I am a live alone pensioner and am concerned of costs of setting up NBN bundle, I also want to know if your company cancels my SpinTel bundle on my behalf. I have a D Link wireless n300 NBN ready modem, would I be able to use this and will I get help setting it up, cost is the main thing?

Hi Petepom. They do have NBN bundles at very competitive rates, but I was not able to take advantage of them because NBN is not yet available where I live. There is a 20 GB (5 GB peak time) NBN plan for $29.95 per month, and a 40 GB plan for $34.95. Here are all their NBN plans: http://www.ozonline.com.au/nbn/
I was able to use my own modem, and I was given all the assistance I needed in getting everything up and running. (I will admit, though, that my son is computer savvy and did most of the set-up)! Re-configuring the modem was quite easy. The staff are Aussies: they spoke clearly and had all the patience in the world. They do not charge anything for assistance over the phone, but if you had to have a technician come in I would think there would be a charge. If you phone them and tell them what you have and what problems you anticipate they will be able to tell you if you can do it all yourself or need help.

Hi Petepom,
Our Bundles start at $34.84 for both phone and broadband.
For as little as $39.85 you can have broadband and phone service with unlimited local calls.
If you go with a bundle with us, then your SpinTel bundle is automatically cancelled when we transfer your phone number.
On a 24 month plan your only upfront cost is the router and your first month.
With a Bundle you will need the TP-Link TD-VG3631 Voice/Broadband router.
You can purchase this independently or from us for $99 ($20 delivery). I understand that cost is an issue but getting the router from us, where we provide it fully configured and delivered is a good idea since if there are any issues, it's our problem.
