When I first bought the Cloud 21 mattress, about 3 1/2 years ago, it was wonderful. I am a side sleeper and it was like sleeping on a soft cloud while keeping my spine in perfect alignment. I was thrilled for about 6 months.
Unfortunately, since then it has deteriorated to the extent that it no longer supports my spine. The mattress still looks great but when I lie on it the whole mattress collaspses around me into a large dip with a mound in the middle and no real support. I am now left with a very saggy mattress and a return of my back and neck problems that were only relieved for a few months following purchase and as we are aged pensioners we cannot afford to replace it. Purchased in July 2018 at Harvey Norman for $4,500.
We were given the run around from the get-go from the agent (name withheld) with the firm mattress ordered but it was like a slab of timber. Then we had a long drawn out wait for the replacement softer mattress and we've had to make do as its the softest option but didnt feel much different from the firm option. Whenever I tried memory foam mattress in store, I always found them way to hard. Until I came across Tempur Cloud range. It felt fantastic in the store, I ended up buying the Geneva Cloud Elite with the Ease adjustable bases and I absolutely love it. Read more come. My last spring mattress dipped in the middle within weeks. With the cloud it’s so soft yet I feel totally supported at the same time. I waiting for the cooling mattress protector to arrive as it’s on back order. I’m excited about that as when I was in the store I put my hand inside the packet of a mattress protector and t was so cool to touch. Our tempur mattress was great when we first got it 4 years ago however at the almost 3 year mark the mattress started to collapse on my husband’s side (average size male). When I called customer service (any issues with tempur needs to be dealt with through them not at place of purchase) they said it had to have a certain depth measurement for it to be considered for replacement. It is a ridiculous measurement and in saying that ours was only half a cm off. Not very happy with this product or customer service. If I had to recommend one it would be HB Beard. Our daughter has one and it’s so comfortable!

Read more It sounds as if you have spoken to our customer service team, if you haven't, please give them a call on 1300 306 062 as they are the best people to talk to in order to have any issues resolved. In regards to your queries, much like all mattress brands there needs to be a defined measurement within the warranty for your product, for TEMPUR this is 2cm, which is a leader in the industry, with the warranty providing a full replacement if your mattress has an indentation of 2cm or more. This is a standard practice across all brands, with many brands having 5-7cm indentations needed before a warranty claim is available, this being alongside a slew of other terms and conditions to be adhered to. Again, I apologise that your experience with TEMPUR hasn't been what you expected, please feel free to follow up with our customer service team if you have any further questions. - LCI had my Tempur Cloud 22 for 5 years when sagging occurred (not common fault and loved the mattress). The Tempur Australia team were very helpful. One year ago i provided photos and other requirements. The Cloud 22 was promptly replaced. I am once again in awe of the mattress, no pins and needles in hands and feet (as experienced previous mattresses owned), I don't find it hot. Love how light it is for making the bed. Thank you Tempur Australia, I can't see myself on any other brand of mattress. A special mention for Dimity from Tempur. Outstanding.

The firmness collapsed after 1 Yr and tried to get a claim and was told that this was normal. So when you choose medium firmness after 1 Yr old you get really soft and no support that's right I was told. Never again.

I bought this mattress from Harvey Norman, specifically ask for a hard/firm one and got recommend a Tempur. It was firm at first, then... it just gets softer and softer. get to the point that I can't stand the back pain anymore. Have finally bought an all latex one and my back pain is gone. After 8.5 years with a King Koil we needed to replace our mattress. We believed the hype of the wine glass on one corner and someone jumping on the opposite without the wine glass tipping, and thought this was for us.
We got it in the Boxing Day sale from Harvey Norman, and it got delivered TWO MONTHS later! That was the start. Then we complained. Then, after 6months and 5 times of asking them (Harvey Norman customer service) to call the correct mobile number, we were told we come exchange.
The Tempur mattress performed as well as our 8.5year old King Koil in terms of partner disturbance (shockingly bad), was hot as hell (the irony of it supposedly being a ‘cool touch’) and resulting in one of us needing sleeping pills!
Purchase a mattress and after two weeks of using it I was experiencing back aches and waking up so stiff. I put a claim through and had a rep named [Name Removed] come out and rotated the mattress( tempur claim that you never need to rotate there mattresses) after rotation my husband is experiencing the back aches. According to tempur the pain experiencing is my body adjusting and aligning to the mattress. I believe I purchased a faulty mattress that is firmer on one side and not the other. According to the rep it’s because of my bed frame with is a total bull. My cheaper mattress of 10 years did a better job.

