Right from the start, it was a great experience and a pleasure dealing with Mark King. Mark was very switched on and accommodating right from the get-go. es made a breeze of a process), the build started. Throughout the whole building process, we were constantly updated with photos, progress emails and phone calls. Our Project Manager/Site Manager we had on this project really made us feel as if we were the only house being built by King Homes. The experience we had was very personal and we always felt important and included throughout the whole building process. After completing our single story, 4 bedroom house in just 18 weeks, we were able to get the keys and move in. King Homes was very organised when it came to the walk through/defect stage. They always had a list with photos which we would tick off as we went along to make sure all of the outstanding items were rectified as soon as possible. As a builder, I know that there will always be defects and items which will need to be rectified as it's all part of the process. What separates the GREAT builders from the ordinary builders is how promptly the builder will respond/rectify any issues which I must admit, King Homes was VERY good at and did extremely well.1 comment

Half way through our build with King homes
We were looking for a builder for a long time. Back and forth to display homes every weekend. We did visit King homes a while back but ended up signing with another builder. It came down to money for us. Anyways, turned out we didn't end up saving anything because there were lots of holes and gaps in our contract. We were able to get out of it for next to nothing and went back to King homes about 3 months later. The team were very patient with us coming back to them and we got our design underway. back and forth because we wanted to change a few things on their standard home design and also our block has a slope towards the back. This isn't our first home so we know exactly what we want so probably why we took longer getting the design right. This was the hardest part of the process. Once we got that figured out, the team have been great in looking after us. We are cautious because of previous experiences with other home builders but we have felt very comfortable so far. We have built a home before about 10 years ago so we know what to expect and how things happen. The team have been good in organising our colours and getting us underway. We appreciate the updates from the office of how we are going and we feel the entire team is working in getting our home built. Our home is at lock-up stage and it did go up very quickly in comparison to the rest of our street which we are grateful for. Building a home isn't easy for anyone but we are glad we made the choice to build with King Homes. It was the most value for money in the end and we are happy with the level of inclusions and how much we spent for our upgrades. We can't fault the process this far and I have to say the hardest most stressful part for me was the beginning sorting out the design, contracts, finance etc but that's all done now. From the initial design process, during construction to the finished masterpiece we could not be happier with the experience.

Communication was excellent there were no surprises and he was happy to answer all of our questions ( even though we probably asked them 100s of times) During our final walkthrough with Mike - we made a list of things that needed to be fixed up prior to handover ( we really didnt think He could get everything done ) but to our surprise everything little thing on the list was fixed up and we were ready to go. Fantastic build in record time!
I built my double story house this year with king homes nsw and I was impressed with every part of the build. From the sale with the sales team, they worked to get everything I could get within my budget.
During the pre-construction stage, they assisted me with every single query I asked. I did my internal colours and external colours and the team that worked with me was very professional and very attentive to making my home come to life.

construction, my site supervisor updated me weekly and I got photos showing me where my house is at. I got to go to site with the supervisor to see what was happening after each major stage. The workmanship was impeccable and I could not fault it. Once we had a PC walk, there were a couple issues, which were noted down and fixed by hand over. On handover, the house was clean and ready to move into. The construction manager did notice a few things and they were fixed within 2 weeks after handover. I would like to say a big thank you to all the team at King Homes NSW for providing me with a quality home. Their communication and expertise is faultless and I would recommend to anyone.1 comment

Alert!!!!! Miserable Builder make your life hell cheap products cheap services highly wont recommend to any body for god sake. Very bad experience Moving to Fair Trading any way don't be the victim even they offer letter box for the good review and they trick you to cover miserable services.

We really did enjoy building your home and take pride in the workmanship we provide as well as the quality products we use. Your home was handed over in March 2018 being over 18 months ago and you were extremely pleased with the home we delivered. Recently, you did get in touch with our maintenance team in regards to your kitchen. As we pride ourselves on quality, we promptly organised an inspection with ourselves and the kitchen manufacturer. As discussed with you, water damage to some kitchen panels was found however this was due to the external panels being exposed to excessive water and not in line with the care guidelines. Unfortunately, exposing laminate to excessive water has caused damage over the course of the last 18 months. This was also reviewed by Polytec, Australia's leading laminate supplier, which is the material used for your kitchen. We are a small family owned business, who strive to deliver quality homes. Whilst we understand that it is upsetting that you will need to repair the damaged panels; it is unfair that you should expect this to be at our expense. We do want to help you get the kitchen back to the way it was when we delivered home and we have worked with our manufacturer to offer you the repairs at a heavily discounted cost. I would like thank to Mark and his team especially David our site supervisor. My 4 Bed single story house built in record 15 weeks time. David and Mark work hard to finalise the House before Christmas Break. And they did it. There was some bits and pieces needed to clarify but King Homes handled them perfectly.
