The site was easy to use and ordering went smoothly. Oz design’s communications were clear and to the point. When I had a query the response was prompt and helpful. Overall a satisfying online shopping experience.

we ordered bookshelf and buffet. We had issues with buffet and it was replaced. We then had the same problem. I was dealing with Rebecca who was very helpful and polite. I was really scared after reading online reviews but things were dealt with in professional manners.

I ordered fabric cleaners online. I was told that it will be in Auburn store in two weeks. I called the Auburn store and asked them for stock. They said they have stocks available. I asked the online store to cancel my order. I was asked why did I want to cancel the order and I informed them that because of the delivery time they quoted. I was told that its already in the Auburn store and that we just say these things and that if I cancel now, its company's policy to pay 30% restocking fee. They also do not return your calls. Once they grab your money, then that's it.

Very poor customer service!!! Please be aware if you need to use warranty they are avoiding any responsibility for it.
I bought cabinet from online store which is under 1 year warranty. Unfortunately one side door was loose and then after couple of months completely broken. I was trying to contact customer service with hope that they can organise cabinet to be fixed. Unfortunately, I had no luck. [Name Removed] from online customer service was totally rejecting any kind of help, was very rude and unprofessional. It is a shame that such a popular furniture shop has very poor customer service due to unprofessionally and rudeness of the staff.

We have had a very disappointing and unfair experience with this store and the quality of service provided after a $1700 table was delivered with discolouration from the wood stain. After multiple emails to and from the customer service (no phone number was available) to inform then the table was not what we ordered we were informed that they could not see any issues from the requested photos. We were told we could swap it for a floor demo model. However, no stores in all of Victoria had this table as floor stock. We offered to take the table t...

We were not requesting a refund - simply a replacement for another table - which we believed to be fair. There was no consideration or solution provided - despite the fact that we had paid significant money and the product was not what we had seen in-store nor what we had paid for. Legal action will be taken as this is unacceptable treatment.Really bad service, purchased our dining table online and have waited 3 months. Now to wait another 2 months as they said it won’t be ready until mid Feb. They won’t give any refund unless they take 30% of total order. Do not recommend OZ DESIGN ONLINE.

