Best Phone I've Owned
This is hands down the best phone I've owned. The 128 GB Ram version only has 6 GB of ram which can slow things down. The phone gets a little hot when using with a VR headset for 30 mins plus.

Samsung owner for life!
Best mobile phone I have ever owned. Fully featured, love that the fingerprint scanner has been relocated on Note 9. Camera is brilliant, I rarely use my DSLR camera these days.
Needs to be in a cover or case, being all glass it is easily damaged. Apps all run smoothly. Device management is simple. Love the smart pen feature. Love the differing levels of security on this phone. Facial recognition is quick and reliable even in low light..no more risking others seeing your PIN or pattern when accessing the phone.

Awesome!
All features are so easy to use on this phone. This is my first note and i absolutely love it. Camera is so clear. I use the phone for games and other general use mostly texting, voice texting etc... and all apps work great. Brightness control is so good you can change all in settings. Very satisfied.

Samsung Care has been a disaster to deal with. This alone ruins the Samsung experience.
The phone was behaving pretty good — then 6 weeks in I started to notice odd errors. From slow text key responses, then to the assistant menu literally “spazzing” out all over the place before settling and unable to unlock the phone.
The issues were sporadic. On return the phone was scratched (!) but I was able to remove it, and the S Pen nib blunt (!) — so much for the “care” aspect being delivered to customers.
I would not recommend a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 after this experience which is tarnished by the Care received or lack thereof.
Purchased in December 2021.

No words. So disappointed and let down.
The phone was behaving pretty good — then 6 weeks in I started to notice odd errors. From slow text key responses, then to the assistant menu literally “spazzing” out all over the place before settling and unable to unlock the phone. This was reported in detail to Samsung who proceeded to take my phone and send it away. I was told I would hear within 2 days the outcome. I never received a phone call. I called them on three occasions and was guaranteed a call back. Not once was I called. Then last call I eacalated it to VOC who didn’t share nor ...Read more
care — but did say my phone was being returned and was blatantly a software issue (all they did was reset the phone, something they could have been done from home). Upon return the service notes did not indicate the issue to be investigated. All they did was reset the phone and it worked — no surprise. The issues were sporadic. This experience has been horrible to say the least and without the phone for a week and a half. What could Samsung do? Nothing solved just a set of movie tickets. The catch? On return the phone was scratched (!) but I was able to remove it, and the S Pen nib blunt (!) — so much for the “care” aspect being delivered to customers.2 comments

Love the Bluetooth pen functionality
Including point the pen at foreign language and it will translate.
Write notes onto screen as soon as unlock pen from phone,
So many other options, I don't even own a computer anymore as this phone with DEX actually becomes my computer onto tv screen without any other parts required to purchase.
The in built speakers are actually amazing lol.

Very functional.
I have had this phone now for nearly three months. I switched back to Samsung after 7 years with another brand. For me the stylus and associated options for use is the shining star here. Love it. So easy to take notes on screen shots, hand write quick notes or more detailed documents and hand write on what's app. Very functional.

Very very good.
This is the first android phone that I have actually liked and enjoyed the unique features it offers. I used to like iOS simplicity but since switching I have found androids features to be eye opening. The hardware is very capable for everything I do. I use it for youtuve. Filming 4k. And gaming on PUBG. My only gripe is that I though all version were dual Sim. But actually only note 9 that is bought outright from Samsung are dual Sim.

Excellent, I absolutely love this phone.
Samsung has never disappointing me, I don't remember using an iPhone for longer than a week or two, and end up missing my Samsung. with this device, yet again Samsung has exceeded expectations, it's just perfect and I am hoping to use it for a good 3 to 4 years. The picture/video quality is beautiful, the sound is crystal clear and loud, at 128GB it's perfect for me as I am not a heavy user, the battery lasts my nearly two days, with fast charging there is nothing to not like about this phone, it is the real deal.

