Hi! We are in the process of signing with Carlisle EasyLiving range. We liked the Peninsula 33 house plan but there is only one minor change we would like to request and that is placing the island bench to the centre (separating it from the sink) by doing this will create an access. Is this possible? I knew someone who managed to add shower area in the powder room which is a structural changed.

Hi! In regards to your bench top request as per my info they don’t to any changes to there wet area...basically they don’t touch there plumbing. Also as per my info you can extend the size of the bench top but I am not sure if they move it to centre. Best option to contact your sales rep and clarify with them. Best of luck for you new house.

Hi, we are planning to knock down and rebuild, love your designs so went to see the display homes in Keysborough, forwarded my titled and all details for a quote but was very disappointed to hear that the site manager refused to build at our location, can this be reviewed and reconsidered?

Hi Ash Bentleigh East,

Thank you for your question. Our Building Manager is responsible for reviewing each new proposed knock down re-build site and determining if the location is suitable for a Carlisle build.
In some instances if the site is located on a main road with no standing zones, bus zones, school crossings etc it may be rejected.

Should you wish to obtain any further information as to why your location was deemed to not be suitable we would encourage you to again contact our Keysborough Sales Consultant.

Hi,

We are located on a main road but there are no zone restrictions, bus zone or school crossings in front of our house, the only reason as per following response from your Keysborough office was that the road is busy!!:-
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Guys,

Ive forwarded the address to our construction manager for him to say yay or nay to.

Mackie road can be quite busy and he is pretty strict on this as to whether we take a site on or not….

Ill let you know asap,

Thanks for getting back quickly. If we forget about cooling, could we have up to 11 ceiling ducted points with this standard unit (without upgrading it)? If not could you please let us know what is the max. number of points we can have and what is the next immediate upgrade option (model) available to achieve 11 points?

I am about to sign my tender and a bit worried about the site costs. Are the fixed site costs are really fixed ???

2 of the designs that we really like in the t-range both have kids toilet upstairs with no window (colorado grand and bellmont). My daughter is terrified of closed spaces which means she would have to use the toilet with door open everytime. It looks like a simple change to us - (in colorado grand - move wir to other side and move toilet back and put window) ( in bellmont switch the shower and toilet plus wall and have window on toilet) ... this may seem small buts its actually going end up having us go to another builder as carlisle doesnt change wet areas. We really like the plans, is there anything that can be done?

Carlisle M.Carlisle Homes

Hi Vari,

Thank you for your question.
In reference to the Colorado Grand floorplan we would be happy to accommodate an adjustment where the toilet is relocated to the external wall similar to the Colorado 34.
This would result in a double door sliding robe to Bedroom 3 wall.

Unfortunately due to plumbing restrictions the Bellmont cannot be adjusted in a similar way.

We would recommend you speak with a member of our Sales Team to discuss this option mentioned above.

Hi, we are currently building our first home Cromwell 29 and we like display Cromwell 33 in high groove, but we don’t know that there is cupboards in room 3 and 4 instead of walk-in- robe as shown in display Cromwell 33. Now everything is finalised, somehow we didn’t notice as in our mind that there is walk in robe. Now we want mirrors sliding door instead of normal cupboards because we don’t like that. Now they ask us to charge $500 for changing. I m ready to pay for mirror doors cost and reframing but I m not happy with $500 that they charge . It’s not happy with that.
Can you please do something with that?
Thanks

Hi, Sales highlighted a feature on a facade and I was interested. They printed everything for me and I paid the deposit. In the deposit receipt too, they mentioned the facade name. But next week they said that facade is not available and no facades with similar feature available for me. I'm looking for a better resolution for this issue as it is very disappointing to have this kind of issues even from sales stage. Any help? Thanks.

Hi Ray.p,

Thank you for your question.

The warranty applicable to plumbing blockages is dependent on how long you have had possession of the property and what has caused the blockage. If you could please contact us directly to discuss we would be happy to work through any issues you may be experiencing and provide appropriate advice.

As you may be aware, prior to settlement we place cameras through our plumbing to ensure they are free of blockages.

I am building a house with Carlisle, I pretty much like all the T range true display living inclusions except their kitchen appliance- that is a free standing upright cooker and oven from Technika. The appliance I would like to have are expensive as I got a quote from my CLE. I would like to know if there is any option if I will choose not to have any cooktop and oven from carlisle and then install the appliances after handover by my own choice?

Hi, I honestly don’t know if that’s an option! Carlisle have lots of combinations and a large range of appliances to choose from. Would be worth a visit to the showroom, or maybe ask your CLE if you can do it post handover

Sam
Sam

You can probably check with them as it is included in the base price. If they can deduct a few amount it is worth to buy from outside. But definitely you can buy from outside

Carlisle M.Carlisle Homes

Hi Preet,

Thank you for your question.

We do not have an option to hand over your home without appliances installed. We can source and price most known brands so please let your Client Liaison Executive know of your preference and we should be able to accommodate the request. Alternatively, you can choose to remain with our standard Technika freestanding or in-built options and then swap them over to your preferred alternative after handover.

Hi,

I feel I'm not getting a good response from you client liaison.

I am about to sign my tender contract this June 4th 2018 but when I asked a breakdown, the CL refuse to give me a breakdown of the costing. I was just checking of some of the charges

I just wanted to know how much my budget would be for my additions but won't give me. Not sure why. Is it not allowed to ask any breakdown even before the contract tender is signed?

I think I have the right to ask a breakdown summary of the total costing as I am a customer.

Thanks.

Hello,

How/Where do I report warranty issues? I have both my garage doors having issue. The door going out is now very difficult to open/close. You have to push/pull them very hard just to close/open them. seems like the door and the frame now are not aligned. On my other door, it is very minor, the doorstop is not aligned with the door itself, most of the times, the door would open past the slot. From Carlisle Connect, I just found out I do not have a CLE anymore so we do not know to who to report these issues to.

Looking for answers.

Thanks.

Hi Jake, I am certain if you contact Carlisle Homes Head office on 03 9560 1779, and ask for their warranty department, someone will be able to assist you.
You could try contacting your supervisor, he would be able to direct you as well. If you are outside of you 3 month inspection, you would have received an email from the warranty department at some stage.
best bet is to call Carlisle Homes 03 9560 1779 and ask for the warranty department.
