Best in the market for 12 mth plans. Easy to manage and Telstra infrastructure but throttled to 100mbs. So what! Perfect for 4g wireless modems to defeat the NBN dramas. And so much less expensive.

Horrendous customer service!!!
Terrible Mobile App. Spoken to 4 overseas call centre customer service agents today, 2 hung-up on me, other 2 couldn`t solve a simple problem!! These guys are cheap, but everything about the organisation is terrible.

Ridiculous service
nearly 10 days trying to activate the SIM but not activated . called the customer service more than 20 times and the call waiting time was 45 minutes. all waste no one give the right answer. because of very poor communication skill and lack of responsibility.

Takes a full week to activate
Don't get this prepaid SIM if you need it urgently. It takes a full week to go active upon activation. Never had this issue with any other provider.
Edit: Also received 80GB plan instead of 150GB which I've paid for. Too much hassle for a prepaid. AVOID!
Customer service staff were nice enough though.

Review score for my second interaction with Boost.
This is my second review of Boost mobile, and is based solely on the Company's follow up after the initial problems I experienced that were detailed in my first review a couple of days ago (a 1 star review). After that review, Boost reached out and have made good. Their follow up communication was prompt, friendly and apologetic and the additional unexpected cost that I incurred was offset by a voucher. So I thought I would give them 5 stars for these corrective actions bringing their average to 3 stars across my two reviews.

Boost Mobile Refurbished iPhone SE 16GB Grey
Paid $169 on boost.com.au to buy a refurbished iphone SE 16GB grey.
What they delivered was an iphone 5s which is a cheaper and less advanced model. Have requested a refund from them today and will update this review based on how long it takes them to refund the purchase. Note there is no SE stamp on the back. This is obviously a disappointing first experience with boost.
** Update 25/4/2020 **
After chasing up a return through PayPal Resolution Centre, Boost Refurbished has supplied a Reply Paid postal address, and once my phone was returned to them, they provided a prompt refund. So it was an honest mistake on their part, but they have given good customer service and rectified the issue.

Bad service, not even value a star
I had ordered my sim plan $100 in December 2022 and turned out that nothing send to my address. I had asked for the return and seemed like nothing gonna happened til now.

Slow connection but good follow up
Purchased $150 sim card which arrived three days later. So far so good. Activated card on the same day, hoping to have it up and running within 24 hours. The service was still not live more than a week later. Boost was difficult to contact but when I finally managed to do so by email, the response was quick and efficient. Terrible, Terrible
Seriously this company should not exist. I managed to get refund after complaint to Ombudsman. It was a long way but I thought it was over. About a month later, Boost sent me txt to say I have to return sim card which I've never received to get refund. Just avoid this company!

Great Service
Had an issue activating my pre paid sim card. Emailed boost and it was sorted out quickly. At all time I received friendly and professional service. I would recommend boost mobile

Worst Mobile Internet and Customer Service ever!!!
Received a $150 prepaid SIM at the beginning of January, and up until now (3+ months & 4 calls to Boost customer service later) I have not been able to use the mobile data at all!
Called Boost the first time - they advised to go through the troubleshooting steps of turning the phone off and on etc., told me that the connection was all fine on their end. No internet. wrong with my phone (of course not because all other SIMs that I've used work fine!!), then told me to go to a Telstra shop (???) to get a replacement SIM. Went to a Telstra shop - advised that they don't service Boost customers and to go back to Boost. Called Boost the 4th time - the person I spoke to this time was extremely rude. Admitted that they gave the wrong advice and now tells me I need to pay for a new SIM (?!). Finally agreed to send me a replacement SIM but it might take 3 weeks because apparently customers have been calling to complain that their SIMs haven't been arriving 3 weeks after ordering. No trace of sincere concern for my experience whatsoever. Everytime I call, I'm put on hold for over half an hour. Extremely frustrating experience and I 1000% regret this purchase. This is by far the worst mobile provider I have ever experienced - and I have been with Vaya, Amaysim, Optus, Kogan, Yomojo, and Moose. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!1 comment

Happy with the coverage (including international) but hope for additional options
We bought a prepaid SIM pack (with 80GB for 12 months) from Coles 12 months ago and have recharged for another year
+ experienced quick change over from the previous carrier
+ data more than required and no need to worry about month by month quota)
+ generous international calls and texts
+ easy to check balance by dialing #111# and recharge
- I and many more low data users will appreciate smaller 20GB or 40 GB plans with long expiry 12-months
- it should be easier to contact via email or chat options

Activated Sim on Saturday 28 March and I still have no service. I paid $150 for your SIM. Today I waited on hold for 3 hours before hanging up. Terrible service and regretting ever purchasing your SIM.

Network coverage is pathetic,Telstra always claim to be the best,absolute crap..half a star...yes frequent drop out, can't watch a 5 minute clip with out it rebuffering a dozen times...pathetic!! Don't bother,customer service is non existent!!

Still waiting for activation - however connected now
Not off to a great start. Have been waiting for the activation to take place since Thursday and now is Monday afternoon. No notifications since the initial email saying it would take up to 24 hours. Have been unable to reach boost either through chat or the phone. Very poor customer service compared to the service provider I have been with before.
Update: Was later able to get through after 40 mins on hold. Was quickly activated over the phone. Not sure why it didn't go through before. Will update and maybe give more stars in the future if the service is good.

Bad start but everything worked out well in the end.
I had trouble activating for a couple of days, and was told it would not work.
Then I received an email saying it was activated.
In between I had written a poor review here, and had a reply from customer service.
I contacted them, was given an apology, and even a voucher for my next recharge.
The mobile service is good and customer service was very good.
No complaints.

Horrendous customer service
Been trying to activate my new Boost sim. There was a porting error and my current provider emailed me saying I need to call Boost and give them a missing piece of information, which is literally just my 5 digit customer number.
As you can see in the screenshot, after 45 mins calls automatically get cut. (altho the latest call got auto cut at 30 mins)
I get through to a lady, who's in the middle of taking my information and the call auto cuts, because I've reached 45 mins. I wait some time expecting her to call me back. No call back, continue...Read more
to requeue, on hold for hours to no avail. Their customer support hours end up coming to an end (also given I tried to get in touch with them 2 hours before they close) The following day trying to call them, I get through after 40 mins on hold. I explain to the guy look this call is going to get cut in 5 mins, can you please call me back when it does. He assures me that he will. Call proceeds to get cut, he doesn't call me back. Since then I've now been on hold trying get through for over 50 mins now (multiple calls ofc). So all in all, wasted over 4 hours of my time, spoken to two different customer representatives and gotten absolutely nowhere. Because I only have minutes to solve the issue before the call is auto cut at the 45 min mark. With no option for them to call me back. Not sure how many times I'm going to have to try....Joke of a company. EDIT, finally got through. Issue was resolved by the 3rd customer representative that I was put through to. I finally got my service activated yesterday after requesting activation on Saturday 28 March. I ended up going through the Telstra call centre. I explained my situation and the telstra employee was able to directly transfer me through to a Boost rep and they activated it over the phone. If you can use someone else's phone to call Telstra that will be your best chance of resolving the problem.
Cheers...honestly I'm tired of the whole rigmarole, they should be working from home if the corona virus was a concern, sick of their excuses,extremely poor data speed, they dont even have the decency to repond to existing customers concerns, instead they duplicate every response,to me that explains what kind of company they are and their carefactor..I've got the s8 note so it's a good phone,no reason for crap data speed you were lucky too have jagged the Telstra rep.i wish you all the best!!!