OZ Design Furniture has the worst communication with customers. I spent roughly $5k in October on furniture for my new apartment and I haven't had any updates on what's happening. I have spent the same amount of money at Life Interiors and they have the most incredible customer service and update emails telling me everything - when my furniture is getting made, when it's ready for delivery, when there is a delay (and why). They could have called or emailed and told me it was ready and there was an option to get it sooner for a small fee. But nothing! It seemed like she was the only one working because I could hear her on the phone putting others on hold while talking to me. She didn't care too much about my customer experience and palmed me off to their estore email address to talk to someone. I bought my dining table, 6 x wishbone chairs & buffet mid-September. I have had the delivery date extended four times (Oct, Nov, Dec x 2)..... still haven't received my furniture - and now have no table to host Christmas Dinner at.....
The WORST customer service I have experienced in my life. First of all we ordered a couch in October for a November delivery, didn't hear anything from the company. My neighbour purchased the SAME couch on the 15th of November and it was delivered the following week, so we checked the website and the couch said it was "in stock" with an orange tick next to it. I understand there are delays but any other furniture company is completely transparent with their customers, regarding delivery timeframes, giving you the opportunity to select products accordingly. Trust me when I say they will take your money and just palm you off. Read more get that... ** We ordered two dining chairs from OzDesign Online (OzDesign) and collected them from Nunawading on 5 Mayember 2021. We were given in error 1 chair in black with a black seat and 1 x chair in black with natural seat. I phoned OzDesign that same day and was asked to instead send an email with supporting photos. I emailed details of the error to OzDesign, together with photos, as requested on 9 Mayember 2021. I subsequently sent two further emails to OzDesign on 11 and 12 Mayember 2021 seeking updates but did not receive a response. I also phoned on two occasions without success - I was told that they were busy and to instead email through my concerns (odd that I would email through my concerns about not receiving responses to my emails...). On 16 Mayember 2021, after still not receiving a response, I emailed OzDesign indicating that I was not prepared to continue to wait and instead requested a refund and a contact to escalate my concerns. OzDesign advised in response that a replacement chair had been ordered and would be inspected that week then transferred to Nunawading - OzDesign refused to provide an escalation contact. I managed to locate details of a senior manager online and even tried in desperation to contact them thinking that might care - true to form, no response. On 18 Mayember 2021, OzDesign emailed formally declining my request for a refund and otherwise assuring me that a replacement chair had been ordered and the issue had been marked as a priority and the chair would be with me soon. On 3 December 2021, after not hearing anything further from OzDesign in over 2 weeks (4 weeks on from collection), and the chair having not arrived, I emailed OzDesign again requesting a refund citing an unreasonable delay and my rights under consumer law. OzDesign responded advising that a replacement chair has been ordered and should be available in January 2022!! I was again denied a refund. I feel like I'm in some sort of twilight zone - how is it ok to take my money for a chair that's in stock, send me the wrong one, stuff me around for a month, then expect me to wait at least over 8 weeks for a replacement? I can see from other recent reviews that there's a trend emerging. I'm a lawyer and I've today filed a complaint with NSW Fair Trading - there are consumer guarantees that OzDesign must provide, including providing goods that match their description. I strongly encourage others to pursue their consumer law rights.I purchased a table online with a delivery date of 13/12/21 on 04/11/21. 2 weeks later I received an email saying it won't arrive until January and the them claiming force majeure which removes liability to them due to "COVID". When it arrived it was faulty. They got the supplier to send a replacement which was also faulty. Keep in mind the two canvas's were 1500 x 1000. Read the fine print to see its your cost to return them, and know they will not action anything unless you get aggressive and demand it. They do not apologise for their incompetence and stuffing around a customer is apparently ok. Do not buy online, and check your purchase over thoroughly at the counter. Pay with a credit card so when you have an issue, your card provider can step in and get your refund for you or you will be waiting forever to get it! Absolutely pathetic!!!

Please be especially careful when ordering online from them as they just don't return items bought online even if a product looks cheap and colourless in reality. I made a mistake ordering a number of pictures and most of them were fine, but there was one that simply did not look as bright and colourful as on the website and they refused to exchange or refund it or even provide a credit. Contacted customer service in regards to the couch turning pink as a reaction to a spot cleaner. I was asking if they knew what was in their dyes so I could work out what reaction has been caused. I was told to contact an upholstery cleaner. I felt disappointed as clearly because they already had my money, they did not care about helping out any further.

Ordered a small item (thankfully not expensive).
The item was ordered on pre order, which I was aware of and took into account. The date passed, had to follow it up. Was provided a new date, had to follow that up as well.. that passed, had to again follow it up - with the new date being months away.

I agree with the comments in regards to terrible online customer service. It is easier to buy a house than buying a product online with Oz design. I am still on the merry go round of trying to find out when my product will be delivered. It was ordered in July. I was told it was in the warehouse on 2/9/21 and on the 10/9 21 it is still not on a delivery truck. This leads me to believe the product is not in stock.I agree with many of the other reviews. Do not buy online products for Oz designed. It will cause you nothing be heartache

Purchased a hallway table and an entertainment unit. They were both delivered after a long wait (due to covid) which was fine. They had kept us up to do date with this.

After calling customer service to complain about the runaround I had been given, the person I had been dealing with refused to speak to me insisting I call the warehouse (again) as she was too busy. I was then hung up on when insisted she call me back. When she did she was passive aggressive and totally unhelpful. A month later I still did not have my delivery. I took to emailing weekly and got standard brush off emails saying I would be contacted soon. Never did anyone make one ounce of effort to sort the issue. Purchased a new sofa plus another piece of furniture. Firstly, products are of excellence quality. But that's why I purchased from them. What surprised and delighted was the excellent customer service from everyone in their business from customer service who follow up and do everything they can to help, to warehouse staff who call as soon as my sofa arrived and arranged delivery asap to the delivery guys who were punctual and polite.
