We bought a membership years ago which gives us 20,000 points a year. We have used it to book weeks in:
1) Manhattan Club, NYC
2) Sheraton Vistana resorts villa in Orlando, visitng Disneyworld
3) apartment in Tasmania
Our circumstances have changed and I am on my own now. I would like to sell my membership - please respond if anyone is interested in taking up this membership or if you know where is a better site for me to attempt to sell my membership.

We are looking at selling our membership. we currently have 22,000 points and signed up for the 30,000 each year. We paid over $17,000 4 years ago and we just dont get to use it. It has RCI included. We are happy if someone just wanted to pay for any of the transfer of ownership fees and other costs associated with the transfer if there is any. We are happy to cut our loses as we just want it gone.

Have you used it ... and can you sell to someone?? ... I’m interested
Hello
Thanks for enquiring
Yes we’ve have had it for 15 months
We booked a trip to Bali
We stayed in a villa in Seminyak
We booked 2 villas able to accommodate up to 6 guests in each villa
It cost $950 for 7 nights per villa
Selling as you need to be able to book well in advance but our circumstances have changed and unable to lock in a suitable time to travel due to uncertainty in work allocated holidays
What price are you looking for ...
And do you also have access to the RCI group and the bonus weeks ....

We were accosted today by someone called Sumit Satish Rastogi who bombarded us with information about these so called 'Free Holidays' and fleeced us for $40.00 to 'Secure our places'. Having read all the negative reviews above, could anyone let us know if they refund the $40.00 at the beginning of the talk or after? If it's after, I will demand a refund immediately. Thanks for you help.
4 answers
I am not sure about how the refund works if you leave at the beginning because we stupidly stayed for over 4 hours which wasted precious time in the final days of our holiday,
Thanks for replying. We’ll get the refund at the beginning and the POQ! All the best.
Just got sucked in and paid to secure our place, did you end up getting refund at beginning? How was the hard sell? Also did you get the prize?
Tia P.asked
Today we signed up for the 10 year membership but after reading these reviews I'm really scared we've been conned. Fortunately it seems we are still in the cooling off period so think I will go down that road to cancel. Is there anybody out there that can give any positive feedback or review of this company ? or is it as everybody seems to be saying, another hard sell "Con Job" please reply as we only have a few days to consider whether to stay signed up with them or cancel, thank you.

Get out as soon as you can! You will not save any money because it is fictional money you are saving!
I would advise getting out as soon as possible.
We read everything on here after saying No
Get out as soon as possible. This company is a scam. No one can ever get the dates they want for accomodation .. waste of money and a big con!
Good luck getting out ...I hope they respond to you ..
They are good at ignoring you when you don’t do what they want
Thanks Billy J and Kateben for your replies, Yes, my hubby and I are going to cancel based on this information and
feel like we've just escaped from an impending nightmare, thank God for the internet, Product Reviews and honest people like you who take the time to warn others of these scams who come across as really good. Feel a bit of an idiot as I should have known better. As the old saying goes " If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is " What chance do you think we will have of getting our $300.00 deposit refunded ?

Hi Brett, are you able to share any info on what helped you get out? I'm sure it would benefit many of us,

Hi Linda
We have a 40yr membership for us it doesn’t work the little things that they do not inform you about are the points that frustrate us. The membership may work better if you can book up to 12 months in advance and can afford to pay in full in our case it’s just not an option as we cannot get leave confirmed that far in advance. You can get bonus weeks cheaper. We paid around $15k and pay $199 a year and book more accommodation through other avenues due to short notice they usually have nothing available.
Overseas would work, cruises maybe again you need to book well in advance. We’d be happy to offload our membership it just doesn’t work for us. Good Luck!
Hi Linda. You can have my utiqua if you want at no cost. We don’t use it. Let me know. It’s good for ten years.
Nikki have you ever used it and been happy with it. My hubby n I signed up but after googling we got cold feet... sounds like a great holiday plan though . Would appreciate any input.
Are you in Australia ? Cheers

