Amazing Customer service
I recently had an issue with my internet connection and opticomm’s customer service went above and beyond to get the fault fixed promptly. Carlee constantly called me with updates and made my case high priority whilst liaising with my internet provider. If it wasn’t for her I don’t think the issue would have been resolved yet. Rip off, worst customer service
moved into a new estate, was asked to pay $550 and was told that service will be active 1 week after i will move in. Guess what, 3 months no active connection and no compensation. A 4G dongle was give to use which was piece of ****. Finally, got an connection and find out i cannot choose my own service provider. i have to use one from opticomm service provider list which is $20 more.

Very efficient
I called Opticomm on a Monday and by Wednesday I had internet. The speeds are much faster than any other internet we've had and we haven't had any dropouts so far.
We are extremely happy with the service OptiComm have provided.

Excellent service from billing Dept
Quick understanding of my request and provided the solution on time.
This was an issue with the new development fee charged by Opticomm and Exetel, where exetel cannot find the payment done to Opticomm. Billing dept understood the issue and provided the refund on-time.

Awesome service
I did an online request to get my NBN connected, I expected this to take a few days - I was contacted within 4 hours and it was connected the very next morning at 8am (just as they said it would be), this service was outstanding, prompt, efficient and all of the staff are very friendly to talk to - Thank You

Worst company I have had the mispleasure to deal with
3 weeks ago they installed the box for free tv. Lost the signal 27/12/19. Tried to call but got put in a loop. They don’t have 24/7 support like most companies in their position would. I asked when I finally got hold of them all they could do was laugh in my face and tell me the issue was 100% my issue. To send a tech they wanted to charge me and then told me I had to purchase adapters to do some fault finding asked to speak to manager to make a complaint. Was told manager would call next day. told again issue is 100% mine and they could not or would not help. Laugh in face again. OptiComm hold the monopoly in this area for fibre to the home and we are not allowed to put external antenna up. To get internet have to use one of their preferred suppliers. Can’t use Telstra or Vodafone. The most unsympathetic unempathetic company I have had to deal with. Still without free to air tv. Told them I made a complaint to ombudsman and laughed in my face and told me they would not help. Said I would go to my local member and again laughed in my face and said they would not help either. Bad service from Opticom employee
I have recently moved into a new estate and was told Opticomm was the only network we could use. A technician came out to install on the property but advised us that there was a problem with the port on the street so someone else would need to come out to fix it before we could get connected. After a week of not hearing from them I rang to find out if the issue had been resolved. They followed up with their technician only to tell me I'd need to wait another 2 weeks at least before someone could come out and fix it, and then another technician ...Read more

After asking if there was any compensation for the delay they said that they don't compensate, and had the audacity to try and blame the service provider for the fault! Dodgy Sub Contractors no action taken
My wife and I moved into a new estate obviously the first thing we got organised is the Internet. We paid Opticomm their $550 connection fee the man came out to connect it all to find out our connection port had been already used !. The Opticomm technician was wonderful however he was rightly angry because our allocated port had been taken. The technician stated he had reported this particular technician on several occasions for using the incorrect ports. I called Opticomm they couldnt really give me an answer as to when our internet would be connected.

It was quick and painless!!
A true professional outfit who looks after their customers. Initial call was handled professionally with right advise and guidance provided from the onset. Booking done without delay on payment. Cheerful tech arrived on time to do the install (unlike NBN and the big T). He did a wonderful job; went out of his way to ensure the fibre was installed despite the builders doing a terrible job with the conduits. And, I was up and away in no time!! So, thanks Opticomm. Looking forward to a long and beneficial relationship with fast speeds and no dropouts :)

My opticomm box has completely powered off. It will power on if I constantly hold down the on/off button but powers off again if I let go. What is this issue? A problem with the box? This is the second issue I’ve had with opticomm in a matter of months. I have called my service provider iiNet three times today to try and get the problem escalated but is taking ages. I’m without any signal for my TV/Foxtel and internet services. I called opticomm directly but was told I had to go through my service provider which is disappointing as they surely could have seen I have had a recent issue.
