Bring back the old formula
My 6 month old has been on this formula from 3 weeks old after trying so many different ones this sorted all her reflux issues and no more vomit, yay, she is medicated for her reflux, but now you have changed it to this new formula I feel we are back at square one, I change her multiple times a day also her cot sheet twice a day as she is a tummy sleeper, this never happened with the old formula, she moans after her bottle and you know she's uncomfortable and is going to vomit, I only have 6 months before I can change to cows milk but for these...
Read more next 6 months I will be changing formula, so dissapointing. I also don't know any baby that is going to wait 7 minutes for a bottle, I know my baby won't drink a cold bottle and I won't risk a belly ache on top of all the other problems, after 7 minutes it doesn't even thicken to make any difference. It also leaves clumps, never had this problem with the old onePurchased in June 2020.

Worked well for the reflux
The formula worked really well for our baby’s reflux from the very first time we tried it. He didn’t have a single vomit since. However unfortunately it gave our bubs violent diarrhea, so we had to take him off this formula. Was a shame our baby reacted to it, otherwise it worked well for his reflux and regurgitation.

Bring back the old formula
Bring back the old AR, our baby has been on it since he was 6 weeks old and was doing great. Now he vomits it up more, I am constantly changing him, cleaning the floor or changing my own clothes and I’m not to sure how many babies are keen on waiting 7 min for a bottle. I can say at 3am it is not fun. Why change something that works well.

Bring back the old formula
Baby couldn't tolerate any formula, tried 7, found this one back in sept 2022 when she was a month old its been perfect until the change recently and she has been whingey since gave her it 3 days ago (i had bought a few tins of old formula as its so hard to find) and been more and more spewy, unhappy baby. She is 10 months old but Im going to have to stop giving her formula. Old formula was better.

Bring back the old formula!!!!
Started using aptamil A.R when my baby was just 5 weeks old as he suffers from reflux. AMAZING!! We noticed a difference after the first bottle. And now they have changed the way they make the formula, what a disaster, our poor little man was back to his old ways instantly. So miserable. To say I'm disappointed would be am understatement. We now have to go through however many formulas to find another.
We were happy with the product as it was, you shouldn't have to change it.
From ONE VERY UNHAPPY MUM.

BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!
It took me trying 12 different formulas to finally find the perfect one for my son and now I'm back to trying new formulas again. The old formula was PERFECT!!
We never had a problem with it. Ever since my son started drinking this new formula he's reflux has come back and he's also either constipated for a couple of days or just doing poo explosions for a couple of days. It also doesn't dissolve that well! I shake it for ages and there's still chunks when he's finished or it blocks the teat and he screams. I'm so disappointed in the new formula. Bring back the old one!

Bring back the old formula!!
We loved the old formula as it cleared up everything for our little man. Now with the new design it has caused the reflux to come back and constant poo explosions. Why change something that was working? Listen to the consumers as you have lost business with us and sent us back to the drawing board to find a new formula.

AR Gold was better than the new Reflux Gold!
Disappointed with the new version of this formula! Since using the new version our baby’s reflux is back with vengeance & we are overloaded with dirty nappies.
We were using the old formula for the last 6 weeks with our prem baby & it was great for her reflux! We initially spent time adjusting & found that with the occasional addition of Coloxyl we were able to control her reflux & had no issues with constipation (after the 2nd explosion we stopped the Coloxyl immediately).
We have spoken with their customer care line who suggested we add in...

It’s really heartbreaking seeing your baby in so much pain & discomfort & now we need to adjust again & pray that her body will take to the new ingredients. We were happy with the product as it was - you shouldn’t have changed it so much! From one very unhappy Mumma.Purchased in June 2020.

Bring back the old formula!
We used the old formula with our first child 5 years ago and it was the best formula. We are currently using this again with our second child. After trying 3 other different formulas we decided to use Aptamil gold AR as it was the only formula that agreed with our last child and it was the same with our current child. He was so settled no more vomiting or pains, it was working amazing until..... they decided to give the formula a revamp! It is now runny compared to how thick it used to be.
It now has been nothing but constant poo explosions, v...

