Love the store in North Sydney
The staff in North Sydney Liquor Land are alway so welcoming and helpful. My choice of wine is always available and I prefer this over other stores in the area.

Misleading Pricing
Ripoff, Liquorland's online prices are misleading and cheaper than their instore prices, I firstly priced them online after selecting the store I was collecting from, the price was ok so I drove over and picked up 2 bottles of spirits, when I got home I discovered they overcharged me an extra $2 per bottle. I phoned the store, they said I would need to return my order to them for a refund to correct my overcharge. What a pain.

Currimundi liquorland
At Currimundi liquorland in front of the Currimundi pub...It’s a great shop to either go into or drive through. Always happy helpful staff. I try to shop local and the team there make it worth the support. I would recommend this particular liquorland to anybody.

Good service and excellent response to covid
I was impressed with the new protocol in place at my local liquorland of one person in one out, and the shop keeper keeping a good distance away from me when I was asking questions.

Kings Cross NSW 2011 Liquorland
Tuesday, 10th March. What a pleasure it is to deal with the gentleman from Nepal at Kings Cross NSW 2011. He is always friendly & knows exactly which product I drink each time. Always offered a receipt & asked if I want anything else before completing the transaction. I think he is mainly there during the day Monday to Friday. I have previously walked out before because of the offhand service or lack of it from other staff. Very well done. Prices are slightly higher than BWS but that isn't a great concern. Wonderful friendly service. My purchase is usually large Gordon's Gin whenever on special !!!!

Lies and Fraud - Broadway Liquorland
Ordered a case (12 bottles) of wine from Liquorland online to collect at their Broadway store.
Received an SMS to say my order was ready.
Went to the Broadway store on 9 February 2020 to pick up my order and was given 6 bottles. I explained that my order was for 12 bottles. They stated that they didn't have 12 bottles. I asked why they said my order was 'ready to pick up' if it was not ready. They just shrugged and were completely indifferent.
As the staff were extremely unhelpful, I stated that I did not want ANY of my order and just wanted a...Read more

Rude staff member at Saratoga
I have probably spent many thousands of dollars at this store yet the assistant demanded I pay 10 cents for a plastic bag. I objected on the grounds that I had no cash. I was forced to put the 10 cents on my credit card. When I said that I thought her attitude was mean & miserable, she told me never to come back again. I am elderly & disabled as she could see & did not want have to go back to my car to to find a bag & was unable to carry 2 x 2 litre casks without one. At IGA nearby the girls don’t charge me for a bag if I forget to bring one &...Read more
always offer to carry my groceries to the car. This Liquourland changes staff all the time. It is obvious they are poorly trained & don’t care. Pity help you if you are elderly or disabled. Dan Murphy staff much more customer focused & helpful.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Advertised specials
over here in the West I have been told by Liquorland employees that the item I went into purchase even though it is advertised they don't carry two stores I went too. They explained that they had to cut what they carried and even though it is advertised this doesn't apply to WA only the Eastern States. How poor is that. I wont go back to Liquorland ever and now buy my liquor from Aldi. Lift your game by the way your staff expressed to me that there have been alot of complaints. Are you closing down your stores as you dont seem very competitive.

Forget about click and collect
Coomera store - Gold Coast. Website says collect within 30 min. Took 24 hrs to get text. When I arrived nothing was bagged ready and just thrown in one box. (24 bottles were ordered). Luckily checked the order (prompted by such bad service) and only 20 in box. NEVER AGAIN!

Beware: Expensive!
The purported 'Specials' are generally available for $17/$19 and $24/$26 respectively elsewhere, including cellar door. BUT $22 and $38 are certainly 'special' prices!
Liquorland are trying to make the banks look good!

Terrible attendance
Yesterday November 23rd around 7:00 pm in mermaid waters liquorland for the first time in australia I was very poorly attended by an old man who was very rude, I am brazilian studying english and I don't know how to communicate very well, I felt that It was discrimination, because soon an Australian arrived who treated him very friendly and smiling. I made the payment of the purchased goods and he did not give me the receipt and asked to pass the flybuys the same spoke aggressively saying that I had to request before payment, asked to print f...Read more

Wolf Blass Merlot 2018
Current cost $10. Avoid, spend alittle more .Tart in tast. Choose Yellow Tail red Merlot, Shiraz, Cab Sav. All good. However the Wolf Blass champagne is good. Leave spending on low cost unknowns.
Have had great results with Wolf Blass so am disappointed with the above.

You know who you are, Daylesford
Unpleasant middle aged woman whose name begins with B and ends with renda, has always been so rude that I mentioned her in a 'local review' (although not by name).
She read this review and instead of modifying her behaviour, verbally abused my wife as well. She may as well resign because I'm going to make sure she gets fired.

Highly arrogant staff member
I visited Liquorland yesterday, 26/09, around 8:30PM with my 15 years old son on Victoria Road, North Parramatta.
I picked up a bottle and went to the counter. The server at the counter pointed to my son and said "Boss I want to see his ID" (yes that's how he greeted me and that was the first sentence he spoke).
I told him that I'm buying the bottle so why he wants to see my 15 years old son's ID. He straight away refused to sell me the bottle.
He started serving a young couple next in the queue, they too were with a child around 7-8 years of a...Read more

Terrible treatment and lies
Service was denied my 41 year old son in Liquorland Warrawong today because his ID wasn't current. Rude girl said she thought he looked under 35! (even though his expired licence gave his age) so she wouldn't serve him. Weeks prior, another son, 34 years old, left his licence in the car and he was also refused service in the same store (he had his four children with him, the eldest a teenager). Today, when the girl wouldn't sell to my older son, I said I'd buy it and she refused, shouting at me that the law said she couldn't sell it to me. Hone...Read more
stly, it beggars belief. We're in Australia and mature adults are not allowed to purchase alcohol. There is no way my 41 and 34 year old sons could be mistaken for under 18. What happened to common sense? Liquorland has gone mad. On both occasions the girl kept shouting it's the LAW but either she's made this lie up or Liquorland is teaching its employees to lie. Demanding OBVIOUSLY mature adults for ID is not the law and selling to a mature adult who is buying for another mature adult is not against the law. Also, I've been told an expired Licence, while it doesn't entitle you to drive, is still valid as ID. PS On both occasions my sons went to another Liquorland (we had to get in the car {with small children} and drive there) and both were served without incident. Can you see the stupidity of this Liquorland Policy? All its doing is creating embarrassing and demeaning scenes for its customers and making their lives difficult.Similar opinion?
