What's not to like
Just love the facial recognition - means you have that layer of protection but can immediately start using the phone when it sees your face. Sync setup gets better over time. Lots of features for the geeks, or simple operation if preferred. Great cameras. Great battery. Fast (8GB RAM!!). Comes with fitted screen protector and cover..can't argue with that. 128GB memory, Dual SIM, but no SD card slot. Not good that the cover obscures the beautiful purple case colour! But love it.

Great Phone, Great Price - Ripper Samsung Alternative
Easy to order from eBay, Arrived in 2 Business Days. New, Never opened. Great phone is a real Samsung Killer.. I sold my Note9 and made a profit. Will defiantly be looking for another of these down the road. Possibly 5G
The phone has the latest version on Android and is unencumbered by Bloatware and Alterations that Samsung and other manufacturers add and edit. The OS Color 6 Is a seamless Operating System and no features are disabled and especially there is no Bixby to annoy you.
128 GB of Storage and a 4G and 3G reception that is much bette...
Read morer than any Samsung Galaxy in rural areas. It's a relief to use a Smart Phone that has no "Propitiatory Roadblocks" that manufacturers put in place. It is truly an accommodating and reliable phone that will get you through the day without problems. I use this for business and it has everything needed to succeed without the Top Dollar Price Tag. Well Done Oppo.

Loved it
Been few months using this phone. couldn't be more happier. I was always a Samsung user so transition to another Android was smooth. The two big thing for me is the price of the phone and the on screen fingerprints.
The only problem is this phone is slightly bulkier than the phone I have used in past.

Excellent performance and super-fast smartphone with 8gb ram
The phone color is so beautiful it looks similar to one plus phone. I work as a uber driver I continuously use Bluetooth, Internet, GPS never went wrong with this phone. In this price range, you can't get any phone with 8gb ram. The camera has awesome colors. Good battery life of 4000Mah with fast charger i'm getting 7-8 hours using GPD, Bluetooth, and internet.

Add a contact to the homepage? Can't be done!
Bought this phone after reading the great reviews. Tried to put my wife's phone as a contact on the homepage... shock horror, it can't be done. I contacted OPPO, and an embarrassed guy told me to install whatsapp to use a third party app to get around the inability to add contact to the homepage. I could do this on my 2015 Galaxy S5, but not on a 2020 'smartphone'? come on OPPO, try to join us in the 21st Century.

Poor user interface and customisation on some basic features
Bought my phone in Oct 2022. I've had a month playing around with it, trying to customise certain basic settings and finding it very unintuitive or not being able to customise it at all.
Thankfully their customer support is helpful, but still it's a poor experience and wouldn't recommend buying this phone, especially since I've had to reset the phone a couple of times to get the basic settings right. The running list of issues I encountered are:
1. I want to enlarge the font size of the battery percentage on the top right corner of phone. Not...
Read more able to do so and so it's hard to tell. 2. I've disabled most of my notification settings on my oppo Reno z, yet I keep getting the sound and vibration very regularly, a few minutes apart from each other, but nothing is showing in the notification window, nor are my applications having any notices coming in. Super annoying especially when I'm trying to sleep at night. Customer support advised me to reset my system settings, so wasted more time in trying to customise the apps again but it worked this time. 3. I found the default alarm clock to be very soft in volume. Instead of having the alarm volume being easily accessible in the alarm clock app (which is also where you select your alarm tone), I had to do a runaround by going to settings > sound and vibration > change alarm volume. Really??? It made me nervous in relying on the default alarm and have since downloaded other alarm apps as backups too, as they are more user friendly in setting up.Purchased in .

Oppo is an absolute garbage and the worst service, if can be called service, out of all the phone companies
It's brand new, with factory settings. Continuously the screen freezes up. My old 5 year old LG battery was lasting longer. The worst thing for me was I have found out it wasn't saving new contacts in account sync, because when I checked my Google account for Oppo, the new contacts wasn't there. I went online chat to Oppo in order to fix the problem. First, someone came on, I explained the issue in detail and the person disappeared. After I explained again. The person disappeared then came back saying sorry because had problem with computer. AT...
Read more that point I started copying what I was writing because they kept asking what was the problem with my phone and I wasn't pasting the problem. I told them I had Android phone, used the same Google account but never had problem with contacts sync to Google account. After wasting 1 hour online with Oppo help center chat, their solution was that "to sync contacts I need to have a Google account" I sent an email telling everything in detail about the contacts sync problem I was having, the email response was the same as the Oppo chat " I need to have a Google account to sync the new contacts" I think these people in China and don't understand English fully. Or there is AI type thing, the machine response. I spent altogether about 70 hours to fix the problem on brand new phone. The screen is still freezing though, and always battery is down. I am saving for a new Iphone. It's expensive but at least working and anything would be better than this total garbage with he worst service.Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi for $600.

Oppo Reno Z - the little things build up
The Colour OS needs a lot of work. Such as;
CONTACTS:
- when choosing to 'Select' your contacts the ONLY option given is to 'Batch' Delete.
- can't 'link' contacts
- no ability to choose where contacts are saved. ie: phone, google or sim card.
- unclear what the OS is programmed to do when merging contacts.
SMS & MMS:
- can't 'lock' msgs to ensure you dont accidentally delete them
- doesn't let you move msgs from 'blocked' list....

Gotta Recommend this Phone at this Price Point!
Have had this phone for four months and can highly recommend it. My Son bought one too and he is very happy with it. he recently lost it in a Mosh Pit Death Circle and when he found it completely buried in the mud (he rang it) it was pretty well undamaged! First of all it looks good and has a nice bright screen that is very responsive. It charges fast with the quick charger supplied (I gather this fast charger is an optional extra with even far more expensive phones). Battery life is reasonable but with a quick top up you will have plenty of ba...
Read morettery power again before you know it. The Oppo operating system is based on Android Nine and it operates very smoothly. The phone has very good storage capacity and the camera works very well. We both paid around $420 delivered so if you can get it for that price it makes you really wonder why people bother paying 1 to $2k for a top of the line phone!Purchased in for $420.

Great value
I purchased 2 phones for my wife and I and so far we are very happy with them. Easy to use, simple app operation, great storage capacity. The camera is pretty good, not as good as a top of the line phone of course but for the price we found the phone to have almost everything we needed. It also has NFC.
