I ordered a package 3 weeks and 3 days ago and it still hasn't come. AUS Post need to step up their game and get more organised as they are costing me aesthetic instagram photos. I even bought handbags from glassons, but my order online hasnt come.

I was left a card to go to my local postoffice and it took 3 days to arrive about 100m away with express. All tracked and it was live goods.

Was trying to ship a replacemet part that is only available in the US. About 0.5kg including packaging, actual product is much less (keyboard components). Got an estimate using the actual dimensions of the box and got around 35AUD estimate (product retail was 20USD). When the package actually arrived I was smashet with almost 90 AUD price for shipment and 4kg (!!!) package. Called Auspost and was told that "because of dimensions I must pay for 4KG" which was not going to happen. Raised a ticket with them to have it repackaged (actual product wo...
Read moreuld fit in a small parcel ant weighs about just 150g), and had no response for two months. No way to create a repackaging request directly because "this service it not available for this order". Tried to follow up with a phone call but there is no way to speak with ShopMate team. The service is still sending email demanding that i pay for the shipping, still no progress with the support ticket. Most likely will never get resolved, and I have lost my parts that are not available in Australia and 3 months of time. Absolutely horrible, dysfunctional service, the shipping costs look like a lottery and estimates are inaccurate. Highly disappointed, this is by far the worst service i received in Autsralia in a decade.I ordered some items from Zara USA and had them shipped to my shopmate address hassle free, i then paid for postage and it was shipped to my door within 3 weeks! It did say i would have received it sooner however it was held up in Sydney, not overseas. I was surprisingly pleased with the service after reading the bad reviews and taking the gamble anyway. Will definitely use again.

Ive had an account with them for quite a few years, used sporadically. They have just got worse and worse. Dont ship this dont ship that.. Just a waste of time, and horrendously expensive compared to other services. Still, this is Australia post we’re talking about. They couldn’t deliver a letter to a neighboring suburb in 17 days so what do you expect? Ive paid their extortionate fees to get the vitamins I ordered shipped to another provider who WILL ship to Aus at half the cost. Once completed I’ll be closing the account forever. A complete waste of space

Took 2 days for my package to arrive at the shopmate warehouse and has sat there for 9 days without any action and no way to contact them without a lot of effort

Ordered a package in the USA.
The seller split it into 2, as it is bulky.
Had it delivered to my shopmate address.
Only one of the parcels is showing up (And I had to use their "find my package" feature for that one) even though fed ex says that they are both there.
I have emailed twice without ANY response for a week.
I have called and got someone telling me: "oh, they're a bit busy at the moment"
VERY POOR FORM AP.
-Then finally I got this reply:

The shipping cost ended up being very close to the estimate provided by the calculator on the website. The process was easy enough to navigate. This was a far cheaper option than going with the US seller's $120USD shipping charge. I paid about $106 incl the $50 GST for the Carburettor I ordered.
I've seen plenty of bad reviews for Shopmate but my experience did not match those.

Before I discovered Shopmate, I used alot of dodgy carriers that had ALOT of hidden fees. As Shopmate is all online, it literaly takes 2 seconds to claim and pay for the postage once they arrive to the warehouse, and you can request to squeeze all the items in 1 box, and save ALOT. They have a dedicated line for JUST Shopmate customers, so the hold is extremelly short, and the customer service is always on point. All these people complaining about how “EXPENSIVE IT IS” forget that there are import tax fees associated with your parcel, so if you...
Read morer item is small but expensive, it is obviously gonna cost heaps because it’s based on multiple factors - not JUST weight and size. People also forget the manual work it takes to take your items, unpack them, repack them together (for you to save money!) and send them off. Maybe stick to your local Kmart if you’re on a tight budget, and only use this service if you EXTREMELLY must buy something from overseas.Find out how Australia Post Shopmate compares to other Couriers

I read the negative reviews after already submitting payment for postage through shipmate and thought I'm doomed.. I had the opposite experience. My item shipped a day after paying the invoice and took 8 business days to arrive. I think the cost is reasonable, it's the ATO taking their clip that inflates the cost!
I would use Shopmate again :)

