on paper, policy looked comprehensive and corresponded to what we needed. Staff on the phone very pofessional, friendly and helpful. However, had to cancel insurance before we could experience our travel.
I would certainly take it up again on future travels.

My first time using RAC travel insurance, thought this was a reliable company. I ended up fighting for months to be reimbursed and am still fighting. I was told to come home by a representative of the insurance company and did exactly that. Now I am inundated with trying to prove no preexisting condition, that I followed company directions. The stress has been overwhelming and I am devastated to be treated so unfairly. At no time was I given help to find a doctor and when I emailed asking them to call me they informed me that the company doesn’t make phone calls. I was terribly ill in Cairo and had absolutely no support.

Use RAC travel insurance when we can and fortunately this was not required to be used on this holiday. Always good to know you are insured when on holidays.

I have used RAC Travel insurance several times and find it easy to obtain on-line, including the coverage of Pre-Existing Medical issues, and the cost is fair when comparing to others of a similar service level and reputation. Also available for Rental Car Excess coverage only, which is convenient for travel within Australia.
