The Tempur Stockholm Cloud Soft has been beyond a serious let down compared to Tempur themselves who “genuinely believe they are the best in the world”. I brought this piece of so called “NASA invented technology mattress” on the 20/05/2017 from Domanye. (If I won a free trip to the moon and back I will defiantly be giving that a miss with the rocket lined with Tempur products). If you are lucky enough to fall asleep there is a good chance that you will wake up in a dream state of mind believing that you are in the middle of the Sahara Desert...
Read more with the amount of sweat pouring off your body. If that doesn’t happen then there is a good chance that you will wake up with serious aches and pains. These aches and pains are notorious if I am not experiencing these briefly before going to sleep the next morning I will feel like have been punched by a championship boxer. Two days ago, I woke up after sleeping on the Tempur mattress and became alarmed when my lower back was severely sore. It was that intense of pain that I thought my right kidney was failing, that’s how bad the pain was. It slowly disappeared after laying flat on my stomach and got up do my usual things in the morning. If I can’t sleep on the mattress at night I have to commonly remove myself to the couch which is extremely comfy and snuggle compared to this thing called a mattress. I have tried a lot of approaches to try and comfort the mattress from using a mattress topper, removing the guardsman mattress protector, rotating the mattress, laying on top of a donna and lastly a double folded donna. NONE have worked. I cannot believe how I have wasted my hard-earned money to be let down so miserably. I am lost for words for the mattress and how much money has been wasted. Please if you read this and thinking of buying one DON’T cause at first it was ok now it beyond disbelief how bad this mattress is.- Date Purchased
I wish I have done my research before I purchased Cloud 21. It is quite telling that is is now discontinued.
I bught this mattress from Snooze Essendon 3 month ago as I was told tempur was good for relieving back pain.
The first few weeks I woke up feel my back pain actually get intensified because the mattress was so soft.
not sure whether it's just temporary so I decided to try more weeks until my morning back pain become more and more obvious. To a point that I can only sleep on my sides as lying on my back on this tempur mattresses f...

Have been waking up with acute lower back pain since sleeping on this mattress. Mattress has become very soft and unsupportive and it’s been difficult to get a good nights sleep. I’m spending $ on continued chiro and physio treatments. I am trying a mattress topper to see if that helps. I’m not surprised mattress has been discontinued. I’m bitterly disappointed with this expensive purchase.

My husband and I did a lot of research before buying our tempur mattress. At first it was firm, but after time we were waking up with extremely sore bodies!! I thought we had wasted our money and contacted the sales rep to complain. She put me in contact with the Tempur team who explained about the 'cells ' amd that we needed to persist with the mattress. Boy was she right after about 4 months we didn't have any problems, and sleeping is extremely comfortable! Never wake up achey painy. I am so happy with this mattress and encourage everyone to persist.

Best Mattress I have ever purchased. I have had the mattress now for three years and I now hate going away because I have to sleep on a different mattress. I have 2 bulging disks in my back and had gone through 4 new mattresses in 5 years with all of them after lying down for 5hours sleeping I had to get up as my back would start playing up. Now if my wife does not wake me up I can sleep for 10hrs +
I am buying another one for our spare room so when I am in the dog house an furst to sleep in there I with doing in comfort.
For me it was just perfect from the first night slepp but my wife it took her a few weeks or so to get use to it she now just loves it.

My husband and I rarely suffered back pain before buying a tempur mattress. When we first received our mattress we were thrilled about how comfortable it actually was. When we slept away from home we longed to go home and sleep in our own bed. However over time, we have found that the mattress is actually causing us to wake up with excruciating back pain. It isn’t supportive at all. It is also a very hot mattress which doesn’t allow your body to breathe. I would never purchase a tempur Mattress again, so sad we wasted over $4000.