Does the $40 “attendance” fee get refunded at beginning or end of presentation or not at all and is it refunded in cash? I know now I have been conned as there is no free holiday and is a scam to get you to their offices. Such a shame if we wasted $40 as this was my money for family gifts.
1 answer
I got my $40 refunded... And the 'free' $99 accommodation but with the caveat of having to attend another 'presentation'.. I tell them at the start that I woun't be buying and watch them squirm at the end with senior staff trying to give out manager's special discounts etc... No thanks. It is a scam as you said to get you through the door. Just don't feel obligated and just use them and walk away when done.. I won't doing this again though. too much hassel

You’ll need to utilise the services of the Credit Ombudsman’s Office.
It’s hard work.
They’re totally dodgy and deceptive
Good luck.

ASIC publish this online. ASIC don’t surveil companies unless there ar3 serious issues.

Is the only way to claim this free holiday on the scratchie is by signing up?
4 answers
Not sure about the scratchie, as I am already a member of ULTIQA. I suspect in return for the free holiday you would have to attend a hard sell seminar on joining Ultiqa. Up to you whether you see any benefit from that
scratched the scratch, attended the presentation, no free accomodation to any holiday as of yet.
My wife scrtached and won. had to pay the refundable $40, which we got back at the presentation. Got the free accommodation including an extra night but still waiting for the call to go to the presentation. If we refuse the second sales pitch we will have to pay $900.. So, the caveat is going to a second sales presentation. The trick is to tell them at the start that you are not interested and will not buy. When they put the hard word on in the end just say no and stick to your guns. This is a scam and as the choice review says, "a life sentence"... Use them and put up with their hard sell but don't buy........... The "free" holiday is not free, it cost us $99. Still worth it though but we won't be doing this again. Have done this quite a few times and it's getting tedious. Enjoy, but DON'T BUY ....

Hi Brett, how did you get out of your membership? We have paid about 20k, have used a number of times and accommodation always been great, but not flexible enough for our needs. Happy to give away to anyone who wants it

Please would love to hear some stories from new members i.e year or two as we me and my wife are in our cooling period?
4 answers
NO sorry you have been conned, just like we did. You only have a 7 day cooling off period. Unfortunately, they do not allow you to sign in for over two weeks. You can complain, but then you will just have to settle with what they give you, then they write down that the client is now happy, even though you are not.
Jam master jay .... did you become a member of Ultiqa and have you booked any holidays? Would love the feedback please!
I too am interested but can't see where your response is

Just wondering if anyone has ever taken the "free holiday" they won on the Altiqa scratch card without signing up to the whole offer? My husband and I won miraculously scratched the major prize, attended the 90minute "chat" and then found out we won the free holiday. I am very very skeptical!
6 answers
We are currently on our free holiday we came yesterday and we only had to pay $99 booking fee. The other condition is that you go for another 90min presentation and we did ours straight away. We got a nice 1 bedroom self contained apartment with a washing machine and dryer.
Where did you go to?
We have been with them 17 months. Friends booked melbourne pre xmas this year 1 week for $500 same place $2000 other companies and we booked next October 2018. We also have 241 rewards membership and going on river cruise oct for around 5 thousand per couple less this way so far happy

Is anyone actually happy with their membership? Have you stayed in any capital cities?
5 answers
It's pretty new for our family, but yes we've stayed in capital cities like Las Vegas and New York. There's a lot of choices in Las Vegas. Obviously if you want to go to New York you need to book in advance as you would do normally. You have priority booking over non members but still have to plan ahead for popular destinations.
No totally disgusted we got conned big time. All it is, is one huge donation with added fees, cheaper to book through other people like bookings.com and no I dont work for bookings, just a unhappy customer.
Hi Lorna.c,

Why would you want to cancle something that gives you such cheap holidays?? I've been a member for three years and its changed my life!!
Ive had weeks in resorts for $150 to $300 just on bonus weeks!! Yall are silly for cancelling just on other peoples negativity!!!
You cant cancel it now its only a 7 day cooling off period. Dont listen to these people when they say its fantastic they more than likely work for them. Its a total con. We couldnt sign in for weeks to find that out. We book holidays through bookings.com now its cheaper. Put in a compliant to ASIC
