Booking XZLQH4 Like everyone else, I have tried emailing and calling you with no luck. I understand that you are all flat out at Luxury Escapes, but it would be good if the organisation could have a message on its website telling us what the procedure is for requesting a refund. Your PDF suggests that refunds can be obtained in the event of an epidemic. Your refunds page sends us to the Contact Us page for a 'refund form', but there is no form on that page. Could you tell me where I can find the refund form? With thanks and much appreciation.

Need some answers to emails sent to LE.I asked back in January for change or refund,no refunds coming then or now I would say we have all lost our money. No where to change dates on website if you have your package.

Hey Steve, I am certain that any travel business is completely overwhelmed by the support cases right now and LE is no different. I had a travel booked in April and it got sorted but I think it would be helpful to link your booking number. This could speed up the process as they do not need to ask you for it.

Yeah I get the feeling we’ve lost our money. Impossible to call, can’t get response to emails or messages through their website. Oh well, we live and learn! Thankfully our booking was only valued at $899. Other providers (airlines, hotel) were great and have provided a refund or credit. But not LE! Nothing!

Is anyone getting answers from Luxury Escapes anymore?? Like most people here, we are being completely left in the dark not getting through on phones, emails unanswered and live chat gets kicked off, due to fly out to Thailand, but flight out has been cancelled by Singapore Airlines, however, flight back has only been delayed - am I supposed to swim to Singapore to catch a flight back to Adelaide now??

Hey there,
My husband sent an email to them, and they got in touch yesterday. As you can understand they are pretty busy. We were supposed to be staying in one of the resorts in Khao Lak in a couple Of weeks.
They have cancelled our booking and extended our use of the deal from September until the end of the year.
They sent a letter saying they are hoping to offer it for six months after whatever the cut off month is to all customers.
They have been very helpful in these challenging times.

Hi Tania, we too were supposed to be staying in Khao Lak, but I have spent hours on hold on the phone over the last 3 weeks, got cut off live chat after about 2 hours and have sent easily 7 or 8 emails, lucky you for getting a response, it's not from lack of trying at my end, I have also contacted both the airline and the resort directly only to be be referred back to Luxury Escapes, I have also now posted twice here on this forum, I do realise they must be fairly busy, but after being told "too bad, so sad" from our travel insurer, we are extremely worried that we have done our dough. I would just like some assurance that we are not being left out in the cold, so thanks for answering my post, it gives me some hope that we may be offered the same deal as you guys - fingers crossed :0)

Bali Accommodation (ref HPJCEF) - due to travel on the 31/03 staying @ Melia.

Have tried to change the date on the website, or change to buy now book later. Yesterday there was an option to change 4 times in 12 months, but only allowed 3months in advance to change. Today, it says i can only change 1 time, and still only shows 3month in advance.

There is no option to buy now book later, so not sure why this is offered as an option.

3 month change isnt an option in the current climate (and the dates available arent suitable in any event).

Have contacted the hotel, and they just refer my back you LE.

Can you please refund my booking? I have waited to get as close to my booking to alleviate the calls you are receiving, however need this resolved please (i have been on hold for long wait times, and figured this might be the most appropriate way to action this request, as my email is still pending from a week ago).

Thanks & appreciate you guys are under the pump.

We were due to go to Thailand in April but after being contacted by LE we were told we could change the date up to four times. So as not to miss out we quickly booked some dates in October as November was not available and the calendar didn’t go further than November. As it turns out, we may not be able to go in October, or any other time this year. It is still not allowing bookings after November and I have emailed asking if we can book for next year but not had a reply as yet. If this escape isn’t available for next year and we are unable to travel this year will LE provide a refund?

I guess that the amount of cases they have to work through must be insane. As with any travel business right now, they go by urgency level as mentioned in one of their comments. If your booking is in November it will not be as urgent as other bookings but reading through other review pages, it seems that LE is holding up on their end in some form or the other - I guess it just takes time

I have three back to back to back packages in Vietnam and Hong Kong plus two lots of airfares for a party of nine people
I am not the only person in the boat here but wonder does Luxury Escapes realize that its reputation is well on the line here and it will likely live or die by its handling of the coronavirus event. The communication is just not good enough. I have suspended the accommodation but now need to know where I am headed with the flights which I cannot change as they are booked via LE
Sorry guys... I do sympathize and the flexibility to date is appreciated but you need to be doing better in the communications

Hello Luxury Escapes,
Yes I would still like some assistance regarding our booking ID is OWHF8E. With reference to the above booking we have spoken to LE on a telephone conversation regarding us being able to have a credit on our account so that we can use it for a different location and date. We were offered a change of date but in the time frame given to use it
are unable to take It in that time, hence why the need to be able to use at a different location and date.
As we don’t know how long this Coronavirus will go on this year we aren’t able to go in 2020 due to work commitments and we have a wedding in the UK April 2021. We aren’t asking for a refund just a credit to be used in April 2021 elsewhere.
I have read some other people’s reviews of Luxury Esacpes on ieatwords.com.au and see that they in fact received credit vouchers to use on other locations and dates. They had commented how helpful that Loz and Nik had been regarding this.
We would appreciate your assistance in this situation.

I have been trying to contact via numerous avenues but to our avail.

I have contacted the hotel in Phuket (CEWUKJ & 94KJTH) and Bali (2ZWK5L) and both have agreed to refund however the cancellation request must come from Luxury Escapes so I now need your assistance urgently!

I will send the confirmation emails to you but you need to contact me so this can progress. Both hotels understood the special circumstances we are in I.e. we can not leave Australia plus I can only have holidays May/June each year as I am in the tourism industry also. Both hotels can not change the dates due to the validity periods hence are happy for me to cancel and proceed to a refund, yippee! Any help?

It took a long time to save up this holiday money, and the government has now announced travel bans, we can't get to Thailand for our trip, and also can't through to LE. Very sad. Booking ID V3NVCV. As per everyone else on this forum I am waiting for a response to my email regarding my trip to Egypt. Case number 01729655 Booking number NG3H4S. I have received number of emails instructing me to change my details to a later date but this is impossible when a flight is involved. As everyone else I also understand that you are busy but you must also realise that people are extremely worried about what is to happen to our hard earned money with a problem which is no fault of our own or yours. We are booked on your Five Star Egypt Tour departing 17/4/20, booking numbers JDGY97 & ZJ449H. I have sent two previous correspondences via your online site over the last few weeks but am yet to receive a reply. I understand how busy you must be under the current circumstances, but would appreciate it if you could let me know what options you could offer regarding postponing this tour for a later date. Our request is due to the recent outbreak of coronavirus in Egypt at Luxor & on a Nile River cruise vessel which resulted in the subsequent quarantine of passengers. We are not prepared to take this risk with our health & also fear being quarantined in Egypt. We are also concerned that our flights are connecting through Dubai, as it connects with many other countries with serious outbreaks. I have read your small print but hope that you understand our concerns. We do not want a refund but just a credit to rebook at a later date. Thanks

This may not be an answer to your question but this was my recent experience. I emailed luxury escape as i had no luck with their phone line. 4 days later i got a reply asking for alternative dates I could travel. In the meantime I had privately reached out to my accommodation got a favourable response from them about being able to rebook until 30 Dec 2020. I forwarded this email along with my booking ID and case number to Luxury Escapes. have just heard from them now with a new booking in December. I also had flights booked with my package. Jetstar will give a credit, have done that online as well. mine might be a little easier than yours but wanted to let you know about my experience.
