This mattress sucks
Not worth the money, tempur used to have the best mattresses now they are crap. I’m in so much pain, the firm mattress has no support. No help from Tempur or Snooze to fix the issues.
Purchased in July 2021 at Snooze for A$7,000.00.

Cannot find a fitted sheet to fit
We cannot find a fitted sheet anywhere to fit our very expensive mattress. We love the feel of it but normal KS sheets swim on it at only 25cms deep.

3 months in and will need to get rid of this mattress
On 28/07/ 2022 I purchased the above mattress from Harvey Norman. I did send an earlier review and said that I realised my mistake in not buying and inner spring mattress after a few weeks of sleeping on this foam mattress as I found the mattress hot and hated the fact that you sink into the foam and find it difficult to change position in the bed. hould keep trying to get myself used to sleeping on this type of mattress as it does take time to adjust from inner spring to Tempur. Well, I have tried and now find that I wake up numerous times during the night and have in fact developed lower back pain and shoulder pain. I have decided that my health is worth more than this overpriced mattress and will be shopping (not at Harvey Norman) for a high quality, well researched inner spring mattress. Trouble is I don't want to put this mattress in the guest bedroom as I would feel so guilty asking them to sleep on a bed that I believe may cause aches and pains. I moved to the guest bedroom (a spring matress).. and I finally worked out why ive had a bad sleep for the last 9 months - and why have i been boiling hot and uncomfortably cold at the same time during winter! Regarding the main premise your comments, TEMPUR itself doesn't retain any heat, the material itself simply doesn't have the properties to allow it to act as an insulator. There's a number of different reason as to why you may be experiencing an uncomfortable night, all of which depend on your specific situation. hase. Does it cross your mind that many of the complaints about Tempor is that they are hot? If the Tempur foam matress feels hot to sleepers, then it's hot. At least you conceded that they have no support. Ive been duped. I can acknowledge my mistake. I understand, its a business, so you wont change your brochures, as you can get away with it. back killer overpriced rubbish
The Company that created the tempur mattress need to be held accountable selling a overpriced uncomfortable overheating mattress and i'm guessing has never slept on one, otherwise would not have put this product on the market and no refund or replacement which shows once they get your money .they don't want anything more to do with you . UPDATE please do not buy a tempur it is the mattress from HELL .now under medical treatment for my back which was fine until I brought this mattress. the store I purchased from will not help and neither will tempur

Reviews don’t lie- worst bad pain, got worse over time
We thought this was the best mattress ever when we bought it 6 or so years ago. Over time it has continued to soften and provide less and less support. The past six months my husband and I have been waking with terrible lower back pain and only in the last couple of months put it down to our Tempur mattress. Reading the reviews here confirm how bad these mattresses get over time. All the customers with good reviews only bought theirs in late 2017 or 2018. Good luck in a year or two!!

The bed and customer service are beyond pathetic. the product is overpriced and offers insufficient support
I believe it offers no support and also worsened my lower back issues trying to come up with a solution with the company and they did not care at all

Terrible mattress, terrible warranty, terrible response from Tempur
This mattress was comfortable for about six months. It supported my back and my hips were happy when I slept on my side. Now, I lie on it and sink right in with no support. Harvey Norman/Domayne Auburn told me "It's guaranteed for ten years" which is an outright lie. And the warranty is a joke. Read the fine print.

BEST. INVESTMENT. EVER!
Since purchasing my Tempur Cloud 6 months ago, I can honestly say I have never had a better nights sleep. I feel absolutely no pressure on my body (I am a side sleeper) & I wake up feeling so refreshed. Even purchasing a soft mattress, I can feel my back is well supported. Also, my partner is a hot sleeper, knowing this mattress has a cool touch cover has helped them tremendously. It literally pushes the hot air away from our bodies.

Comfort only lasted for about 6 months.
When I first bought the Cloud 21 mattress, about 3 1/2 years ago, it was wonderful. I am a side sleeper and it was like sleeping on a soft cloud while keeping my spine in perfect alignment. I was thrilled for about 6 months.
Unfortunately, since then it has deteriorated to the extent that it no longer supports my spine. The mattress still looks great but when I lie on it the whole mattress collaspses around me into a large dip with a mound in the middle and no real support. 12mths on and upper back issues!
Bought due to LOWER back issues, I've had spinal surgery on my LOWER back. Almost 13mths on and I now have UPPER back and spine issues since getting this bed.

