Overseas Visitors Health Cover (OVHC)

Hi, I bought ovhc budget visitor(hospital only) plan and admitted to emergency, was told to pay $550 deposit for administration. I then received a tax invoice amounted to $1200, where $650 is the owing amount. How can I claim the $550 back? from hospital or your side? Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

Hi Nicole, in accordance with our policy rules and PDS - “If you hold Budget visitors policy and your attendance at an accident and emergency department does not lead to in-patient admission, no cover is provided under your policy for any costs charged for your accident and emergency attendance”. You are welcome to submit the claim for review and assessment, however you may not receive a reimbursement. Regards, Anthony.

Hi. Just a bought a OVHC insurance, can we do refund on it? Not needed anymore by the immigration since insurance are required only if they will stay for more than 3months. Change of plans the visitor will be here for a month.