I purchased my mattress 15mths ago after much research, asking questions and trying them out in store. I have Arthritis plus reflux and problems sleeping due to medications and sleep Anea. I was literally getting hardly any sleep until I purchased this amazingly comfortable mattress. I am a large girl and needed a very soft supportive mattress to enable me to lay on my side without feeling any pressure on painful shoulders and hips. Because of needing to sleep with my upper body elevated at times I purchased my mattress together with an adj...
Read moreustable base to allow sleeping in the wonderful zero gravity position. The first few nights of sleeping on my side I awoke with pain in my back but as the mattress cells opened up after a few weeks I had no problems and was pain-free in bed and on waking. Initially I found it difficult moving and turning on the mattress and felt cast but that was just because it was unlike anything I'd ever slept on before and now I can turn and get up out of bed easily. When sleeping on my side I actually don't move as there is no pressure at all. I was concerned about not being able to use an electric blanket but use good quality cotton flanalette sheets which make the bed nice and warm and if I'm really cold I use an electric fur throw with a timer over me which is wonderful. I've found that I can get out of a warm bed and pull the covers up and return to the bed 3 hours later and under the blankets the mattress is still warm...unbelievable!! In summer I use good quality high thread count 100% cotton sheets (always a fitted bottom sheet). I also purchased Tempur pillows that are shaped on one side for sleeping on your back and the other side supports the neck for side sleeping. I also have a long Tempur body pillow to hug into and put my leg up on for side sleeping...so comfortable!! I have a queen size bed, adjustable base together with Tempur pillows. All up I spent just under NZ$10,000; yes you will spend a lot for some decent sleep and I have not EVERregretted my purchase; absolutely the most fabulous mattress!!!!! I worry about staying away from home as I know I'll have problems again without my Tempur.- Date Purchased

We bought a cloud type mattress about 2 years ago. After just 3 months in became too soft and made many back pain for my wife and I. By chance they accepted it as a faulty mattress and gave us credit to choose another tempura mattress however that took about 3 months. We picked the firm model this time. The same issue happened after about 5 months. But after 4 months following up they did not accept the issue this time. They said it has been designed to be like this. 2 months later we decided to throw it out. We did and bought a simple firm spring mattress instead which cost just about %30 of the tempura. And it is still working more comfortable than that.

Hi, Amir.
We're disappointed that you feel this way about our mattresses. I genuinely believe our mattresses are the best in the world. ...
Read more I've been and had a chat with customer service and they can't find an email from anyone with the limited information I can deduce from the ieatwords site. Did you submit a claim through a store or contact us directly? I only ask as I would like to familiarise myself with your claim, before giving a more in depth response to your review. I'll also ask a couple of questions to best grasp the ins & outs of your situation: ~ Did you use an electric blanket with your mattress? ~ Did you use high thread count sheets on the mattress? ~ Is your bedroom warm during the night? Generally, our mattresses do get softer after a period of time, this being like most manufactured products. However, the model our customers try in the retail store is closest to what the mattress will feel like when you've gotten it home and slept on it for a few weeks/months. This change in feeling is due to the material the mattress is made of. This material being visco-elastic, the interconnected cell structure changes shape due to the heat and weight of the body allowing the body to be perfectly aligned during the night. In regards to your situation, the qualifications in order to have your mattress replaced by us come down to TEMPUR's 10-year full replacement warranty, this covers a large number of faults in the mattress, and if a customer experiences one of the faults outlined in our extensive warranty then we will replace the mattress for you free of charge. Most notably, if the mattress dips and has a valley of 2cm or more in the 10 years of coverage, then we replace it for you. This exceeding the industry standard and the vast majority of our competitors. If a claim was made to us, I can only assume that in the first instance, the claim was sufficient to warrant a replacement, however, in the second case it was not and therefore your mattress couldn't be replaced. As I said, I haven't yet familiarised myself so I don't wish to jump to conclusions. Regardless of whether your mattress was or wasn't replaced, this isn't the fault of customer service in our Australiam H/O, they don't have the ability to replace mattresses on a discretionary basis, all claims are sent from us (in Aus) to our parent company in Denmark, at which point they then decide whether the mattress 'fault' warrants a claim or not. Hope this clears up a few things for you, and look forward to receiving your response. - LCHi, it is good to see someone cares about the costumer's feedback. I have some emails which can explain what had happened. I can send them to you if you leave an email address for me. Thanks
Of course, Amir. Would be great to chat some more about your experience with TEMPUR and the team.