Read more You're exactly right, you shouldn't need to rotate your mattress, this is one of the many benefits of purchasing with TEMPUR, the only reason you would've had to rotate is if it was installed upside down (and I'm sure that wasn't the case). I'll look to contact Ben and discuss why this was the case. In the meantime, I'd recommend kneeling over the mattress, this opens up the cells and helps to soften up the mattress, making it more like the product you tried in store. TEMPUR does take some time to 'bed-in,' this process, usually, takes around 4-8 weeks to feel the same as the item you tried in store. This is like any manufactured product, it won't feel the same on day 1 as it does on day 1000, adapting to you and the way you use it throughout the journey you take it on. In regard to your product being faulty, we have an extensive 10-year guarantee which covers a number of faults, of which we have less than a .5% return rate overall. Ben is a fantastic TEMPUR representative and if there was a claim available, I guarantee he would've taken the opportunity to ensure you had the best product possible and replaced it for you. If you still feel your product is faulty, please re-contact customer service and discuss issues with them, they are the best people to deal with your claim & always endeavour to get the best available outcome for our customers. I purchased this mattress in Feb 18 and till today I still find it uncomfortable.. I used to go to sleep saying I love my bed and now I feel OMG Im going to bed. I should have bought a bed that you could try and if you didn't like it I could return it. After paying $4,500.00 for a mattress that I hate and unless there is a Manufacture problem then they can not do anything about it. Well the shop has had many people sit on and off these beds and then you are expected to try the bed for 20min in the shop and expect to know if its the right one. I would never recommend TEMPUR ever. If you want a good mattress go to Duck mattresses and get one from them you get better results. If someone wants to buy it let me know.

In regards to goodwill returns, this occurs in the majority of business overall, much the same as when you purchase a car, if you don't like the way it drives, you can't take it back to the dealership and demand your money back. Unsure the competition mentioned is a better option, rather than trying a number of high-quality options with a trained professional to ensure you get to correct mattress in a bricks & mortar retail store, when purchasing with the aforementioned competition, customers fire blindly with no option to try the mattress before it arrives at their door, and in the case of the returns process, they offer lesser tolerance worse and no option to physically send out a sales representative in the case of product fault, this being due to their solely online operation. Mattress ok for 3 months during our northern winter, then when weather was hot, found us waking with really bad backs. Unheard of from either of us. Tempur refused to acknowledge that we had a problem. Manager from Harvey Norman replaced our Mattress, no we didn’t choose another Tempur, would not waste good money, very very disappointed with Tempur response, seems we are not the only ones, please read reviews before spending your money

Super comfortable it is literally like sleeping on a cloud, well worth the money we love it! Tempur came recommended by our Snooze consultant and we couldn't be happier. Memory foam is so supportive and "springs back" every time.

This mattress is causing the most excruciating back pain I have ever had. I would compare it to kidney stone pain..... I have never suffered with much back pain until I bought this mattress. Now during the night my back is killing me. In fact I have hardly slept since getting this mattress. I have gone back to sleeping on my 12 year old mattress and I get no pain at all during the night. I was told I would get used to the sinking feeling over time, however, I was not told how long I had to go without sleep until this happened!! Still, the worst part was the overheating which is, apparently, a common criticism.
It is also kind of hard to get out of as you have been consumed!

