Terrible
Go to another builder, don't waste your time or money with this mob. Life is too short to put yourself through this...
Nothing, they nearly wrecked my marriage due to the stress of trying to build with them - worst thing I ever did. get used to lies, that is if you ever get a call back from the snakey sales consultant.
Dissapointing service and limited product range.

Terrible
Trust who can you trust, you cant trust this mob. Overcharge by 30% for extras but give no warranty for products supplied. Construction Manager is a liar. This company really needs to invest in their customer service and product training.

We are in construction at the moment (at lock up) and have had some major concerns regarding plumbing and workmanship on our home. Trying to get a call or email from the so called site supervisor is impossible. What ever happened to customer service and courtesy calls??? We would be happy with a phone call back and I don't mean the office girls leaving a voice message. It is really dissapointing to say the least. Hopefully we will end up with a beautiful home but we will have to drag Rossdale kicking and screaming to get things right. It shouldn't be this stressful and difficult.
Very helpful until building commenced
Customer service is non existant once the contracts are signed.

Nice to start with, suck you in with promises and bend over backwars until they have your deposit. Footings increased by $9000.00 for no reason and when asked it was "the price of steel has gone up". Anything changed will cost you a fortune, they put their own massive markup on items you want changed. The sales rep couldnt care less once he had our deposit.Our plans were redrawn 3 times due to the sales rep not listening and we were not allowed to deal with anyone but him so the mistakes kept comming. n so you could see what you were paying for but the quote was grouped together so you cant see individual prices. eventually we had enough and bought a house !. A few weeks later recieved a letter from rossdale demanding $1700.00 for plan redraws and gave us 14 days to pay before "legal action" and why were the plans redrawn??? because they drew them wrong !! For me it was a long process, taking about 2 years. I thank Rossdale Homes for their help and patients with me. Initially I had issues with council that dragged on for quite some time but my sales consultant was great and helped me through this process.
The drawing process was a little frustrating. I started with one the their standard designs and then modified it. I knew the modifications I wanted but couldn't make it fit on my block. After a couple of different drawings Rossdale came up with the perfect layout.

ed price contract. This allowed me to lock in the house price and then I knew exactly how much extra I had to spend on selections. I would definitely recommend keeping money aside to upgrade your selections. Once you see the upgrades available its hard not to change things and the costs can add up quick. Construction went smoothly and took about 6 months. Working full time I didn’t get to spend a lot of time on site so put a lot of trust in my supervisor to get things right. There were a couple mistakes along the way with contractors not reading things correctly, but at least these mistakes were fixed. Overall I am proud to say that I own a Rossdale Home. Fixed price contract, willingness to change their plan to suit my needs, fantastic sales consultant There were a couple minor mistakes along the way, but that was expected with such a big project like building a house. At least they admitted to the mistakes and rectified them. My one complaint would be that it took their door supplier 3 attempts to deliver the correct sliding door.Similar opinion? So far things have been good, a couple of little mistakes but nothing massive that was not easily fixed, about to start building in 3 weeks do will do a building review. All up pre construction has gone pretty smoothly but it is a long draw out process and our sales consultant waned us of this before we signed up.

From the time we started our build we have had no hassels if there was any thing that we needed fixed with the build it was done. Sales consultant was perfect. Site Supervisor just a top guy.. The only thing I have to complain about is the guy that did the insulation.. He was rude.. But then again they cant get everything right. I would definetly with out a doubt recommend Rossdale to any one. We are that impressed with them that we are looking at doing investment housing with them.. A job well done guys

To build a house there are many decisions to make. Rossdale guided us through these, and added their expertise which for our second house enhanced our design. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We have recommended Rossdale to others.
Rossdale has many display homes so we were able to have a really good look at floor plans and fittings. We have built two homes with Rossdale. Loved the end result. It took 7 months from contract signing and we were in our home. Supervisor was very helpful and always polite. Loved the fact that they had more products to choose from and it' would have been great if they were all in one location or even better if they were under one roof. The company who supplied our tiles used substandard tiles and the whole roof had to be replaced as every second tile was cracked or broken. We also had our carpet replaced thanks to my persistance as you could not vacuum it. So beware of inferior produ...Read more
cts. Make sure what you choose is what you get. These two problems were not Rossdales fault and they stood by us. You can also withold your progress payment until things are done correctly. We love our home and would build with Rossdale again. Fixed price contract. Our guy we had at the show home was very, very helpful. Do you not check that stone bench tops are cut to the correct dimensions for cook top. Have just found out mine was cut too big and the miake covered up with glue and metal strips. Now need new cooktop and the size that should fit can't, it falls through looks like it will be expensive to fix. Any ideas please Rossdale? I built with you because I believed you were a trustworthy company and I paid a lot of money to have a beautiful home Your motto is Trust is a Must I am now trusting you to help fix this problem after all one does.not look under cooktops when doing the inspection awaiting your reply in good faith Marjorie Smart

We have given the initial deposit for a land and home package for a Rossdale estate. Having read these reviews we have started getting a bit worried as its our first home. Has anyone ever had an experience with them with an estate?

Hi, from what I have heard from others, if you have a problem you seem to have continuous problems, they can't manage it. If it runs well at the beginning it is ok through the project. They just don't seem to have a culture that fixes problems.