The Tempur Cloud 25 is an absolutely awful mattress. I bought it only 10 days ago and nobody mentioned this mattress had been discontinued. It is very uncomfortable. I can only sleep soundly when I take a sleeping tablet. If you lie on the mattress it initially feels soft and then you sink into it. However, once you have sunk into the mattress you start to feel all sorts of bumps, ridges and creases created by the mattress protector, your sheet, your pjs or nighty.
I contacted Tempur who wrote "Tempur is what we call an open cell stru...
Read morectured product which means when you first receive the mattress, the cells will be closed and with time and use the cells start to open and make the mattress feel more like the one you would have tried in the retail store. I recommend to take the mattress off the base and walk over it and that will help speed the process of the cells opening". I must say that helped a bit. How often do I have to do that??? With regard to the bumps, ridges and creases they recommended: "pulling your sheets tight under your mattress and this will help them to stop moving a little bit". " Tempur also thinks I should have noticed what the mattress felt like in the store saying "The mattress after all this treatment should feel like the one you would have tried in the retail store" but that mattress did not have a mattress protector or sheet on it so in no way could I have imagined that it would end up sleeping on creases, ridges and other bumps despite pulling it as tight as I can. Once you sink through the initial soft part of the mattress, the mattress becomes quite firm. It is horrible that such an expensive mattress is so uncomfortable. I would not recommend anyone to buy this mattress if they are still selling it. I am very unhappy with this mattress. It is no surprise they have discontinued it.- Date Purchased
Hi, Ms Hartman.
I've familiarised myself with your correspondence with Customer Service and the discussions you've had regarding your experience with your TEMPUR product. ...
Read more Unfortunately, I can't really provide much more of a solution than customer service has already given you. You mention that you purchased the mattress only 10 days ago (at the time of submitting your first review), due to TEMPUR having such a huge improvement in support & comfort from what the vast majority of what our customers have slept on previously, we recommend that our new customers sleep on their mattress for at least 6-8 weeks in order to get used to the improved feeling and support from their TEMPUR mattress. This learning curve may seem counterintuitive, however, once this has occurred the vast majority of customers never want to sleep on any other mattress. TEMPUR provides support and comfort regardless of how you choose to sleep, hence, "all you feel is weightless." If your discomfort is still the case after this period, I can nearly guarantee you are sleeping on the wrong TEMPUR mattress. At best guess and with limited knowledge of the situation, in your personal scenario, I would guess that the Cloud mattress is too soft for you, this being due to the way you describe how you feel on the mattress. In regards to how your mattress protector is providing discomfort, the best advice I can give is what customer service has suggested, which is to pull the sheet tight on your mattress. Further, for all intents and purposes, this is not the fault of the mattress, more the fault of the specific protector on your mattress. You previously mentioned to customer service that you suffer from insomnia, this may also play a part in your difficulties with falling asleep. Customer service is also correct in that, TEMPUR is an open cell structure and kneeling on the mattress will make it feel more like the one you tried in the retail store. You'll only have to do this once. When the cells have been opened up they don't close again. As mentioned in an email with CS, you said this made the mattress feel better. In terms of the best course of action, I would recommend going into the store of purchase and submitting a customer service claim. As mentioned by customer service, we can't replace the mattress for you unless there is a manufacturing fault in the mattress, however, our award winning customer service team will work to get the best result for you, and if there is a warranty claim available, we are more than happy to replace the mattress for you. We have strong faith in our product with our 10-year full replacement guarantee, whereby we will replace the mattress no questions asked if the mattress dips by any more than 2cm during this 10-year period, as many other industry exceeding standards covered under our warranty. In regards to the discontinuation of the Cloud range, this is not the case, we still offer the Cloud range to all retail stores, the only difference in the TEMPUR range is a change of design and the look of the mattress itself. I'm looking to get in touch with my contact from ieatwords and some point today to discuss why this has occurred for you. I'm also unsure where you found the page which outlines the Cloud mattress as a 'soft and firm' mattress, this is not the case. The cloud collection is the softest mattress collection we offer. If you could, please send a link to the relevant page from the au.tempur.com website to [email protected], if this is the case, as if so it needs to be altered. Apologies I couldn't provide any additional information. At the very least I hope this clarifies some issues you may have had. - LewisDear Lewis

Read morer. It is absolutely detrimental for my insomnia. Last week my daughter sat on my mattress. I told her she could not to sit on it. She said "what an awful mattress. How can you sleep on it?" It totally squashes on one side if you sit on it. In summer my sheets bunch up in the middle because it dips soo much in the middle. I am 65 kilos so not a heavy weight spread over 175 cm height. I hate to think how deep it dips if you are a heavy weight. I would definitely never waste my money buying a Tempur mattress. We've had this mattress for 3.5 years now. It is still the most comfortable mattress that we have ever slept on. There is no partner disturbance and it is a very supportive, yet soft mattress.
The only downside is that you can't use electric blankets, but I would never change to another mattress.

