Very happy

So far all good
I am an new customer with Aussie BB having been with one of the major telcos for many years. Altho early days, so far the experience with Aussie has been very positive. I had a few early issues with accessing emails via Aussie BB on a tablet but the local (Australian based) helpdesk people were able to help me sort that out very quickly.

pleasant surprise
It is not often that a service is as good as the TV commercials claim but Aussie Broadband has been up to now perfect .Installed when they said it would be no fuss at all.I was told my nbn connection would be about 23mbs at peak hours that is correct have had no problems at all. I like the way they keep in touch with me if there is maintenance on my service .It was a big step for me to change from ii net to Aussie Broadband but i am very glad i did. Keep up the good work

Excellent company for service and reliability.
Our nbn service is extremely reliable. Connection was a very simple process all organised ABB. We’ve not had any issues with dropouts as yet and our speed has been consistent and satisfactory. Their app is clear and very easy to use and customer service is all Australian.... Yay!!! They couldn’t be more helpful. We’ve not had any problems so our calls were just queries about set up hiccups. We’ve only been with them a bit over a month but can’t recommend them highly enough.

realy happy
realy happy with service good support team had trouble setting my router up they spent a lot of time trying to get it to work but seamed to be foulty so took back to shop got money back got diffrent router set up worked easerly up and running no probs had no probs getting good speed con sidering every body home no lock in contracts which is great

Flawless performance at a reasonable price point.
My experience with Aussie BB has been fantastic. Sign up was easy to complete online and they had the NBN connected with a matter of hours - I was shocked at how quickly the order had been processed. Knowing that it was free to move to another plan I chose to start with the slowest speed. I've not had any issues with network congestion.

Faultless performance.
Easy and efficient installation- hardest part was cancelling my Optus ADSL.
Aussie Broadband support staff are polite, efficient, helpful and most importantly easy to contact - Australian-based and well staffed.
I have not had one dropout or slow down in the NBN service - very impressed and strongly recommended

Excellent
I reluctantly changed providers to ABB from iiNet after I've been with them for 12 years, but recently their customer service dropped the ball.
So far they are great, I like the ease of reporting faults through the app and the speed of getting back to me.
I hope they keep up the service, otherwise I'll move on again. It is not worth staying loyal to anyone these days.

Unbeatable customer service, reliable internet
Have been with Aussie Broadband for two months so far and couldn’t be happier. Internet is very reliable and fast. No issues at all so far. Had some trouble getting connected using my old modem from a different provider, but called customer service and they look the time to talk me through it even though my old provider would have put it in the too hard basket straight away. Strongly recommend trying this company.

My go-to ISP
Great and reliable service. Internet doesn’t slow down during peak times.
Customer service is effective, friendly and Australian.
Aussie BB are my go to ISP.
They may be a bit more expensive that other providers, but I think it’s justified by their reliability and great customer service.

Couple of drop outs but oh the customer service is first rate!!!
Experienced 2 drop outs so far both NBN issues as far as I can tell. Customer service is excellent. Fast, efficient, respectful. The very best part of this company. I love how if the wait time is too long you get to hang up and be called back. No more anger inducing on hold music or annoying ads.

Simple changeover
After years of frustrations and problems with Telstra my recent change to Aussie Broadband went so smoothly and the help I received over the phone about available plans and also when needing to change over my modem was excellent. As a senior with limited knowledge of these things the service I've received from these guys has been great. Speed is consistent and advice on upcoming maintenance is appreciated.

Perfect Service
I signed up from TPG to Aussie Broadband and I have never regretted the move. Great customer service and technical support. I brought my own modem and they helped me set it up over the phone. NBN speed is consistent. No dropouts! Don’t look anywhere else!

