Don't order anything online your order won't turn up and customer service care don't care!! Rang them several times but all they could say it wasn't their fault it was the delivery company which is a load of rubbish...

Rude and unhelpful
Anaconda had a Black Friday sale on that started on the 27th of November and finished on the 2nd of December. I decided to buy the Waeco 50L fridge deal they had on sale for $599 plus the bag.
What got delivered to me was the 40L.
I tried calling and email head office for three days with no luck. Eventually I called my local store.
They said just being in the 40L and they will give me the right fridge I paid for.

Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced.
When my online order arrived it was missing a very large and expensive item- I only ordered 2 items. Upon notifying the customer care team I waited 5 days to finally receive verification there had been a miscount when shipping (that's right, someone can not count to 2) and they would re-send my order. I made contact several times via telephone and email and each time was advised of an update within 24-48hours- the updates never occurred within this time frame and often not at all. informed my item was in stock but they could not advise when shipping would occur, in spite of the fact it had been their error and it had well surpassed the advised delivery time frames. I had to request every tiny piece of information I received and none of my questions or concerns were responded to. The customer care team may as well be a recording 'you will receive and update in 24-48 hours'. Responses to emails were vague and unapologetic, often providing no further information. I suggested several solutions to my issue that would have satisfied me however was advised this was not the correct process and would not be considered. At no point was I offered a refund or even a genuine apology. After reading other reviews I hounded the call centre daily and they have since shipped and delivered my product. It was a time consuming and frustrating several weeks and I highly recommend going elsewhere. If for some outrageous reason after reading all these awful reviews you feel the need to subject yourself to this level of incompetence I highly recommend contacting the company frequently and cause as much inconvenience as possible to get your matter sorted out in a 'reasonable' time frame.Similar opinion? Every thing we needed at a great cost
We recently went on a last minute camping trip for the first time. We ran into the store to grab what we needed and where surprised by how great it was! The prices were very reasonable.

disgraceful instore service and follow up customer service
pretty straight forward
wanted to purchase a bike for my daughter using click and collect, well they dont have click and collect so purchased online did not have option to pick up instore so accepted the $40 delivery fee to move the product 6 klms bike was picked up same day as sale and is now sitting in some depot waiting to be delivered to me that was 5 days ago, store is not interested in helping me at all as it was an online purchase and even told me that i would have to contact the depot to find the bike even though i did not organise the courier
my advice and please take my advice do not purchase anything from this unremarkable business and use ebay

Horrendous Service at Penrith Store
I wish there was an option for zero stars. I just visited this store today the 6th of November to exchange a Shimano fishing shirt from size L to M. When I first entered the store there was but one lady at the front counter who was preparing sales advertisements, after a while she acknowledged my presence right from the start I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience.

call customer care which I did, I was told to wait 24 - 48 hours for receipts team to search for orders. I then provided a bank statement with the dates and amounts for the transaction clearly showing the item was purchased at this particular store. I was bounced around between 3 different team members, who, in-between taking personal phone calls and joking around with one another could not locate the order. At this stage I had waited patiently for over 45 minutes, growing increasingly frustrated I told them not to worry. Not once was I reassured or given any apologies for having to wait around for over an hour, on departure once expressing my frustration I was told "well you should have the receipt" and given cheeky smirks from the staff as I left. Apart from being highly unprofessional the staff were also poorly trained to handle what I would consider, based on my personal experiences with other retailers, a very simple task. I rarely get time to spare to take care of issues like this and in total I wasted 3 hours of my day commuting to and from and in store for what I believe should have been a straight forward 1 for 1 swap.Similar opinion? Slowest postage from local store ever
Slow communication of tracking information. I still have no idea when or if my order will be delivered. It is now 10 days since the date of purchase. When contacted, they literally made up that their terms and conditions state 10 days processing time and then another 5 days for delivery. The terms and conditions do not mention 10 processing time anywhere. I could have easily purchased the item in store but chose delivery for convenience. I will not shop with them again in any format.

