A well crafted time-saving vacuum stick!
I can't believe I have lived without this vacuum stick before now! Once you try a stick you can't ever imagine lugging a machine around, let alone plugging it in and re-plugging it multiple times! Vacuuming is so quick and so effortless, particularly stairs. Supplying 2 batteries is also a really smart idea (sorry Dyson).
Purchased in June 2021 for A$600.00.

No reason to buy a Dyson. Excellent machine!
The LG range of cordless vacuums are excellent machines at a very competitive price. Many, if not all, of their models comes with 2 battery packs which leaves you with a runtime of up to 80 minutes and a great amount of suction by using the 3 different power levels.
Using the crevice tool you can actually completely disassemble the inside of the LG machine and wash out all the filtration system with ease. You simply cannot take apart the Dyson stick vacs at all, I can’t see an easy way to keep them clean in the long run.
They also come with a...Read more
dock that can be used as a floodstand, a compact dock or a wall mount. In comparison, Dyson charge $200 for their floorstand which is sold seperately. When you compare the two machines, LG cordless vacuums have a lot of things in their favour.Purchased in May 2021 at Betta Home Living for A$799.00.

Engineer's review: works great, well built.
NB: Surging/hunting motor is the vacuum telling you it's clogged. If you have this issue, clean the filters and remove any obstruction in the nozzle. Simple.
This vacuum has been fantastic!

Breathing problems
If you have problems with breathing, try before you buy, the exhaust air blown out of unit and up to your face, air is filtered, but not 100%, small amount of fine dust is ready for you to filter. Unit should blow down and away. Chance you breath in would be less.

Motor surges
Have had this vacuum for 7 months but now the motor surges or revs. I would not recommend it based on this problem which LG needs to address. Very handy and easy to use. Does a good job on carpet for a quick clean but does not replace a barrel vacuum for a thorough job.

Works great! Battery lasts fine
At first I was unsure about buying this because our house is all carpet, but after several uses it performs great. I find I don't need to use the turbo feature much as it does a fine job as it is. I love all the extra attachments and haven't need to use the second battery yet which is great.
Also works great on tiles and the sofa too with the extra attachment. I got the care kit which gives you a few more options. The only downside is that the container fills up fast, but you would expect that in a hand held device. It's enough for most of the house so no a real issue. I also wish it extended a little further.
Very happy with everything so far and as a bonus I think it looks much better than the Dyson :)

Master Vacuum
Shocked by some of the below reviews. I have had absolutely no problems with my vacuum and have been using it multiple times a week for 6 months. The build quality is good but handle it right because plastic is plastic after all! The suction is truly incredible. I think my floor is clean beforehand and after vacuuming I look at my barrel and it's full. It gets EVERYTHING! Cat hair is no longer an issue. I use the low setting on my tile surfaces as the suction is so strong. I use the medium level for the carpet because I can but honestly could g...Read more
et away with the low level. I very rarely use turbo as you just don't need to. I have a collection of various head attachments which comes in great handy to do my couch, mattress, bedding, window sills and my car. I would recommend getting the vacuum while they have the bonus attachment kits going with it. I have a small house but can do the whole thing with one battery charge. Having a second battery is a big help when I want to do a dusting vac or to do my car. The batteries also charge quite quickly which I was not expecting. It is also easy to clean and comes with a storage rack to sit on the floor or hang on your wall. Vacuuming is so easy and not a chore anymore. Love being able to reach over and quickly vac my kitchen. I find it very easy to use. My mum also bought one at the same time as me and has no complaints! Highly recommended.Purchased in December 2021 at The Good Guys for A$600.00.

Two batteries amazing! Great suction
Absolutely thrilled, having two batteries is amazing having one charging whilst using the other. Not that I’ve needed to use two batteries back to back Yet!
The suction is really good, after upgrading from my Dyson I’m pretty happy. I love that the poll is extendable forgetting underneath different types of furniture.
It’s much lighter than my Dyson used to be so that’s a really good point I have to say.
I loved it so much I bought one for my mum and she is very happy with it also

Good vacuum except it surges sometimes.
I've had this vacuum for a little over a year and it definitely seems to be Dyson's competition.
The 2nd battery is the best part of the vacuum. It easily swaps out to continue vacuuming if the first battery runs out. I can vacuum a three bedroom house on one battery, on the lowest setting, which is usually good enough for a quick clean.
The vacuum does occasionally surge/rev for some unknown reason. The first A9 I purchased also surged and I had it replaced but this one does it too. I'm not sure if it's a function or malfunction. Other than that, it's a great vacuum!
I would recommend to anyone who's after a cordless vacuum to check out the A9 before going straight for a Dyson.

