Avoid it
The worst heater ever. Had it broken down twice in the last 2 years. Was told its a faulty motherboard. Breamar should compensate us for all the callout fees we have to pay to get it fixed under warranty. It may be 6 star energy rating but its 0 star for reliability

Great unit when Installed properly
I've read a lot of reviews on this product and others, I did a lot of research and found most issues described have come down to bad installation more than the unit having issues.
I had this unit installed 12 months ago. Initially we had major problems, uneven temperature, cutting out, weird errors. Called the installation company and had a different installer come out who basically re-installed all the ducting, including upsizing the return. Mine was Installed in 2012, was repaired (circuit board replaced) under warranty 3 times in first 3 years. Was ok for last 5 years. Now it’s showing an -02 error code and won’t start. From memory this is what happened in the early days. Anyone else experienced this on the 6 star unit?