Nothing positive regarding this mattress
We were given the run around from the get-go from the agent (name withheld) with the firm mattress ordered but it was like a slab of timber. Then we had a long drawn out wait for the replacement softer mattress and we've had to make do as its the softest option but didnt feel much different from the firm option. I have had night after night of broken sleep and recurring mornings of extreme back pain. Whenever I tried memory foam mattress in store, I always found them way to hard. Until I came across Tempur Cloud range. come. My last spring mattress dipped in the middle within weeks. With the cloud it’s so soft yet I feel totally supported at the same time. I waiting for the cooling mattress protector to arrive as it’s on back order. Great at first but that didn’t last
Our tempur mattress was great when we first got it 4 years ago however at the almost 3 year mark the mattress started to collapse on my husband’s side (average size male). When I called customer service (any issues with tempur needs to be dealt with through them not at place of purchase) they said it had to have a certain depth measurement for it to be considered for replacement. It is a ridiculous measurement and in saying that ours was only half a cm off. Not very happy with this product or customer service. If I had to recommend one it would be HB Beard. Our daughter has one and it’s so comfortable!

It sounds as if you have spoken to our customer service team, if you haven't, please give them a call on 1300 306 062 as they are the best people to talk to in order to have any issues resolved. In regards to your queries, much like all mattress brands there needs to be a defined measurement within the warranty for your product, for TEMPUR this is 2cm, which is a leader in the industry, with the warranty providing a full replacement if your mattress has an indentation of 2cm or more. This is a standard practice across all brands, with many brands having 5-7cm indentations needed before a warranty claim is available, this being alongside a slew of other terms and conditions to be adhered to. Great Product Support
I had my Tempur Cloud 22 for 5 years when sagging occurred (not common fault and loved the mattress). The Tempur Australia team were very helpful. One year ago i provided photos and other requirements. The Cloud 22 was promptly replaced. I am once again in awe of the mattress, no pins and needles in hands and feet (as experienced previous mattresses owned), I don't find it hot. Love how light it is for making the bed. Thank you Tempur Australia, I can't see myself on any other brand of mattress. A special mention for Dimity from Tempur. Outstanding.

Warranty not honoured
The firmness collapsed after 1 Yr and tried to get a claim and was told that this was normal. So when you choose medium firmness after 1 Yr old you get really soft and no support that's right I was told. Never again.

I bought this mattress from Harvey Norman, specifically ask for a hard/firm one and got recommend a Tempur. It was firm at first, then... it just gets softer and softer. get to the point that I can't stand the back pain anymore. Have finally bought an all latex one and my back pain is gone. Do not buy it, for the price tag it just does not worth it.

Don’t believe the hype
After 8.5 years with a King Koil we needed to replace our mattress. We believed the hype of the wine glass on one corner and someone jumping on the opposite without the wine glass tipping, and thought this was for us.
We got it in the Boxing Day sale from Harvey Norman, and it got delivered TWO MONTHS later! That was the start. Then we complained. Then, after 6months and 5 times of asking them (Harvey Norman customer service) to call the correct mobile number, we were told we come exchange.
The Tempur mattress performed as well as our 8.5year old King Koil in terms of partner disturbance (shockingly bad), was hot as hell (the irony of it supposedly being a ‘cool touch’) and resulting in one of us needing sleeping pills!

worst costumer service
Purchase a mattress and after two weeks of using it I was experiencing back aches and waking up so stiff. I put a claim through and had a rep named [Name Removed] come out and rotated the mattress( tempur claim that you never need to rotate there mattresses) after rotation my husband is experiencing the back aches. According to tempur the pain experiencing is my body adjusting and aligning to the mattress. I believe I purchased a faulty mattress that is firmer on one side and not the other. According to the rep it’s because of my bed frame with is a total bull. My cheaper mattress of 10 years did a better job.