Now that I have one, I can't go back.
Every Now and then the phone does crash and stutters. Sometimes it cannot handle what it's suppose to handle. The camera is excellent the editing apps and software is great. Even in the dark you can still take a selfie and see it clearly. The durability of the phone is one of the best so far. So I can't complain. Brightness of the screen is dangerous and can affect the eye's. I use my phone for business purposes only. It's a great way to do business.

A faithful Apple customer no more
I have had the note 9 for just a week. As a long time (all-time actually) Apple faithtful phone owner, I finally made the switch to Note 9 -- and boy I'm glad I did! Once upon a time android phones were very unstable, ugly, and had poor app design, and these were the reasons I never made the switch, but those problems seem to have been solved for the most part. I may be somewhat biased on this review having never experienced the customisability of Android, nor a phone with a stylus, however I find the note 9 is stunning in it's design, speed, a...Read more
nd the customisation options are still wowing me (as I discover them) even after a week. I should also mention here that I switched from the Iphone 6s and the size was a huge concern for me to begin with, however I am absolutely loving the large screen and after just a day of using the new phone I cannot believe I was worried, nor would i have any interest in going back to a phone the size of an iphone 6. The stylus for all my purposes works beautifully -- I would have liked angle detection, but I'm no artist so that's not a real concern for me, I would only use the stylus for the most part with planning digital UI's. Performance wise, there are some very slight hiccups in responsiveness eg. on the odd occasion I tap the home button and nothing happens for a second etc. but no major issues that I didnt also come to expect on Apple devices (which I use as a gauge for reliability and stability). The app world of Android was also quite surprising to me -- all those apps that I loved and enjoyed and PAID FOR on the Apple ecosystem -- all free on android, say what now?Similar opinion? Very happy Apple convert
Decided to give this phone a go, having owned two iPhones prior.
This phone is the real deal.
This model feels and looks like a premium product- the back is sleek and modern, and feels great in your hand. The range of features the phone offers are really fun- primarly, its Pen feature. I thought the pen a bit silly at first, but am now constantly using it to write notes and doodle when bored.
The phone offers a lot more customisation than my last iphone (7 plus) and has OUTSTANDING screen and sound quality.
I think I might just stay with Samsung, if this is anything to go by..

Samsung - Worst ecommerce
Worst e-commerce in Australia.
In the age of customer-centric retailing nothing is more valuable to a retailer than its reputation. one negative experience can force shoppers to the competition, Samsung e-commerce have comfortably earned so many negative reviews that no one should ever buy from their website.

d that my phone was lost in transit and they are sending another one and I will receive it on 12th December. After chasing them on 12th dec and 13th December, I am being informed that my phone is again no where to be found. I feel like I am football between team Samsung and team Startrak, and this match is ongoing for past 10 days now. I have requested them many time for pick up from any store or from warehouse physically but this is not possible, Refund is also not an option as they have to wait for phone to come back to warehouse. My call is always answered in Philippines and no one have contacted me locally and neither they have provided me with any contact within australia and all they do is escalate the case and ask me to wait. AI Does not Work
Ever since purchasing the Samsung Not 9 the AI does not work and Bixby overpowers or shuts down Good AI - unable to get the phone to respond to my voice. Can't get google to respond or Bixby to understand my voice - Keeps stating to me "Google is offline" - Even though I am on Telstra 4G network and full bars and no signal loss. There is a problem with the phones AI and Samsung do not like to admit it. Massive difference to Google Pixel 2 which listens and picks up my voice halfway across the room. Not worth $1499, a premium for a service you do not get.

How do I get music from my desktop to my note 9?
2 answers
if you meant mp3 then you can copy the files via usb cable. On Note 9 pull down notification panel and change USB mode for file transfer
PhilSamsung
Hi Robert,
You can click and drag certain music files from your PC to device.
1). Connect your device via cable to a PC
2). On your PC, when it prompts you what action you'd like to make with the device - Select open files
3). In the device, find the music folder
4). Click, drag and drop the music file into the device's music folder
Easy as that.
