Watch out for misleading practices. Your Credit Card will be debited without explicit authority
Signed up for a 30 day trial. Less than two weeks into the trial, Regus debited my Credit Card for the next month's subscription. Won't cancel it. Refers to terms and conditions requiring 30 days written notice of intention to cancel Slippery outfit.

Stay away. Scammers.
applying service agreements. Hidden costs, fees and very dodgy practices. I would definitely not recommend this company or to enter into an agreement with them.

A fraud!
Horrible customer service! Billing issues and getting charged for optional services that was put on your bill without ever asking you was my problem with them for the first 7 months of my one year contract. Incorrect responses from the reception and help desk made the situation very frustrating. Do not rent an office from these guys even if they are the last office rentals on planet Earth!

Never EVER EVER
My contact number for the office at Bondi Junction was disconnected for a month and a month's credit was being processed. I wanted to cancel my service and they are insisting I pay until the end of February. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM EVER.

An absolute rip off - BEWARE !!!
These people are hopeless - and bordering on fraudulent. Bond has been withheld for over 3 months with no response. Charges imposed upon departing their premises are outrageous. If you are looking for premises - seriously consider avoiding these people at all costs. If I could have awarded a "negative star" - I would have !

They are a fraud - STAY AWAY
I wish I could give negative stars. Signed up for a $60 per month contract for 2 years. Few months in, they started taking out over $140 a month out of our credit card. This is an ongoing issue and I am fuming. They seriously need to be investigated and criminally charged.

Faceless owners/management that is dishonest
1. Day offices are offered on the contract but they do not provide day office spaces
2. Meeting room bookings are cancelled on the day of the meeting and you will not be advised
3. Virtual office service does not work. After a complaint from a client, I called my office number at 11 am and got the answering service say the office was closed and to call between 8 am and 5 pm
4. They will not return bond
5. Complaints to the account help go unanswered
6. UNAUTHORSEID WITHDRAWAL OF FUNDS - Instead of returning the bond, they have made an una...Read more

Can't recover bond! Rip off artists to the max, avoid at all costs
We did everything contractually correct. They took over $400 as a cleaning fee when we finished the lease which you would think would guarantee your bond back. Still waiting on our bond back after providing them with our account details 3 times. No taking it to ACCC and going legal.

totally scam
Regus... if I read those review earlier, I could completely avoid it. They are trying to steal your money whenever possible. I open membership for co-working space for 1 month only (as stated on their website duration 1month), but actually they automatically renew your membership for an additional month, which means no matter when you canceled your membership, they charge you an additional month. I never saw such a disgusting trick elsewhere... Scam Scam Scam...

Absolutely appalling accounting practices
We have been chasing our deposit money refund for 1 & 1/2 years now and they are still stuffing us around. They say they'll pay (after multiple emails, phone calls and escalations), then they don't and we're back to square one. I have never experienced such utter incompetence at any other place in my working history. Avoid like the plague!!!

Over charged
We were over charged, then informed they use an overseas company. They would not return over charged amount. Extremely bad service, they are dishonest and will not look after you when they make a bad error which they did to us!

Ultimo is a dump!! Complete with Chinese massage services.
So we are renovating our office and the team moved in to Regus Ultimo as a space for those who don’t want to work from home. What a dump. Just went in today and found a Chinese lady offering massages has moved in to one of the spare offices next to several of ours in Regus on the same floor. Like really???

Terrible Experience
Had a great person to show us through the place and during our stay they were very helpful. Unfortunately that is where the service ended. Our time there was in March and over three months later, yet to receive our bond back. Also received an invoice for two things we were not even made aware of. Use of kitchen and IT. None of this was mentioned to us. Also, asked about how we receive Qantas Points and they said they would take care of it, now they are telling me without proof I won't get them. No after sales service at all.

Read your terms and conditions and stop complaining because you couldn't be bothered
Regus are the worlds leading provider in office space so they must be doing something right. They are VERY transparent. Everything is in the terms and conditions you are provided for when you sign on. Everyone needs to stop complaining it is not Regus' fault you don't read what you sign. It's all there and you are made aware before you sign up for an office. I've been a Regus customer for years and they've never been a problem for me. In fact, they do everything they can to keep me here. The girls at reception are always lovely. 99% of these reviews here are just ridiculous and completely not true.

