I have used Nice n Easy med ash blond on roots for 15 years and loved it. Faded to a lovely natural looking blonde with no yellow tinge. But this new formula 8a is awful. Hair feels dry and throws brassy yellow lights within one week of application. I’m so disappointed, why did Clairol mess with a popular formula ?

I have always used this product and the same colour for years. It always worked perfectly. This time it came out dark brown not blonde. I will never buy this product ever again! I can’t stand it and will have to redo it tomorrow. Buyer beware.

For 15 + years Ive used 98 or 100.
The new equivalents do not produce the same beautiful natural colours.
They are shocking. Eg 9.5A Turns the hair a green greyish colour. Rang Clairol and took their advice. Their newly labelled colours and numbers have no bearing on what the result is. Shame on you Clairol. Very disappointing.

This colour made my hair too dark. I hate it. My hair was blonde and I wanted a light reddish brown. However my hair turned dark brown. I will never use your product

The New Nice and Easy hair dye is awful i have used 10 years, the mixing of it is a mess, the application is horrible, it takes a long time to do your hair now - twice as long. Leaves residue on my pillows like never before. the colour is not right, i hated using the new product and i am looking to change!
anyone any ideas of who to use

Please don’t ignore the reviews saying your hair gets red. I ended up with ginger hair! And the smell was horrendous - my hair still (3 days on) smells like chemicals!
I had brought it cause it said ASH!! Saw the reviews, thought “nah, maybe they had a funny undertone or something”. Used it on my light light yellow/white hair and bam - started turning red. Panicked and wanted to wash it out, but thought maybe it’s part of process. It’s not.
ash = green undertones!! This is the complete opposite. It ruined my hair and the condition is asp poorer now.
Please don’t make the mistake I did.
Never - EVER - buying this brand again. Utter garbage.

Purchased 2 boxes of Nice n Easy 9.5 Extra light blonde from Woolworths $18.00 have used it for years no problem until recently when i applied it and was shocked it has made my hair brown. Ive sent an email to Clairol as other have replied on here and received no reply its pathetic that no one has contacted me or others next will put in the hands of consumer affairs. This company doesnt seem to care about customers or their quality control you have lost me as a customer.

I have been using this brand and colour for years, I dyed my hair on Saturday and its now a dark brown almost black! It always turns out a lovely blonde. I have tried to contact clairol/coty on several occasions and have no response. I have pictures of before and after and kept the packaging plus the gloves which is evidence that there is something very wrong with this colour!
