Unethical company

published

They sneakily auto renew your account for the same period you signed up for without warning. This means if you signed up for 12 months, they automatically renew another 12 months without any warning and you're stuck! Very unethical behaviour and not small business friendly (eventhough we are their target market). I hope one day someone takes them on and shut them down. They are absolutely disgraceful!

AVOID - They set me up with two accounts and then insisted I give 12 months notice to terminate one of them

Sam we could do a class action

Have been told after many years as a virtual office tenant that they want over 12 months notice to terminate ! Look guys, this is a scam, they know exactly what they are doing, making it as hard as possible to leave when this type of facility should be designed to make it easy to come in and out. That was the whole idea when this type of service started. I am consulting lawyers but they know that most people will just accept it. Don't let them get away with it. Oliver.

Do not recommend

published

Regus reception staff are horrible and unprofessional in the World Square Building. Toilets are never clean, and the room temperature is either too hot or too cold. I do not recommend this office space.

We have to stop this fraud

published

rented a virtual office, price was $211 per month. They charged me $268 because I wouldn't lock in contract and i need it for only one month. Also they asked me for $400 retainer. I used their office only 2 times and after 3 weeks gave them a termination notice i don't need it anymore. After 3 months still i couldn't get my retainer back also they are threatening me to pay another $322. $400+$268+$322=$990 i tried to ask their management to help but they're completely ignored me. If any body's ready to sue them we can make a group and stop them. I'm ready to take it to court.

poor internet

published

We are losing money because of the poor internet at e-com center, Pasay. Aircon is not turned on at 8:30am and we have to put a fan inside the office since aircon could not sustain a very small office space. It really sucks. I felt that I am being ripped off. Reading the reviews I hope I will get my money back coz I am terminating our contract 3 months prior to vacating the premises.

One of the great disaster stories of Australian business

published

This company is extraordinary. Never has an organisation but so completely lacking in interest in providing what they promise. It is breath-taking. I feel somewhat sorry for the staff. Regulators need to take action against their illegal activities.

Worst share office and experience ever

published

Incompetent, lack of transparent accounts department. Be warned, do not operate with these guys. They'll send fake invoices, double charge you and then claim they have no idea. Oh and they'll try their best to keep your bond. This company should be closed and banned to operate in Australia.

Spam calls in the middle of the night

published

I was interested in their service for the Sydney office. Since I submitted the form I've been receiving spam calls from the US. If I pick up they hang up and they call me again an hour later.
They called me several times in the middle of the night between 1am to 4am from different US numbers. I had to turn off my phone to get some sleep.
Stay away!

A Joke

published

Unusably slow internet, something like 10mbps coming into the whole building - Even though all advertising says things like "business grade internet", "fibre internet" etc. Can barely browse web pages on a good day.
False advertising.
Very hard to get any responses, and all these extra fees leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Pretty good service while there but terrible to give you the retainer back

published

Okay service while there but internet pretty slow. Terrible on exit. They hold on to your retainer for weeks and charge you for 'refurbishment' which they don't actually perform.

After sending an online inquiry, I received unlimited calls. Now, when I needed assistance to solve the incorrect invoicing and account duration. They overcharged us and signed us up for longer duration than we signed up for. They are quite arrogant. It's been 4 months and I am still waiting for it to be solved.

They shouldn't be in business.

Account problems that I disappeared from their system mysteriously unprovoked but they kept on charging my credit card while I didn't have access to their facility I was entitle to have access to, billing problems that figures were often wrong and took over 6months to fix a single issue, it has been ridiculously slow to act, frustrating and blood boiling. Don't get involved with them.

Hi Guys, thanks for the heads up, saves me a lot of heartache. Is this just here in Australia or are their Asian offices just as bad? We have a business partner in the Philippines (Davoa) that we asked to check out his local Regus.

Based on my research they are just as bad globally as they are in Australia.

I’ve felt very aggrieved about my situation with Regus so I’ve done a lot of research on the company. They have an awful reputation in just about any territory you can think of.

Stay away from them.

Their financial department is in Malasia I believe and they are a global company. Their staff cant even get traction with management. I feel this contributed to how hard it was to get anything done. Read the fine print and then decide. That room exit fee is just exhorbitant. I was only there 2 months and they still processed it. I reversed it from my credit card as I was under the impression it kicked in after 3 months. See how we go. Goodluck.

Hi all,

I am looking for shared office space and was considering Regus until I read all these reviews. Thanks so much to all for taking the time to write about it and warn the rest of us! Has anybody tried Genesis offices? They are smaller and have only one location opposite Museum station as far as I can see. Any other shared office recommendations at reasonable prices? We are considering Genesis and Wework Pyrmont at the moment. Any advice or recommendations would be most welcome and appreciated!

Cheers,

Peter

stay clear of at work spaces no matter what you do, do not go there! We are preparing a case against them to get our bond back, as they are illegally holding money. They charge you $3.50 for an email to say you have mail, or someone waiting at the front desk. No maintenance has been done since they took over the property. Management are not helpful. Stay away.

I am currently sharing an office in Wynyard right next to the station. Big desks, lots of space and not too noisy. The Company that leases the desks is Aurora Design.

Good luck!

Hi, we're very unhappy Regus customers, stuck with them because they're refusing let us get out.
Unaware of their bad service, we signed up for a year contract with them on an auto debit of fees. Now after the year, they're not letting us cancel, and keep automatically debiting money.
Would any users on this site know if there is a board or authority we can complain to, anyone who can help us.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Avoid Regus
Avoid Regus

You could go to Fair Trading but if the agreement is B2B they probably won't be much help. Read the fine print of your contract - pretty sure they cannot force you to renew your lease, provided you gave the required amount of notice etc. If you didn't give the required amount of notice, you may be stuck. You may need to seek legal advice - they are an unscrupulous company and an expert will give better advice than you'll get here.

Contact their Area Manager. Craige Marquart. He helped me to terminate my account. If you're on Twitter, send a tweet about your problem and say you wish to contact Craige. To Regus Asia office. Their customer service will reply and you can contact them with details. All the best.

Regus over charged us by $5000 and kept deducting money from my account without my permission. The only way it stopped was by cancelling my credit card and getting a new one. The bank refunded my money within 1 week and are now chasing Regus for fraud. Highly recommend removing your banking dets from their clutches.