Very reliable nbn internet
We were off to a very rocky start with Aussie Broadband with connection issues after setting up the hardware. Seemed as though no one could work out the issue and took a very long time to resolve after numerous phone calls which I had to follow up. I was almost at breaking point, communication wasn’t great and I honestly thought I made a huge mistake switching to Aussie Broadband. y of providing 1 free month worth of internet at no cost for the trouble and connection issues. I’m also impressed at the current speed on the nbn25 deal. We are not gamers, we do casual browsing and it’s ideal for us! Probably an equivalent speed to the adsl 2 speeds but a fraction faster. I also like the fact that I’m speaking to an Australian and supporting an Australian product. They were not pushy into selling me their products like many other tel cos and their phone wait times are not ridiculously long to speak to someone. They seem very honest and their motto is to give and receive respect from their customers which is very fair and sits well with my own values and ideals. Another thing that impressed me was that they have recently offered customers on limited data free extended data at these very uncertain times of Covid 19 which just displays their act of kindness. Great customer service
Once NBN tech replaced HFC modem the service has not experienced any outage. Aussie BB kept in touch until issue was resolved. Local knowledgeable team, and the best customer service I have experienced.

What happened to Aussie? Not techie, become unhelpful
Helped a relative with a 12/1Mbps seniors plan, thinking that HFC connections and 12Mbps should go hand in hand, apparently not. The NBN network has been down countless times, the most recent time for more than 2-3 weeks. It took both the NTD and modem with it, costing hundreds to fix. No payments given, by either NBN or Aussie, although they were happy to continue charging, even though NBN charges per DAY not per MONTH.

s the PDS speed given by Aussie as their 'peak time speeds'), i've never seen it hit 9Mbps! The speeds are constantly 2,4,6 or 8Mbps. Absolute junk! Aussie sales do say that the connection is meant for 6-7Mbps, not 11Mbps, so off to the TIO for that one. The sales never help, i was told it's the NBN 'policing' the service, the download for that time of the month was no joke, 0.96GB! LOL. I was told, there is shaping on 12Mbps and that my modem + wifi could never achieve close to 12Mbps. Every modem, in 2020 can handle 12Mbps. We have a hundreds of dollars TP Link setup, with Deco wireless capable of over 500Mbps in real world examples on Amazon. But apparently according to the 'techy' AussieBB, it couldn't handle the raw and exotic power of the 90's 12Mbps DSL speeds! Countless wired test, wireless tests, 3 modems and a complete new mesh network later and the best speed possible is 8Mbps. I keep getting asked for my mac address, they can see network addresses, not sure why they keep asking, the MacBook is clearly wired when we do the tests. Fi connection. WiFi does cause some signal loss. This is to be expected. If you wish to avoid signal loss, then a direct cabled connection is recommended. Sometimes neighbour's WiFi signals can interfere with yours as can microwaves, baby monitors, some phone handsets, and any thing else on that frequency. I recommend ensuring the modem is plugged directly into the wall, away from any kitchen appliances such as fridges, microwaves, etc. It should not be located in a cabinet and should be placed on a shelf as high as possible for best possible coverage.Hello unnamed person,

Secondly, the HFC network has been reported as the worst performing networks for downtime and faults only yesterday by TPG and a government enquiry. Read the news. Thirdly, just because you pool CVC at the POI does not mean that the line is getting that allocation. And if it is getting that allocation the speeds wired should always be 12/1Mbps or very close. I looked at the POI (see attached first photo, also added many other POI's where you're blowing the CVC minimum) and Aussie is not buying enough CVC, so that is very interesting to see. The POI hit the maximum allocated CVC and then went over, but that does not mean the slow down on this line is just CVC. It is the line. That is clear. Lastly, an NBN technician has entered the premises only this week and was not able to rectify any speed issues. They were only their to fix the entire area as the whole HFC network in that area went down. During that time you did not pause billing. Cabling inside the house is up to you. Aussie BB will provide the NBN modem, and telephony service, if required. I use my mobile for all calls so opted to go without a phone number, but I'm sure 'porting your number from your current provider wouldn't be an issue.

Hi Ian,internal cabling will be up to you, but nbn will install a nbn modem (you may be able to negotiate this somewhat) but they do have regulations that they must follow. If it's not placed where you want it, then you'll need to hire a licenced cabler to move it where you want it. We will port your number should you request it and we do provide VoIP plans with the starter plan being $0, but pay for all calls.