Horrible mattress and very expensive
The foam is full of chemicals and give off gasses for many years.
I wish I knew what I know now about mattresses before buying rubbish for ridiculous prices..
I'd had bought an organic ( chemical or VOC free mattress and spring free) you shouldn't have springs in your bed since it works as a antena for radiation. it's proven to increase breast cancer.
I'm a naturopathic doctor and seriously believe we should do a lot of research before choosing a mattress.

We purchased this very expensive mattress ($3000) last week and both my husband and I have woken up with excruciating back, shoulder and hip pain every morning! We called the store to see what our options were for refund or exchange and we were told to give it a couple more days and see how we feel. Our backs are feeling worse! I ended up moving onto the lounge last night and my husband ended sleeping in the spare room on a $200 mattress just to get a good night sleep. We had a latex mattress for 10 years and have slept on plenty hotel room beds yet never experienced anything like this before. We are so disappointed with this piece of rubbish and hope to God we can get a refund so that we can buy something usable! :(

I purchased the Tempur Cloud King mattress from Domayne in Fortitude Valley, QLD. We looked at a number of different mattresses and thought that the Tempur being as expensive as it was with Nasa space technology etc, it MUST be worth its weight in gold. How wrong were we! Read morend we both woke up with sore shoulders and backs. At this stage, we were quite worried, but thought we would give our bodies some time to get accustomed to the new mattress. So on we went, sleeping on it for about 6 weeks and still feeling hot and uncomfortable, waking up with sore backs and shoulders. I decided to give Tempur a call to see if they were able to assist us. When I called up, the operator advised that it takes months to get accustomed to the mattress and that we ought to stomp all over the mattress to 'open up the cells'. They also said that the overheating was the mattress' way of providing 'blood circulation' benefits. I was dismayed at this. For $5,000 you wouldn't expect to have to stomp all over the mattress and overheat. One of the contributors of a good night's sleep is for it to be cool not hot!! Another couple of weeks passed and I contacted Tempur again, and this time, the operator basically said there was nothing they could do for us and we were stuck with it. For such an expensive product, Tempur do not offer any satisfaction guarantees. This should have been a warning sign! A company that does not back it's product or provide any assistance to the customer post purchase should raise alarm bells. We are now basically stuck with a lemon and there's no recourse. I now sleep in our guest bedroom where we have a pocket spring mattress. Please, if you're considering purchasing a Tempur mattress, just don't. You will regret it!! Its an odd thing reviewing a bed because you don't know how to gauge your sleeping. At first I thought we had wasted about $7k on a split king with adjustable base (don't know the model - its a medium I think). The feel of foam is different and at first didn't like it. Now however, I realise that my sleeps are great. I can sleep in now. I can wake up at say 5am and get to sleep again. Loving it. No regrets, but will take 2 weeks to appreciate it, or it did for me anyway.

While this mattress is comfortable to sleep on it does tend to get hot in the middle of the night/late morning. We purchased with a treated pine slat base. After 7 months we have rolled the mattress over and were shocked to find black mould growing between the mattress and the slats. I am not sure if this occurs between the mattress and the manufacturers bases (tempur-pedic foundation) but I'd strongly advise against buying this mattress with a base that has timber slats. Clearly an incompatibility issue here.

Absolutely dreadful and nothing like what we tried in the store. 18 months down the line Tempur not interested and just about everything aches. Deluxe is the wrong word and if I was to lay on the lounge floor it would be similar in comfort. This is a company that takes your money and has no further interest in any individual and simply play the numbers game. Too hot, too hard, too expensive! Go and buy anything else but this. Very very poor from Tempur just grabbing your money and claiming products are good for you. Looks the landfill for this over priced bit of foam!

We had a Dunlopillo latex mattress for 15 years, and it did last very well, but in the end sadly had to be replaced. After doing some research and trying quite a few mattresses in stores, the Tempur seemed like a modern equivalent to our faithful old Dunlopillo. How wrong we were! Initial smell disappeared OK, we were prepared to give it a few weeks to "bed in" / warm up / mould to our body shape etc. My wife was accepting of the new mattress as it was better for her than the 15 y.o. one we had. The base we have is the Dunlopillo slatted one and we have tightened up all the slats to maximum rigidity and they are rock solid and close together. It was not a cheap mattress at $2,750 (on special apparently) so very disappointed.