Not as good as it used to be
We've been using the old formula for the last 5-6 months, and it was great. Balanced with a bit of Infant's Friend, we got the right balance between no reflux and no constipation. Yay- happiness. However, they've now changed the formula, and we're no longer a fan. Reflux is back. I suspect this is because you now have to wait 7 minutes before giving the bottle to the baby, which of course is exactly what you need...

Read morey and hungry, instead of getting bottle into bubs within a couple of minutes, it's now closer to 10 minutes, once it's been mixed up and left to stand and thicken. Which means we now have distressed baby and stressed parent - not ideal Aptamil peeps. In fact, totally the opposite. If you can put it back the way it was, please go ahead and do so. I'll give you 5 stars. But as it is - maybe a one. It's impractical and just not as good - like we said, reflux has returned.Purchased in May 2020 at Coles for $27.

That sounds like a big statement but it's just plain fact. We had no choice but to bottle feed this baby. Life saver well worth $$
This formula is a life saver . I was breastfeeding and my baby Had silent reflux would scream whenever put down to sleep and nigjt was hours of it. Tried this after being told my baby had GERD and I was too sick to breastfeed with mastitis. My baby slept like 10 hours straight after having a bottle of this. And ever since had slept through the night and never had the same crying reflux issues

Perfect, no more vomiting
My baby is enjoying this formula, no issues whatsoever. Yes, the formula is thicker than most but you expect that with an AR formula. I have cut a slit across the top of the teats to assist with feeding. Bowel movements are more frequent, much smellier and larger in volume, again, something you expect when using formula. The formula is easy to prepare, my baby has bottles at room temperature and i find it doesnt get as thick as when the water is heated. Very very effective product.

Good for reflux but really bad smelling poo
Stopped breastfeeding about 2 weeks ago and bought a tin of aptamil gold which worked great for my bub but he would spit up quite a bit after each feed so we got the AR version. Now the formula is very thick if not used right away. My son doesn’t seem to mind. The only real issue I have is he is pooping 6-8 times a day since I started this formula 3-4 days ago, and they stink!! Like, the whole house sticks, even when double bagging the nappy!
What’s up with that? Is anyone else experiencing the same? Maybe I need to get some probiotics? I woul...

Think twice, before you buy, this one needs special teat.
I do not want to give one star, but the product is not fit for purpose, it is extremely thick like porridge, which we tried three different bottle and the baby still can not drink.
It will be good in future it can label in large print it needs special bottle? it is very thick, buy with caution.
Please, Aptamil, see how many reviews like this - too thick.

Helped with acid reflux
My son is formula feed from the beginning. I used to use NAN comfort which was good but my son has reflux problem so doctor asked me to something which will help him for reflux. Pharmacist said it will help him and it did but the powder doesn’t dissolve in the water completely. I am bit worried as the milk is ok or it’s meant to be like this. The milk is quiet thick which is hard for baby to suck even if we are using fast flow for my 7 month old.

Had high hopes
So I brought this for my 6 week old who suffers silent reflux and colic after using the Aptimal for colic and constipation which worked well but he was still vomiting alot we thought we would try this one. Unfortunately I'm really disappointed as it's so incredibly thick my poor son has a hard time sucking it out even with fast flow teats, and is now back to waking every half an hour because he's still hungry because he literally can't get through a bottle.
I wish I had of just stuck to the colic and constipation as this formula is quite expensive.

Improved reflux for 5 week old.
We switched to Aptamil AR from another popular brand recently due to my 5 week old having r reflux issues. Since the change over his reflux symptoms have improved and he has starting sleeping for longer periods of time as the formula works to stay fuller for longer. Formula is easy to prepare but does go quite thick if left out and not given immediately after preparation.

So thick that baby could not drink through teat!! Terrible product!
Bought this formula as my baby has been very unsettled and gassy with other formulas of the same brand and prepared the formula to take out with us only to find that when it was time to feed my baby, she could not suck the formula through the teat as it was too thick! I opened the bottle to find it looked like thick custard. She could not drink that so we had to buy another formula for her to drink and that one has been fine for her.
Would not buy this product again! Getting the 4 I bought exchanged first thing tomorrow!!