The Tempur Stockholm Cloud Soft has been beyond a serious let down compared to Tempur themselves who “genuinely believe they are the best in the world”. I brought this piece of so called “NASA invented technology mattress” on the 20/05/2017 from Domanye. (If I won a free trip to the moon and back I will defiantly be giving that a miss with the rocket lined with Tempur products). Read more with the amount of sweat pouring off your body. If that doesn’t happen then there is a good chance that you will wake up with serious aches and pains. These aches and pains are notorious if I am not experiencing these briefly before going to sleep the next morning I will feel like have been punched by a championship boxer. Two days ago, I woke up after sleeping on the Tempur mattress and became alarmed when my lower back was severely sore. It was that intense of pain that I thought my right kidney was failing, that’s how bad the pain was. It slowly disappeared after laying flat on my stomach and got up do my usual things in the morning. If I can’t sleep on the mattress at night I have to commonly remove myself to the couch which is extremely comfy and snuggle compared to this thing called a mattress. I have tried a lot of approaches to try and comfort the mattress from using a mattress topper, removing the guardsman mattress protector, rotating the mattress, laying on top of a donna and lastly a double folded donna. NONE have worked. I cannot believe how I have wasted my hard-earned money to be let down so miserably. I am lost for words for the mattress and how much money has been wasted. Please if you read this and thinking of buying one DON’T cause at first it was ok now it beyond disbelief how bad this mattress is.I wish I have done my research before I purchased Cloud 21. It is quite telling that is is now discontinued.

Have been waking up with acute lower back pain since sleeping on this mattress. Mattress has become very soft and unsupportive and it’s been difficult to get a good nights sleep. I’m spending $ on continued chiro and physio treatments. I am trying a mattress topper to see if that helps. I’m not surprised mattress has been discontinued. I’m bitterly disappointed with this expensive purchase.

My husband and I did a lot of research before buying our tempur mattress. At first it was firm, but after time we were waking up with extremely sore bodies!! I thought we had wasted our money and contacted the sales rep to complain. She put me in contact with the Tempur team who explained about the 'cells ' amd that we needed to persist with the mattress. Boy was she right after about 4 months we didn't have any problems, and sleeping is extremely comfortable! Never wake up achey painy. I am so happy with this mattress and encourage everyone to persist.

Best Mattress I have ever purchased. I have had the mattress now for three years and I now hate going away because I have to sleep on a different mattress. I have 2 bulging disks in my back and had gone through 4 new mattresses in 5 years with all of them after lying down for 5hours sleeping I had to get up as my back would start playing up. Now if my wife does not wake me up I can sleep for 10hrs +
I am buying another one for our spare room so when I am in the dog house an furst to sleep in there I with doing in comfort.
For me it was just perfect from the first night slepp but my wife it took her a few weeks or so to get use to it she now just loves it.

My husband and I rarely suffered back pain before buying a tempur mattress. When we first received our mattress we were thrilled about how comfortable it actually was. When we slept away from home we longed to go home and sleep in our own bed. However over time, we have found that the mattress is actually causing us to wake up with excruciating back pain. It isn’t supportive at all. It is also a very hot mattress which doesn’t allow your body to breathe. I would never purchase a tempur Mattress again, so sad we wasted over $4000.

The first few nights of sleeping on my side I awoke with pain in my back but as the mattress cells opened up after a few weeks I had no problems and was pain-free in bed and on waking. Initially I found it difficult moving and turning on the mattress and felt cast but that was just because it was unlike anything I'd ever slept on before and now I can turn and get up out of bed easily. When sleeping on my side I actually don't move as there is no pressure at all. I was concerned about not being able to use an electric blanket but use good quality cotton flanalette sheets which make the bed nice and warm and if I'm really cold I use an electric fur throw with a timer over me which is wonderful. I've found that I can get out of a warm bed and pull the covers up and return to the bed 3 hours later and under the blankets the mattress is still warm...unbelievable!! In summer I use good quality high thread count 100% cotton sheets (always a fitted bottom sheet). I also purchased Tempur pillows that are shaped on one side for sleeping on your back and the other side supports the neck for side sleeping. I also have a long Tempur body pillow to hug into and put my leg up on for side sleeping...so comfortable!! I have a queen size bed, adjustable base together with Tempur pillows. All up I spent just under NZ$10,000; yes you will spend a lot for some decent sleep and I have not EVERregretted my purchase; absolutely the most fabulous mattress!!!!! I worry about staying away from home as I know I'll have problems again without my Tempur.It's fantastic to hear you're enjoying your TEMPUR mattress & adjustable base combo.

This mattress was only fit for purpose for 6 months but was supposed to last for many years. It is only now that I have the time to pursue Tempur and I will.
