The house had a lot of defects, with all the people that followed us around on handover day, weren't concerned or embarrassed at all. These are just a few of the items listed below, otherwise too boring a read.
They may be small to the builder but to the homeowner who has to work for a lot of years to pay the house off, to be reminded every day that he has been handed over a sub par building is demoralising least of all upsetting.

We contracted Strongbuild in 2012 to "knock down " an existing poorly built/maintained house we had bought on a 6 acre block in the Southern highlands.
The whole experience has been excellent.

They have substandard quality control. They let the owners oversee the major defects and repairs that need to be done, and the others they refuse to work on. Leaking roofs, leaking walls, indoor flooding, uneven floors protruding sharp tiles that cut our feet, screws fitted into the air, broken panels are a fraction of what they are accomplished at. They make up all kinds of nonsensical excuses. If they put as much work into their actual job as they do for their excuse-making and cover ups, they'd be able to lift their game.