Purchased items vanish into thin air . Purchased T -shirt to check out the service . I was hopeful at the start . Has been 3 months should have read and trusted the reviews
UPDATE: The package actually arrived here safe after almost a month in transit. A good way of being able to gauge when your package will arrive in Australia from America is to check passenger flights from Portland to Sydney, as that's the only method the packages are transported. Hope this helps.
I have simply come to terms with the fact that I will probably never receive a useful human response regarding the status of my package.
As I am writing, it is the last estimated day for my package to arrive, yet it has not even updated since they "...
Read moreshipped" it 11 days ago. I have called ShopMate themselves and literally all they told me was my own tracking number that I already had, I sent a ticket to AusPost and they told me to CONTACT THE SELLER if my package didn't arrive by a certain date, despite them being the same company. I must give credit where credit is due however, they did process my order through their warehouse and get $80 out of me very quickly, though the shipping of the product I paid for is not as quick. The saddest part is that from reading this page, the only way for you to receive any help is to leave a terrible review.Find out how Australia Post Shopmate compares to other Couriers

Paid the invoice weeks ago as soon as it came through and the parcel is still sitting as "It's being prepared". No updates since the 14th August. Have tried reaching out/contacting Shopmate to find out what is going on and have received no reply back. I have no idea if the parcel has even been shipped or not. Absolutely the worst service. I recommend anyone reading this avoids at all costs and looks into alternative services such as Planet Express, Shipito etc.
Item has been paid for and “preparing for shipping” since August 6th. I sent through the invoice just as asked and zero contact has been made back to me after trying to reach out about it’s whereabouts. I don't know if my package has been shipped or is just sitting there. This is a very expensive forwarding service for slow turn arounds that don't match their own delivery ETAs, a lack of customer service and abysmal communication. I shouldn’t have to hound you in order to get a package, that I paid for 15 days ago, shipped. Do not use ShopMate, there are plenty other forwarding services that are cheaper, more efficient and have better customer service.
Hi Blabla,
Sorry to hear you've had a poor experience with our Shopmate service....
Read more If the parcel is still outstanding I'd recommend giving them a call on 1300 624 475 so they can follow this up for you. I'm aware they're experiencing a larger than normal volume of enquiries, so I'm sorry it feels as if you need to chase them up. - CatLet's just start off with the shipping price which has jumped up, I had to pay for a few more kgs than the actual weight of the item and it wasn't possible to repackage where normally it used to be around $60. So I paid almost $90 for shipping for a pair of shoes.
Shipping confirmation received July 22nd from Shopmate. Didn't receive any updates so gave them a call 2nd August, got an update to tracking the next day all the way to it being processed in a facility South West Sydney, usually any other delivery I have gotten recently takes only a ...
Read moreday or 2 after this stage of being processed in a facility, it has been 2 weeks and is still saying it has been delayed. I put in an enquiry with Shopmate today and they said it should still be on schedule and they will look into it. Being very close in proximity to the facility it was processed in, I don't see why this package hasn't been delivered and others have. The only difference is that this is going to a Parcel Locker, which I thought would be easier considering the current situation. I don't think I will continue to use Shopmate or a Parcel Locker. While I have had a good experience with Australia Post shipping domestically, they really need to step up their game on these International Parcels, especially with the high price tag of shipping and the sheer quantity of bad reviews they are accumulating here.HI Shakeel,
That's a really long time to be waiting given the parcel is so close! This does sound more like a domestic issue relating to the local delivery facility or the locker location rather than...

Item recieved by Shopmate 21st Aug and says it will be sent out within 3 business days. its the 3rd of September and inquiries to both shopmate and AusPost were not responded to. 00093493040004374385
Same here. Item approved for shipping 19th August from Portland with ETA of 25 - 30 Aug but as of today still no scans to suggest movement. I have another item with another US forwarding company that is coming via USPS. They have provided more information on the situation than Aust. Post. That initial scan stated expect delays due to lack of processing capacity / flights to destination country. I guess we just need a little patience as frustrating as it is.
My package showed up on tracking at the beginning of July, was due for delivery in early August, kept getting delayed and last update said processed at facility in South West Sydney 18 Aug, have sent through multiple enquiries and a lost item enquiry, was told that there is just delays due to covid, they will deliver as soon as possible.
Just this week now they are saying that they think it's been lost. I don't know if they will even compensate me for the 260 for the item and 90 shipping for shopmate and they're still very slow to respond.
Won't ever use it again.
Hi Shopmate Team - I have sent a query to [email protected] but nothing back apart from a case number a week ago. How long should I wait for a response? I keep getting automated "Did you forget to send your parcel" reminders which is not too helpful...
Thanks in advance!
Hi Adam,
We're experiencing a larger than normal amount of enquiries at the moment, but someone from the Shopmate team will get back to you as soon as they can. Alternatively, you can give them a call on 1300 624 475.
