Very satisfied
Have been a customer from pre-Yomojo days (think Savvytel) and have been very happy. When Optus dropped the 2G network it forced us to upgrade our phone. We found a 3G only phone didn't work well (fewer towers) so had to go to 4G. That's all fixed now, coverage is good and we find the plan we're on affordable and suited to our needs.

Great value for money on the Optus network
Other than the obvious lack of full rural coverage, most areas of the Metro are covered. They have moved forward with the unlimited calls and text as per other providers.

Good value for my phone needs
I moved to Yomojo some time ago and had never any problems. The charges are reasonable and I like the 3 months credit period. I don't use the phone much but it has a good credit built up when I go on holiday. I would recommend Yomojo to anyone who has similar needs for a low cost Telco.

Excellent option for light user
Yomojo are a very economical option for light users like me (I only call and text and use no data). I use auto-top-up and a $10 top-up can last up to 3 months, which is cheaper than any other plan I've seen. They use the Optus network so coverage is identical to Optus and all other resellers of Optus bandwidth (there are quite a few). I've been with them for 3 years since they took over Yatango (who took over Savvytel) and have had near perfect service. A couple of times the auto-top-up fail to work in a timely way and I couldn't call out for an hour or so, but (using a landline) the call centre staff were helpful and fixed it immediately.

Excellent value for money
I just use a cheap plan for phone calls and txt. I don't use much data but can check emails in an emergency. $10 plan that carried over from Yatango lasts me 6 weeks to three months depending on number of calls and txt. Excellent value for money. I never want to switch!

Budget friendly provider
Have enjoyed Yomojo prepaid for several years which has given me very affordable simple connectivity. I notice this plan is no longer available (probably as it is ridiculously cheap from a providers point of view), but there still seem to be some very affordable alternatives available.

Great service provider
Always had great service and the prepaid plan is ideal for my limited usage but can easily be changed should the need arise. The top up service is great as if you forget to look at your balance once it reaches a certain level they automatically top it up. I've not had any problem with reception in my area or any drop-outs so it you want a cheap and efficient provider then I would thoroughly recommend them.

Great plans for the older Australian
The low cost and three month plan is ideal for what I require. My use of mobile service at this time is relatively limited, however this could change in the near future should I decide to dispense with my home phone.

Could be more Customer Friendly !
I feel Yomojo is one of the"average" providers which could be more "customer directed" with a few changes. There should be no fee when recharging on line and the credit expiry could be extended to six months or not expiring at all say for seniors / low usage customers.
The original Savvytel provider offered these. Yomojo..... it is easier and better business to retain existing customers than face the costs of attracting new ones !!

Great service
I also " inherited" yomojo from Savvytel, via Yatango. I have looked at others but Yomojo offers the best deal to suit me, and have never experienced dropouts or any other problems. In my experience, they are great to be with.

Unfair Credit Card fees
I feel the credit card fee is unreasonable, there are now other competitors offering the same service with out the fee, why would we stay with a provider that looks only after them selves also you can't speak to anyone with your grievances unless you go online, not good enough

Happy With Yomojo
Happy with the smooth transition from another provider. The top up process is easy and the dashboard is easy to use. I would prefer a warning a bit sooner than when it's down to $2...maybe $5. Can't fault the service. Thank you.

Questions & Answers
AspAntasked
I have an Optus tower across the water from my home about 200 metres away. When I contacted Yomojo they confirmed that it would provide me with the best reception for wireless broadband ie 2300GHz. I asked what was the internet speed with such good reception and was told 12MBs. So I joined up. The best speed I have managed so far has been 5.45MBs......with it varying down to 2.2MBs. I have the router in the center of the home and it doesn't matter if I shift it next to the window facing the tower....the speeds are the same. Is Yomojo falsely promising 12 MBS? Is anyone else achieving better results. I have a neighbor 2 houses away who is receiving 12MBS on a Vodafone dongle and yet the Vodafone tower is further away and has more obstructions between them?????
5 answers
Yomojo are a bunch of clowns - personally I wouldn't believe a word they say. I think you might be entitled to a refund as it's less than 50% of the speed that you are paying for. Maybe try testing your neighbours dongle in your house and see what you get (might do it for a 6 pack of beer). If you get 12Mb/s then you go with Vodafone. If not - then there may be some interference from the other traffic from the tower (or simply your proximity to it) that is slowing it down in your house. Like when you get close to a radio tower and pick up 4 stations at once but you can't hear the one you are on - the signal to noise ratio gets screwed up.
Thanks Cam.... I have Amasim on my mobile phone and I did a speed test on the data....came up just over 45MBs. I don't know who they retail for but at least it showed me that the router from Yomojo is restricted. Yomojo retail for Optus....so it's either Optus or Yomojo applying the brakes and it's either at the tower or in the router. I'm going to see if I can find out who's ripping me off before I lose out on my new $175 router
Yomojo M.Yomojo
Hi Aspant, whilst the service uses the Optus 4G Plus network, the service is designed to be used in the home and the speed of data transmitted is different from the speed of data using other services supplied over the Optus 4G Plus network. In metropolitan areas n areas where 2300 MHz coverage is available, you should get download and upload speeds of up to 12/1 Mbps but lots of things can effect that. Your router may be faulty or there may even be a problem with the Optus tower. Send us a direct message or your contact details and we will be more than happy to help you troubleshoot this issue. Cheers.

Can I recharge my yomojo sim without having to go on the Internet to do so?
3 answers
I suggest you go with another company, Yomojo will take your money and run, with no reponsibility when something goes wrong!
I suggest you go with Amaysim. You can buy recharge cards at wollies. But if you really need a compnay with a store front then you have to go with either optus or telstra.
I was told no. If you run out of credit you cannot call anyone anyway. All calls to Yomojo cost and they seem to use up a lot of time and money for your own network. They don't explain what you need to do online so I got online and ended up spending more than the original plan I signed up on not to mention it was 6GB when signing up and dropped to 2GB without notifying me. When asking Yomojo about this they tell you it's on the website which I cannot see? So customers fault! So what you think you are signing up to becomes a different story you did not intend when going with Yomojo as they change things fairly often without letting you know and you're basically locked in unless you decide to change again. SCAMMERS. NOT WORTH SIGNING UP! I would advise people to shop around or make the change.