It has been 20 days since I placed the order and I have called twice and they just say someone will contact you within 24-48 hours and they never do. Whatever shipping logistics they use are really inefficient and it seems things get lost. I tracked my order and the last place it was registered was at a shipping depot somewhere and then thats it. Really disappointed :( I am a single mum and was going to take my boy camping and just waiting for $300 worth of camping stuff that never arrived. probably take forever. Not good Anaconda! Update on my order. I called the shipping company directly which is Northline and found the packages, they were just sitting at the depot. If you are looking for your order don't call Anaconda, they won't help, call the company that is supposed to be delivering it. The guy I talked to at Northline was helpful and said he'd found a lot of packages and had no idea why the packages were sitting around and assured me It would be delivered tomorrow.Similar opinion? Terrible!
Ordered a jacket back in August and advised it would be here within 5-10 business days. My holiday was 15 days after I ordered, I was away for 3 weeks and the jacket arrived the day I got back from my holiday.
I straight away asked for a return slip which took a further 2 weeks. I returned the jacket straight away and was advised when it was delivered to Anaconda. Another week later i hadn't heard anything so I emailed and they lied saying it had only just arrived and to give them 24-48hrs to process the refund. It has now been another 2 weeks 3 emails and I still haven't heard anything or received my refund. 2 months to sort a single jacket. Will never purchase from Anaconda ever again!

Anaconda West Gosford Manager is useless
Had numerous phone calls with [Name Removed] at the West Gosford store, and get no where. Doesn't return calls nor sort any issues. Purchased product which was faulty and get no where with them! Staff and management are terrible. Will not purchase from any Anaconda store again!

Do not buy from this company
Ordered a kids bike, sent the wrong bike, then told the right bike has been sent out (and in stock)
now been told that the bike was out of stock and a refund was put in my account, but only put in the bike amount and not refunded the delivery fee. After complaining apparently there has been a glitch and now have been told that the delivery fee has been refunded today.
This whole issue has been going on for 3 weeks.
Total scammers!!!

Wasted my time, bad experience
I called to mackay store to enquire about a stock of specific Bike, luckily it was on stock and they were happy to reserve it for me.
Went there to pay for it and pickup, waited for 30+ minutes and finally one of the staff brought my bike, but it was wrong size and women's bike instead. They claim they don't have stock and blah blah.
I asked if I can take display unit, another 10 minutes gone, and this lady wanted to charge me $25 extra as a assemble fee.
wasted too much time. very bad experience.

Pathetic after sales service, 4 weeks later still not resolved
Purchased a waeco TC 21 12v/240v cooler. On arrival the cooler was supplied with two 240v plugs and no 12v plug, a simple packing error. I contact Anaconda by phone and informed them of the error to which they said they would log to look into it after I supplied my order number.

r the 48 business hour holding pattern before something was done. 5 days later I get an email stating my request was being reviewed. 3 more days now pass and I receive an email from Anaconda stating they have reviewed the picture I sent and believe that I was in fact sent a 12v and 240v power socket and hence what was supplied was correct. Attached is the picture I sent of my two 240v plugs, below is the response from Anaconda. " I can see in the picture that the customer has received the 240V plug.The picture of the other plug is harder to see the end but I think I can see the silver end sticking out through that folded cord. If the plug on that cord is the plug for the cigarette lighter connection in a car then he has everything that comes with the product." Anyway.... yet another phone call back to Anaconda (this is probably phone call number 5 now) and I voice my displeasure with the service I have received thus far and the fact that I was still missing the part I needed. This phone call went around in circles until my case was once again pushed back to anther department and I was asked to wait yet another 48 business hours for a response. After this last call I gave up on ever getting something remotely like customer service from Anaconda so I rang Waeco Aus direct. The chap I spoke was extremely helpful and within a day had posted me the missing plug. This revived my belief that there is still some customer service left in the world.Similar opinion? Terrible business names
Because staff are hopeless in Wagga Wagga. When We foot in and look all staff need polite training and need help training. We disappointed and look at the staff faces unfriendly to customers. My people say BCF is better and lovely staff. Sorry, my thing to say.

Terrible experience with online shopping
Ordered 3 items - snow boots, beanie and gloves. The 3 items are shipped separately and although the order states 2-5 day standard delivery time frame, this is not the case. The initial call I made to customer care to find out delivery times etc was not a good one - the assistant wasn’t helpful and could not enlighten me on when I would receive my items. You sound like working for them ! and fair enough. As I was a happy member of Anaconda (I really liked the shop), they have a complete history of all my receipts. I haven't found the need to share my docket publicly ( not many do ), but I still have the 2016 invoice. Anaconda first told me that they found both receipt (2015 and 2016), then told me to prove that I bought shoes from them in 2016 as suddenly didn't have my 2016 invoices to able them to process my claim (I have their email proving this). I found my 2016 receipt, and I did send it, now they asked me to bring both pair of shoes, requesting that they both have to be the same size (I also have their email proving this), while the invoices clearly show that I have a 9.5 and 9 sizes shoes.....I am just getting the run around...