Just Terrible. They lied to me....
Honestly, not happy about Regus in the slightest.
On signing up we were totally misled regarding what we could and couldn't do as part of our agreement. We were of the impression that we could upgrade and downgrade our office size with minimal fuss. In truth, we couldn't. Only when we asked about downgrading we were informed that there is a $1000 'cleaning fee' when an office is vacated.
Now, when we moved in there were a couple of pin-holes in the walls and peeling paint at the top of two walls. I've painted enough walls in my time t...Read more
o know that they weren't re-painted. I rather suspect Regus make a tidy profit out of this fee. I would wak away now if I could and I've made it my mission to review this business at every available opportunity.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Worst service - never sign up!
I signed up with the understanding that they would always answer my phone with my business name. This only happened when the Wollongong Call Centre answered. But what I wasn't told was that my calls would also be answered by their Chatswood Office. They never answered with my business name and it confused my clients and potential clients. Often times the phone was not even answered. I lost a chunk of my business.
Now, a month after I terminated, they have debited me for another months service and trying to take another month. And I cant get past the receptionist who keeps "escalating" my request to stop taking my money!
Stay away from REGUS!!!!!

Money Grabbers - Avoid like the plague!
I regret ever walking in the door of Regus. They are happy, generous and accommodating before they sign you up, but once you're signed up you have no rights. Not allowed to use the address on marketing unless you pay more, cant do this, cant do that. They charge through the nose for everything.
Particularly concerning is the lack of privacy in the enclosed offices. They are very noisy. I could hear every phone and private conversation in the offices each side. I heard things I shouldn't know about my neighbors. There is no confidentiality.

Hi Guys, thanks for the heads up, saves me a lot of heartache. Is this just here in Australia or are their Asian offices just as bad? We have a business partner in the Philippines (Davoa) that we asked to check out his local Regus.

Based on my research they are just as bad globally as they are in Australia.
I’ve felt very aggrieved about my situation with Regus so I’ve done a lot of research on the company. They have an awful reputation in just about any territory you can think of.
Stay away from them.
Their financial department is in Malasia I believe and they are a global company. Their staff cant even get traction with management. I feel this contributed to how hard it was to get anything done. Read the fine print and then decide. That room exit fee is just exhorbitant. I was only there 2 months and they still processed it. I reversed it from my credit card as I was under the impression it kicked in after 3 months. See how we go. Goodluck.

Hi all,
I am looking for shared office space and was considering Regus until I read all these reviews. Thanks so much to all for taking the time to write about it and warn the rest of us! Has anybody tried Genesis offices? They are smaller and have only one location opposite Museum station as far as I can see. Any other shared office recommendations at reasonable prices? We are considering Genesis and Wework Pyrmont at the moment. Any advice or recommendations would be most welcome and appreciated!
Cheers,
Peter

stay clear of at work spaces no matter what you do, do not go there! We are preparing a case against them to get our bond back, as they are illegally holding money. They charge you $3.50 for an email to say you have mail, or someone waiting at the front desk. No maintenance has been done since they took over the property. Management are not helpful. Stay away.
I am currently sharing an office in Wynyard right next to the station. Big desks, lots of space and not too noisy. The Company that leases the desks is Aurora Design.
Good luck!

Hi, we're very unhappy Regus customers, stuck with them because they're refusing let us get out.
Unaware of their bad service, we signed up for a year contract with them on an auto debit of fees. Now after the year, they're not letting us cancel, and keep automatically debiting money.
Would any users on this site know if there is a board or authority we can complain to, anyone who can help us.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

You could go to Fair Trading but if the agreement is B2B they probably won't be much help. Read the fine print of your contract - pretty sure they cannot force you to renew your lease, provided you gave the required amount of notice etc. If you didn't give the required amount of notice, you may be stuck. You may need to seek legal advice - they are an unscrupulous company and an expert will give better advice than you'll get here.
Contact their Area Manager. Craige Marquart. He helped me to terminate my account. If you're on Twitter, send a tweet about your problem and say you wish to contact Craige. To Regus Asia office. Their customer service will reply and you can contact them with details. All the best.
Regus over charged us by $5000 and kept deducting money from my account without my permission. The only way it stopped was by cancelling my credit card and getting a new one. The bank refunded my money within 1 week and are now chasing Regus for fraud. Highly recommend removing your banking dets from their clutches.
