A well crafted time-saving vacuum stick!

published

I can't believe I have lived without this vacuum stick before now! Once you try a stick you can't ever imagine lugging a machine around, let alone plugging it in and re-plugging it multiple times! Vacuuming is so quick and so effortless, particularly stairs. Supplying 2 batteries is also a really smart idea (sorry Dyson).

Engineer's review: works great, well built.

published

NB: Surging/hunting motor is the vacuum telling you it's clogged. If you have this issue, clean the filters and remove any obstruction in the nozzle. Simple.

This vacuum has been fantastic!

Breathing problems

published

If you have problems with breathing, try before you buy, the exhaust air blown out of unit and up to your face, air is filtered, but not 100%, small amount of fine dust is ready for you to filter. Unit should blow down and away. Chance you breath in would be less.

Motor surges

published

Have had this vacuum for 7 months but now the motor surges or revs. I would not recommend it based on this problem which LG needs to address. Very handy and easy to use. Does a good job on carpet for a quick clean but does not replace a barrel vacuum for a thorough job.

Works great! Battery lasts fine

published

At first I was unsure about buying this because our house is all carpet, but after several uses it performs great. I find I don't need to use the turbo feature much as it does a fine job as it is. I love all the extra attachments and haven't need to use the second battery yet which is great.

Also works great on tiles and the sofa too with the extra attachment. I got the care kit which gives you a few more options. The only downside is that the container fills up fast, but you would expect that in a hand held device. It's enough for most of the house so no a real issue. I also wish it extended a little further.

Very happy with everything so far and as a bonus I think it looks much better than the Dyson :)

Two batteries amazing! Great suction

published

Absolutely thrilled, having two batteries is amazing having one charging whilst using the other. Not that I’ve needed to use two batteries back to back Yet!

The suction is really good, after upgrading from my Dyson I’m pretty happy. I love that the poll is extendable forgetting underneath different types of furniture.

It’s much lighter than my Dyson used to be so that’s a really good point I have to say.

I loved it so much I bought one for my mum and she is very happy with it also

Good vacuum except it surges sometimes.

published

I've had this vacuum for a little over a year and it definitely seems to be Dyson's competition.

The 2nd battery is the best part of the vacuum. It easily swaps out to continue vacuuming if the first battery runs out. I can vacuum a three bedroom house on one battery, on the lowest setting, which is usually good enough for a quick clean.

The vacuum does occasionally surge/rev for some unknown reason. The first A9 I purchased also surged and I had it replaced but this one does it too. I'm not sure if it's a function or malfunction. Other than that, it's a great vacuum!

I would recommend to anyone who's after a cordless vacuum to check out the A9 before going straight for a Dyson.

Engine revving?

published

I purchased this vacuum in october ad i have back problems and a stick is better than corded. After a month of use the motor started to rev and surge when in use. After i logged numerous complaints with Lg on the online support page, i never heard back. Then after calling, was told this is normal as the machine is 'running in'! Hard anyone else had this issue?

Excellent for performance, features and ease of use

published

I bought this about 6 weeks ago to replace my canister Dyson. Moved to an apartment so wanted something more compact and portable which I could also use for the car. The suction is not as powerful in normal mode compared with a barrel vacuum, but it is more than enough to do the job because of the roller drive train. It picked up dirt that my Dyson missed. In terms of convenience and handling it does a fabulous job. Very well designed and engineered for convenience and handling. Having a back up battery is great although each battery lasts quite a long time. Very pleased I chose this vacuum over all the others after much research and testing

Better than Dyson

published

I was worried about switching from my Dyson but this is the best purchase I’ve made! Much better features which I really love: interchangeable height, spare battery, easy access to empty the bin, standing docking station. The vacuum is quiet to operate and cleans really well, the amount it is lifting from my carpet is amazing. This makes life so much easier than my old corded vacuum and I’m finding myself doing many small spot cleans which makes things easier. Perfect as a busy mum of a messy toddler!

Never loved vacuuming... until now!

published

This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used! Sucks everything up, not heavy, easy to maneuver, relatively affordable and love the fact that you can mount it to the wall. I also like that you just press to power on and don't have to hold the trigger the whole time as you do on some other stick vacs. Love it!!!

I really like this vacuum cleaner.

published

LG’s A9Master2X CordZero is a powerful, extremely powerful, cordless handstick vacuum that can do a whole of home clean.
The powerheads can clean within a few millimetres of the edge (side) of the brush and about 25mm from the front. If you remember this orientation, you will not need to use the crevice tool afterwards.

Still not sure if Dyson was better or not

published

I am happy with the suction but I still think my Dyson V8 was a bit more powerful
It's quieter than Dyson V8 and easier to maneuver.
I have tiles in the living area and the kitchen and carpet in bedroom, the soft brush works very well on the hard floor but I think the Dyson soft brush was able to pick up more rubish and hair fro the carpet than this new LG.
