ALDI Bauhn ATVS55-0316 (55", Mar 2016)

The TV does not have good picture quality, it has three HDMI ports, there is a bit of problem on channel search, now my TV only works on Ethernet and have problem connecting with WiFi

It is a basic TV, not smart, and was a good price ($599). Tried connecting my PC through HDMI but this upset the TV picture. Otherwise, the picture and sound were good. Picture disappeared after 25 months use (sound was OK) and I was advised that repair was not viable. Disappointed.

The picture quality is perfect! We have had no issues with 4K quality or playing really old vhs tapes. All comes up super well and the old stuff isn’t to grainy. The speakers have a good volume to them. There are plenty of ports to plug all the game consoles or DVD players in. We have been very happy with the purchase!

For the price this tv has everything you need.I'm more than happy with picture quality. Great tv that doesn't break the bank.Have tried smart function I do find that the keypad a little fiddly but i do have an issue with eyesight. Sound is good has enough ports to connect your devices just a bargain.

Tv great only problem is that the remote controll unit is a bit small and can be hard to use at time . They should have a bigger unit other wise it is great . Good price would consider other products from this German company good value for money. No problems so far

For the money we paid for this from Aldi, it turned out to be a brilliant buy. Picture quality is excellent. I find that I can watch sport on it without blurring. There are plenty of ports on board for connecting PVR etc
It is a smart TV but I prefer to use me desk top computer, so I wont comment on a feature I don't use
Controller is not the best but is OK some times needs button to be pressed twice
Sound is a bit tinny, so best to have speakers installed, they are cheap enough
For those of you wanting a cheap TV & not bothered about the smart side of things, this is a great buy

No surprise Aldi has sold a lot of these.. after all, how attractive is a 4k 55" Ultra High-def TV for the incredible price of $777? Couldn't wait to get it out of the box and fired up and.. after firing it up.. couldn't wait to get it back in the box and refunded. What a dud. It simply did not deliver on specs at any level. The picture was dull and soft (despite any setting) and the audio sounded like it was coming out of a tin can. More bass and less treble made no difference at all. This really is one of those "you get what you pay for" expe...

Purchased an ATVS55 - 0316 and audio was like a 1 speaker radio. Hotline advises calls with many same issues and no solution at his time. Will return tomorrow for full refund and keep to major brands. Careful what you pay for - low price does not mean good quality all the time.

every thing works so slow
changing the channels is so slow
sound quality is crap
none of the function work properly
remote sensor is very poor cheap quality
if you need this tv for work where you don't change the channel or use it a lot. then this tv is the best value
other wise peace of crap
