2020 year of doom for most of us as we some lost jobs. Boarders closed and Covid affected the majority of us. Refunds were offered back to us as we couldn’t travel on our insurance dates due to boarders been closed. When they get you to fill out the refund form and you need to change bank details for reasons like You’ve closed that account and no longer banking with them or a sibling who paid for the insurance under her card migrated overseas and now all accounts are closed. Read more anything about getting the money they have put into someone else’s account as it “has not bounced and returned back to Travel Insuranz account” The night I filled out the refund form was the same day I emailed their CS team to advise of change of bank details. 3 days later I received an email saying the account nominated that we paid our insurance policy with, was the same one they paid the account in, which someone else has JUST landed free money SMDH. I gave them enough notice, got a reply 3 days later. It still an ongoing issues. I will NEVER and I hope no one else uses these guys for insurance. They deserve to go bankrupt.

Sadly I've had to cancel my trip to US in June (almost 3 months away) due the corona virus. Accomodation and flights all get refunded, but not my insurance from Travel Insuranz. After the 14 days cooling off period it's tough luck mate!

Read more your board your plane, but that's not true. That's because the minute you purchase your travel insurance the underwriter is on risk. As an example, if you were to become unwell and could not travel prior to departure, you could submit a claim (subject to the policy terms and conditions) for your irrecoverable travel costs. Point in case, many travel insurers are now receiving claims for irrecoverable travel costs as travellers can no longer go overseas as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak. We realise that you were disappointed with the outcome of your refund request but we hope that the above explanation goes some way in supporting our decision. very easy to set up. first time user for a trip in 2020. price is very competiv with exellent cover. Looking foward to travelling and hoping NOT to use our insurance but knowing we have good cover is great peace of mind.

Easy policy to understand and simple process to purchase. This is my second trip with this company and I won't use anyone else. Customer service is excellent when making a claim. Fast claims resolution.

Needed to cover a holiday to Korea and bought the middle package which seemed like a good price for good cover. They emailed the docs straight away and all looks good. Better to have good cover I think.

My son was overseas travelling through a variety of Asian countries on a holiday of a lifetime. He contacted us to advise of his return to Australia and I noticed that his travel insurance expired 4-days prior to his return. I contacted Travel Insuranz to extend his policy and received a response that I quite frankly did not expect to receive from an insurance company, "Thank you for your email and we’ve extended the policy to 13th March. On this occasion, no additional premium was due. We hope Daniel enjoys the rest of his trip!"