The Best Stick Vacum
Went in to Buy a V10 Dyson just about to do the deal and I spotted this Red Beauty. Two Batteries one on the charge one on the machine, no more running out of charge with half a room to do. The suction tube is adjustable for length for cleaning stairs and to suit all people. The docking station is great. The retailer sweetened the deal with a box of fittings we have not used yet. $300 cheaper than the V10. I am not knocking Dyson we have had 3 and were sick of tripping over the ball and the V6 animal did not have the grunt. but so far this LG i...Read more
s the best, quickest, easy way to keep a house pristine. Mr Dyson may have invented the stick cleaner but LG's spare battery and adjustable height have refined it. Easy to empty and clean too and it does pick up heaps of dirt . You don't have to hold the switch on either.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Engine revving?
I purchased this vacuum in october ad i have back problems and a stick is better than corded. After a month of use the motor started to rev and surge when in use. After i logged numerous complaints with Lg on the online support page, i never heard back. Then after calling, was told this is normal as the machine is 'running in'! Hard anyone else had this issue?

Warranty is Not worth the paper it is printed on.
Like the idea of two battery's. But take a replacement warranty because the LG warranty is rubbish. Took it to their service contractor and 4 weeks later it is on the bench still waiting for parts. LG at one stage said they would consider a replacement due to the inconvenience but then said no you have to wait. LG customer service takes you around and around in circles. Had to go out and buy an old second hand corded vacuum Thank you LG for a dirty Christmas.
LG should have replaced the machine this is a new product for LG but parts are not r...Read more

Excellent for performance, features and ease of use
I bought this about 6 weeks ago to replace my canister Dyson. Moved to an apartment so wanted something more compact and portable which I could also use for the car. The suction is not as powerful in normal mode compared with a barrel vacuum, but it is more than enough to do the job because of the roller drive train. It picked up dirt that my Dyson missed. In terms of convenience and handling it does a fabulous job. Very well designed and engineered for convenience and handling. Having a back up battery is great although each battery lasts quite a long time. Very pleased I chose this vacuum over all the others after much research and testing

Better than Dyson
I was worried about switching from my Dyson but this is the best purchase I’ve made! Much better features which I really love: interchangeable height, spare battery, easy access to empty the bin, standing docking station. The vacuum is quiet to operate and cleans really well, the amount it is lifting from my carpet is amazing. This makes life so much easier than my old corded vacuum and I’m finding myself doing many small spot cleans which makes things easier. Perfect as a busy mum of a messy toddler!

Never loved vacuuming... until now!
This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used! Sucks everything up, not heavy, easy to maneuver, relatively affordable and love the fact that you can mount it to the wall. I also like that you just press to power on and don't have to hold the trigger the whole time as you do on some other stick vacs. Love it!!!

Easy to use and clean, I love the option of the two batteries. I Can easily clean the house on one battery and picks up alot of dirt. Also love the accessories that came with it as a bonus. So easy to use! The kids even love using it! Winning!!!!

Love this vacuum!
We’ve been pleasantly surprised at just how good this little stick vacuum performs. Vacuums our thick shaggy rug better than both barrel Dysons and flogs our last stick, a Bosch Athlet! The default speed is all we need with good performance, which lasts for the whole tri-level house, which has mostly wooden floors and a small amount of carpet, approx 45 minutes. We could also utilise Turbo, as we have the spare battery if needed, but haven’t found it necessary.
Overall we are impressed with the ease of use, performance and we love the sta...Read more
nd as well! We find we don’t need to change the head between surfaces either, even though we have the full range. Really easy to empty and clean. No compromise needed with this one; it does what it’s meant to do, well. Especially important to me as well is the fact that I dont need to push and hold a button to operate, as my hand strength is poor. Would recommend to anyone as a good, convenient all-rounder.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I really like this vacuum cleaner.
LG’s A9Master2X CordZero is a powerful, extremely powerful, cordless handstick vacuum that can do a whole of home clean.
The powerheads can clean within a few millimetres of the edge (side) of the brush and about 25mm from the front. If you remember this orientation, you will not need to use the crevice tool afterwards.

Still not sure if Dyson was better or not
I am happy with the suction but I still think my Dyson V8 was a bit more powerful
It's quieter than Dyson V8 and easier to maneuver.
I have tiles in the living area and the kitchen and carpet in bedroom, the soft brush works very well on the hard floor but I think the Dyson soft brush was able to pick up more rubish and hair fro the carpet than this new LG.

Had anyone ever broken the clip that u push down to empty the dust bin?(it had an arrow on it) I have done it twice now. First time they repaired it out of goodwill. Havent attempted to get fix again I just find that part is quite flimsy plastic. I wonder if I have a faulty one or had happened to others