You're exactly right, you shouldn't need to rotate your mattress, this is one of the many benefits of purchasing with TEMPUR, the only reason you would've had to rotate is if it was installed upside down (and I'm sure that wasn't the case). I'll look to contact Ben and discuss why this was the case. In the meantime, I'd recommend kneeling over the mattress, this opens up the cells and helps to soften up the mattress, making it more like the product you tried in store. TEMPUR does take some time to 'bed-in,' this process, usually, takes around 4-8 weeks to feel the same as the item you tried in store. This is like any manufactured product, it won't feel the same on day 1 as it does on day 1000, adapting to you and the way you use it throughout the journey you take it on. In regard to your product being faulty, we have an extensive 10-year guarantee which covers a number of faults, of which we have less than a .5% return rate overall. Ben is a fantastic TEMPUR representative and if there was a claim available, I guarantee he would've taken the opportunity to ensure you had the best product possible and replaced it for you. If you still feel your product is faulty, please re-contact customer service and discuss issues with them, they are the best people to deal with your claim & always endeavour to get the best available outcome for our customers. I have just purchased one yesterday Cloud Elite Touch from Snooze and after reading so many negatives I am seriously worried that I have wasted my $4000 which is a lot. The delivery date is nearly 2 weeks away and now thinking of cancelling the order and just buy a plush conventional mattress. There has not been one comment that has praised the mattress.

Cancel!! Get your money back! Get a sleeping duck mattress which has full money back guarantee and 100 nights to trial your mattress. Tempur is a waste of money.
Thanks Kelly, unfortunately it arrives on Wednesday, I am concerned but I have spoken to their hierarchy in Melbourne and hopefully I am going to be happy with the product it is very costly if it doesn't suit. I have pain in pressure points and a side sleeper and needed to change and whilst the shop encourages you to try for 5 minutes it will never be enough.

I was in HEAVEN!!! My back aches most of the time, but worse after trying 2 new mattresses that are two firm.. So this seemed like a wonderful solution- I want the whole shebang! Adjustable base and all.
BUT reading these reviews, I'm terrified since it is a MASSIVE investment.!
My last two mattresses had a trial period... so no risk taken and even if there was $1000 is not alot to lose.
I don't know who to trust! Being a single mumma of mature age with a toddler and 7 year old, having been in a serious MVA injuring my back and suffering fibromyalgia, I really really need a good mattress- SLeep and support are essential!!!!!
With that many negative reviews,.. well it's very very very hard to trust the promise made by Tempur.
I wish you could convince me otherwise as I'ce never felt such an amazing comfort as the 10 minutes in store! - but that is not going to tell me what my back wll be like the next day!

Hi, I hear you. I was in the same predicament. I have neck pain all the time (radiculopathy). I persuaded my self to buy the whole setup. After $7,000 I realised I am genuinely not very satisfied with my purchase. I mean yes it feels luxurious and comfortable but support wise it’s just not there unless you are using the lift options on the bed via the remote to help you get out. I purchased mine from Domayne at Melbourne Central. I am not a heavy person and fall within the healthy range of my BMI.
After two years I noticed the mattress has a dip. I called the customer service and was advised it has to be a 2 cm for them to replace it as per their t&c’s.
The massage option is not a real massage option but rather a vibrating effect . Honestly all in all I would not purchase another Tempur mattress again. I would rather get a premium quality mattress with a nice pillow top. I say this because my brother and I got our mattress at the same time and mind you he is beyond the healthy BMI range and his mattress is still in shape and yet soft.
A cheat way I found that works is using a super plush pillow topper on a good quality mattress and boom you have a super premium mattress.
I also got the cloud deluxe version.
We bought a Tempur Nova Elite Cloud Soft King mattress from Harvey Norman because we had tried a memory foam topper on our old mattress & loved the feel but didn't like the fact it kept moving. I have two prolapsed discs in my neck & issues with my shoulders but a side sleeper & find the new mattress brilliant with my memory foam shaped pillow as well. I just wished we'd bought a deeper one (ours is only 25cms) as it is difficult to buy sheets for it.

You should be able to use an underlay with no issues regarding adjustment, however, this may compromise the feeling or support of the mattress itself as the underlay will get in between you and the mattress.
