Sales staff are fantastic. Final execution of build dismal. Got footing levels wrong by 400mm which was critical for a split level home.
Supervisor was pleasant but ineffective, and would not commit to anything on paper or in writing for fear of responsibility for his promises. This review is maybe somewhat out of date but its an experience we had when we built with Sarah Homes in 2003. A friend of ours has had similar major problems building with them recently which has brought the whole experience back to us, so maybe nothing has changed over the last 10 years.
After building with Sarah Homes I would never sign a contract to build with any builder again without a solicitor present! These people have made an 'art form' out of playing with words!

Sarah homes overall delivered exactly what I wanted and to a very high standard. I absolutely recommend them and would use them if I were to build again. Despite a custom design, I found the whole process ran smooth and in a timely manner which was pleasing after experiencing small delays with council and major issues with nab in regard to financial approval it was nice to know sarah homes knew their own products and obligations to their client.

We used a standard design that we heavily modified to fit onto our suburban block as a detached extension that added a teen retreat/extra bedroom and bathroom. The Sarah consultant and office staff made what was a protracted planning and council approval process significantly easier, were easy to work with and offered useful input at all stages. Our experience with the sales consultant was very positive. She was very accommodating to our many changes and went above and beyond her official role throughout the building process to assist us. We were unprepared for selections so found the process a little daunting but found that the selections consultant was patient and helpful.

We built the Lawson two storey. From the start our experience with Sarah homes was great, our sales consultant was very helpful and we felt very comfortable with him. The selection process was also quite easy, although we had a bit of trouble when wanting to make a change to a tile colour but that all got sorted out in the end. Had the Streeton two storey holiday house built by Sarah Homes in 2008. Went through the usual process with the salesman who really didn't know what he was doing and didnt have answers to many questions. Anyway we went through the documents, spoke to a few people and were advised to select certain supervisor to build our holiday house.
