Ozcruising gone to ground!

Like many of us, Ozcruising insisted on the balance of our October 2020 cruise being paid, despite Royal Caribbean advising that balances were not required at this time due to COVID-19. When I didn't pay, they promptly cancelled the booking 3 days before the cruise company did! Numerous emails remain unanswered, call centre is closed. I have requested a refund. RCI won't talk to me because I booked through an agent and Ozcruising won't respond. Not all travel agents are reacting this way. Others travelling in our group of 18, had booked through other agencies and they are getting a full refund. I will never use Ozcruising again, they have been absolutely deceitful and obtuse. I also will be raising the matter with ACCC.

Really concerned we have lost our money- 6 months and still waiting for refund from cancelled cruise!!!

Replies are very few and far between and very erratic, one minute the money is there but they need another bank account to deposit in to and next, there is an issue because money has not come from Cruise company, no option of calling. We have been informed by the Cruise company that all money has been paid to Ozcruising for our cruise long ago.
Ozcruising is acting in a very unprofessional manner and it looks like they don't care about their future reputation, or the lost future bookings they will encounter because of this and so I fear that the real problem here is that the money is running dry.
Not a good place to book the next cruise.

All I Want to do is Cancel My Booking

All I want to do is cancel my booking with Ozcruising, and all I get is auto emails. I waited the 15 days they indicated to me it would take to get back to, and still no calls or email indicating my request was actioned. I have now contact P&O, who have said only Ozcruising can make the cancellation. I’m not after a refund of our deposit, only confirmation our booking has been cancelled.

No correspondence..very poor communication

My refund with P&O was processed back mid May 2020. So Ozcruising have had plenty of time to refund my money. I've sent numerouse emails and have not heard anything from them since the end of March. So like others, it's been about 5 months. Seriously, this is really terrible customer service and they are holding onto a refund they should not be entitled to. Will never book with them again.

Awaiting refund no response

Paid for a cruise in December which was cancelled due to covid. I ring Ozcruising and call centre not manned. I’ve emailed multiple times, no response and P&O have refunded them

5 months countless emails no refund

After reading the reviews below I contacted Carnival to find out from them if they had refunded oz cruising. Unfortunately no they have not. In fact Carnival were holding the money as future credit because they had not received notification that we wanted a refund. The sad part is I originally informed Carnival we were after a refund and then oz cruising and even passed our banking details at oz cruizings request.

They might be good when all working well but stonewalling is not going to help anyone.

Very unhappy customer - OzCruising doesn’t deserve even one star

Our 13th March cruise was cancelled due to Covid19 - it is now July 10 and still no refund. Royal Caribbean informed us that they had returned to OzCruising our pre purchased drinks package on 4th June. To date and after repeated emails to OzCruising we still have not had our drinks package refund or our cruise fares refunded. Not good enough - the company was quick enough to take our money but obviously it’s not as efficient when it comes to refunding. Now you can’t even talk to OzCruising via phone - they are only accepting emails - not good enough - will never recommend this company.!!!! Where do I go from here???

Not Happy, have booked many cruises with this company and communication always great.
But now they have gone to ground p&o have sent refund and no replys from Ozcruising.
Why is P& O still sending refunds when they wont speak to customers ?

Unprofessional taking so long to refund cruise credits.

Been using Oz Cruising for years and was very happy with them. But this Cruise Refund fiasco is truly unprofessional. I have been waiting since May for a cruise cancelled in Feb. Yes, they have received the money from Cunard, but it seems processing the refund to me is just not happening. I keep contacting them - but still no refund. What is going on at Oz Cruising.

Cruise cancelled by Royal Caribbean received email from them stating could have a refund or cruise credit, contacted Royal Caribbean they tell me I must contact my travel agent. After long waits for answers to emails and forwarding the email from Royal Caribbean to Oz cruising they still refused a refund stating I'm only entitled to a cruise credit very disappointing treatment.

Getting a bad rap

I have booked a number of cruises with Ozcruising and did have to wait a few months for my refund. After reading some of the reviews here I am stocked at how impatient people have been. I will be booking more cruises with them in the future and cannot wait for the first cruise to be back leaving Sydney.

Never booking with Ozcruising again

We have booked our last 5 cruises with Ozcruising, but never again. They have received our full payment from Cunard and yet we are still waiting. Has anyone received a refund? I’d be very wary of the 2 positive reviews on here......too.
Oh and don’t bother contacting the ACCC I’ve tried twice and they just tell me to wait. What is the ACCC there for?

Fantastic Cruising Company!!!

Ozcruising have been great to deal with. I had to cancel a cruise due to Coronavirus. Ozcrusiing worked with the cruise line and arranged for my paid deposit to be transfer to a future cruise credit. When I booked the future cruise they applied it with out any problems. Have had nothing but a great experience with Ozcruising. I will continue to use them in the future

Ozcruising This is Bad for Future Business!

Since being informed in late March that my 12th of April cruise would not be sailing I immediately requested a refund instead of a FCC, having made many calls, (unanswered) and several emails, (answered once) and told it would take 2 weeks, I still have not received my $2,859 as promised! Having contacted Cunard, I was told that Ozcruising has been forwarded my money, and yet I am still waiting, what is going on? I realise that there are a lot of passengers waiting as well, but enough is enough! Give me back my money, you have hung on to it long enough!!

No Contact - Refund Cunard Cruise

I have contacted Oz Cruising by phone & email and know one has contacted me. The cruise was cancelled by Cunard due to covid. I paid the full fare to Oz Cruising. They have made no contact since. Have they gone into receivership? I was suppose to get refund within 60 days.

I had several cruises booked with OZ Cruising when Covid 19 Hit and although the cruise lines have told me that they have forwarded my refund to Oz Cruising I have not seen a single cent. Can't ring them and my emails remain unanswered. I received an automated response stating that refunds could take up to 9 months but I could book another cruise and have my refund applied to this new booking. I have tried to do this but the booking is automatically cancelled when I don't pay the deposit. P and O are just as bad. Requested a FCC for one of the cancelled cruises and when I went to use this I was told they had made a mistake and processed it as a refund which was sent to Oz Cruising!!! Has anyone received a refund through Oz Cruising?

How can this company keep tellings lies.. saying they will reply to emails within 10-15 business days.. nothing arrives....u just get nothing.. so over it.

Be warned if you take a Future Cruise credit you should get that plus your port charges and taxes and refunded to your original form of payment... guess what... we havent seen a cent...

deplorable behaviour

I have used Oz Cruising over many years for bookings and never encountered a problem, but after fighting for nearly 6 months for my refunds for cancelled cruise by Rci due to covid, they have lost me as a customer for good.Countless unanswered emails, and when i did get a response it was a generic one,disgusting, deplorable illegal behaviour i like so many others paid in full for a service in good faith and was far from provided that service.Rci were fairly prompt in refunding any money paid directly to them, and in future i will book direct with the cruise lines not deal with the middle man big lesson learnt.

booked a cruise with these scammers, cruise was cancelled due to covid virus, contacted cunard cruise lines and they have refunded money to oz cruise to refund customers. oz cruise won't answer their phone and will not respond to emails or text messages

Ozcruising worst travel company I have ever dealt with!!!!!!

Cruise booked and looking for a refund. Not answering phone.....no response too numerous emails.....I could get in contact with Carnival Cruiselines straight away but not this company! No - for the past 4 months they won't answer the phone! Only way I could get them to contact me was to make a dummy new booking under a friends name and ask them to call me ASAP regarding a cabin change - can you believe that!!!! So many people needing answers to their current bookings and I get a response in 24 hours because I want to make a new booking!!!
They don't deserve to be in business!!!! Do not book with this company EVER!

Ozcruising not responding to refund requests

Ozcruising were very quick to respond to my initial e-mail asking what has happened to my money. They asked me for my details to refund the money, however, after proving them with my bank details to refund the money, I have not received any response since. I waited the 15 days and sent them another e-mail asking for an update and they failed to respond to that e-mail as well.

I encourage everyone to complain to the ACCC as many people have already posted, but I would also strongly suggest that you all also complain to the Department of Fair Trading by following this link:

No response no refund

Waiting over 3 months now for a refund for a covid cancelled Cunard cruise. Telephone message says office is closed and emails don’t get answered and yet they have the cheek to keep sending promotional emails to book another cruise. They have to be joking. We have done a chargeback on our credit card but still waiting. Worst company ever.
